Basically, it tasted as if the owner is in the back running the line because his cooks left him hanging. Crappily marinated, improperly cooked meat is what we got. Who ever was on the sides and banchan were on it though. They need a raise. Also, clean your restaurant and pick a theme man. Sidenote, having the server come out to tell us without coming out yourself is lame. They apologized many times to say sorry, the owner is in the back and told me to tell you such and such: "You just don't like "our" food. It's supposed to be like that." No, pretty sure it isn't. Your marinade for your meat is not good. The star goes toward your pantry cook. The banchan was not bad, weird lineup but not bad. Why no japchaee, or radish kimchi? Also, that much mayo on steamed broccoli def wasn't my favorite. They really tried to convince us that this is how it's supposed to taste, "What do you mean it tastes sour?" I mean, your marinade has too much vinegar in it. It tastes bad. "What exactly is wrong with the galbi?" It sat in the marinade too long, the meat taste grainy- because of the pear in the marinade- or pineapple juice to each their own. It can basically cook the meat before the meat hits the pan if you leave it in there too long. You would notice this stuff during the plating process- presentations good. But if the foods bad, it's bad no matter how pretty you make it look. We paid the full bill, didn't touch the meat. Pancake was good. Gave 10% to the server, because it wasn't her fault but she didn't help the situation. Forgot to mention as well: a lady and her kids at the table next to us got her meal discounted because of the food. When I asked if it is usually better she said, yes so much better. I'm not sure who is back there but it isn't the normal cook. It's pretty bad tonight. Maybe it was a one off, like everyone has but... the idea that you can try to convince customers that maybe they're wrong and just don't know how Korean food should taste surely did leave a bad taste for us.

Simply put we ordered way too much food today. Their Chicken wings are huge...meaty. I'm not a fan of wings that are as heavily breaded as these were. The buffalo wings for instance were ok. Nothing special. Same with the lemon pepper. The Asian style wings with "fish oil" were our least favorite. The Creamy crab egg rolls were delicious and unique. The chicken eggs rolls were ok. I'm on the hunt for egg rolls that are stuffed with cabbage. These, like the chicken wings are little too heavy on the breading. The Garlic Noodles are sooooo good. The Pad Thai was flavorful, saucy, and on the sweeter side. I asked for chili sauce, but they brought chili oil instead. I personally prefer chili flakes. The eggplant and tofu had good flavor, although I do wish the eggplant had been crispy. Food was brought out quickly! It did take longer to get the check. For dessert, we had the Thai tea mille crêpe cake. The Thai tea flavor and sweetness were both subtle, but it was still enjoyable. The prices are on the higher side, especially for the portion sizes, so it feels more like a date-night restaurant to me. That said, I did see a few groups of families dining there as well.

With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.
