Used to eat here often, but we moved away and could no longer frequent. I was in town visiting family and decided to stop by and order my usual, a teriyaki salmon bowl with extra veggies. Not only has the quality gone down significantly (super dry/overcooked salmon), but the customer service from the woman at the front was unacceptable. She was very rude and extremely unhelpful. There was hardly any sauce on my bowl even though I ordered extra and when I asked for more they charge almost $1 per half filled two ounce cup. It is kind of ridiculous to spend $25 on a bowl and have to pay extra for sauce when it should be included on the "teriyaki" bowl in the first place. Came here for dinner the other night, it was pretty good. We got the hibachi bowls , I got the steak and shrimp very flavorful , my only complaint was there isn't very much meat . My wife got a bowl with noodle and steak , the noodles were linguini I believe not very flavorful kinda odds. The gyozas were good. One thing that did throw us off was the spicy edamame They had tajin and salt... tajin isn't spicy never saw this done before at any restaurant . Great little place for fast takeaway hibachi. I ordered online and my order was ready as soon as I got there. I was pleased that I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg for some decent hibachi. I got the steak and shrimp with fried rice to go. The vegetables were fresh and the shrimp was large. My only minor complaint was that the steak was chewy but it's not a huge deal. I'd probably get the chicken and shrimp next time. Everything was seasoned well. It wasn't too salty and didn't make me feel guilty for getting take out. I read a few reviews before writing this and I can honestly say that the women's bathroom was clean. I also didn't notice any weird smells in the restaurant. Everything looked clean but I was also in the restaurant for less than 5 minutes. I will add that the staff were super nice. Overall, I'd go again. The food comes in a bowl with rice (fried or steamed) or noodles on the bottom, then topped with vegetables and the protein of your choice. They even bring out the ginger and mustard sauces you'd get at a hibachi bar. I couldn't finish mine so I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow! This would have easily been a 5 star review if the wait had not been super long. This place is pretty popular even on a Sunday night. Firstly, place your order at the counter. Then seat yourselves. Near the fountain drink, there is a counter with soy sauce bottles, sriracha, low sodium soy sauce packets, utensils, and togo boxes. It might have been helpful to have cups of water close to the fountain for easy access. I loved the wallpaper that was sushi themed all around the dining area - super cute. I had the deluxe eel roll, which was California roll with avocado topped with eel. If you're craving for some high-end sushi, I would suggest going to another sushi spot as the sushi selection here is limited. My roll was a little underwhelming; the flavors did not speak to me. If you want the bang for your buck, I would go for the luxury combos. My boyfriend had the chicken and shrimp combo, and man oh man did they have a lot of food for the price. You can definitely save half of that combo for lunch/dinner tomorrow. Since the kitchen was right by the order counter, you can hear them stir frying the meal as you wait. I ordered the egg rolls, chicken nuggets, California rolls, and the Snow White roll. The egg rolls actually tasted pretty good, they were super hot guessing they came straight from fryer. They were vegetable eggs rolls and I dipped it in their spicy mustard sauce, which was really good. It's nice that they have all the sauces out for you so you can grab whatever you want. They say you can tell the quality of a sushi restaurant based on the California roll since it's the most basic roll. It was alright, not bad. Their Snow White roll was pretty good too. It came topped with a white sauce that was creamy sweet. Chicken nuggets I thought tasted alright too, you can't really expect much for $3. Pretty good value. My cousin didn't like it though. I tried a little bit of my cousins teriyaki bowl with noodles, tasted just okay. Looked pretty similar to lo mein, I've never really been a fan lo mein. But she liked it. I ordered Hashi cause I was craving sushi and had UberEATS deliver to my hotel which went fine by the way. I'm a big fan of Uber and UberEATS and coming from Florida seeing the selection that Fort Worth has is REDONKULOUS! There are SO MANY OPTIONS! I'm jealous. Seriously jealous! So I got a little order happy and got: --- Salmon Teriyaki This was SO good. The salmon itself was cooked pretty well and the sauce was amazing. The best part about this plate was hands down the veggies. OMG I coulda ate just a whole plate of the veggies and sauce it was so good! --- Deluxe Eel Roll I wasn't too impressed with this roll... I don't really remember why... but the eel on top was amazing and had a nice BBQ'ed taste to it. It didn't have any bones which I love and the sauce was so good. --- Takoyaki I've always wanted to try these and for $3 I figured why not! They were mostly dough balls, I could barely taste anything else also the sauce was spicy. I think I would had enjoyed it more if it wasn't as spicy as it was (to me at least, I can't handle a lot of spice). --- Edamame Steamed perfectly. First time here. Pretty good experience. It's an order at the counter and food is brought to you kind of place. Proteins take the form of hibachi or teriyaki. We asked what the difference was and told both are cooked on a flat top, but teriyaki has, are you ready for it? Teriyaki sauce. Large, clean, dining area with self serve drinks and "condiment" (that's how the large sign read, forgot to snap a picture) bar. Thuy and I shared a Rainbow Roll ($8.95) and a Chicken Hibachi ($7.95), as we did want more sweet/salty sauce . This was a good decision, as we found the hibachi was sauced enough, and perhaps a bit too sweet. It, and the rainbow roll, were quite good, My only real complaint is that the hot food took a little long to arrive. It arrived hot, but well after we were done with our roll. No big deal. I uploaded a couple shots of the menu, that's all there is, one piece of paper, front and back. I would not mind coming back to try some of the other rolls. Some sound pretty tasty. King King Roll (crawfish, shrimp, crab, cream cheese, tempura fried) anyone? Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, "hashi" is the Japanese word for chopsticks. Dōitashimashite. The food is ok. Nothing spectacular or amazing but good enough to fill you up. Gyoza I felt was over priced and so is the California roll. Shrimp was rubbery and steak was juicy but lacking flavor. The wait time was long but I did see a "hiring"sign. Bathrooms needed attention and tables were dirty but because it was lunch time and there was plenty of seating I didnt seem to mind.
