I've been trying to find a good neighborhood sushi spot since I've moved to the area that isn't overly pricey but with a decent quality ingredients and I came across reviews for HK Sushi. I ordered a couple of different items that included Sushi and a roll and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of ingredients they used and for the very reasonable price that I paid for it The sushi I ordered was beautifully crafted and it held together even when I brought it home as a to go order and I ordered the dynamite crab roll, which was absolutely delicious The only thing I didn't get were utensils, but that's so minor when everything else was so amazing I'll definitely try dining in one time - the restaurant was very clean and very comfortable If you're looking for just an everyday sushi spot definitely try HK Sushi read more

My family absolutely loves this quaint restaurant, we choose it for birthdays and other family gatherings. First, their sushi is amazing and always fresh and perfectly delicious. My kids love to try new rolls each time and haven't had one they did not enjoy. Now they're branching off into the rest of the menu, seaweed salad, squid salad, hibachi, you name it, they love it. The staff is always on top of whatever we ask for and keeps drinks filled, removes plates quickly, which is good cause sushi plates can crowd a table. This spot was quick and AMAZING! I loved the food. I was so excited when I saw vegetable tempura. I haven't had it since I was in Japan , so I thoroughly enjoyed it. The sushi was great. The sushi was amazing, likely the best in this area. Everything was so fresh and quality ingredients were used. They have a small bar, we went for lunch so didn't partake in the alcohol options. We had the crab and spicy tuna nachos along with HK roll and the Fort Worth roll. I highly recommend all three items. The only downside, which was not worthy of losing stars is there is no music. Landed at this spot by accident , we were looking for a simple place with fried rice for my son and sushi for myself. The place is very clean & quiet for family gatherings. When we got there, no waiting time & fast and friendly service. My son ordered plain fried rice, & I ordered the Pokémon Panko avocado & Arizona roll. To all the places I've gone this is the second place with the BEST avocado fried roll (Pokémon panko). The customer service was amazing. The food service and quality is a 10. Found this through Yelp while in the area for work. The person I was with gave this 5 stars. For me some of the items tasted fishy and wasn't chilled enough for my liking. The egg...I had never had it before but wanted to try it since the person I was with ordered it and I was surprised I really enjoyed it! We even got another order of the eggs. The server didn't ask if we wanted split checks but he brought us each a check. I was paying for both and this seemed to complicate things in the end. I hope everything will work out with the final bill when it hits my credit card. To mitigate this in the past I guess just tell them one check but I'm used to the server asking JIC. read more

This place is SOLID. Portions are bigger than any other sushi spot I've been to for what it feels like, and the flavor for all of it is GREAT. I ordered the HK roll, Crab Dynamite roll, salmon skin roll, and Jalapeño roll, and I liked them the most in that order. Fish tasted p FRESH. We got our food to go and the to-go containers were unique in the sense that the cover is actually connected to the tray. Loved it. First impression so far, terrible. $64 they just started making it when we walked in the door to ask about it... probably won't have it until 7. Just really unacceptable. We are always up for an adventure and this one did not disappoint! We were immediately seated and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Happy Mother's Day lunch. We did good on selection of a restaurant. Mountain Tower, Kenny Roll, Cajun Roll, California Roll. We never know the size of Sushi servings when we order. Could have downsized by one roll, but we suffered through it. Will keep this on our To-Do list.
