It best Chinese food in HEB, cheap and plenty. Fast service, eggrolls are yummy, best fried rice(combination)

Hell to the NO. I ordered pickup from China Express and, unfortunately, this was a complete waste of my money. I'm big on getting what I pay for when it comes to food, and this experience missed the mark across the board. I ordered the General Tso's chicken extra spicy, two spring rolls, a beef egg roll, and fried rice. First, the General Tso's was nowhere near extra spicy. There was literally no heat to it at all. Instead, it was extremely sweet and tasted more like orange chicken than the General Tso's I was expecting. Then came the spring rolls. When I tell you these things were about the length of a Vienna sausage, I'm not exaggerating. Two tiny spring rolls for around $1.89 felt like a rip-off. The beef egg roll was another $1.89 for one and was about half the size of a regular hot dog link. On top of being small, it was bland. Even the fried rice portion was disappointing. It came in one of those traditional Chinese takeout containers, but basically the smallest size possible. What really sealed the deal was when I called after getting home. I wasn't even calling demanding a refund or trying to argue. I simply told them that, for future reference, my General Tso's wasn't extra spicy and tasted extremely sweet. The response I got was basically, "We forgot to make it extra spicy, but it's spicy." Okay... If you forgot to make it extra spicy, then just say that. There's no need to argue with a customer about what they're literally sitting there eating. Overall, this was a 1-star experience for me. Between the food, tiny portions, value for the money, and the response when I called, I wouldn't return. Save your money and your time. There are too many other Chinese food spots around DFW to feel like you got beat out of your money after dinner. read more

My husband enjoyed the Singapore noodles extra hot. My kung Pao chicken was insipid. I even tried to wake it up in my wok at home. Still dull. The peanuts were white and flabby and no wok hei taste on any of it. Such a disappointment. What are you doing in there? read more

This was some of the best Asian food I've ever had. I got the orange chicken and lo mein, my husband got orange chicken and fried rice and we got chicken lo mein for the kids. Mine and my husband's meals came with beef eggrolls, and they were amazing! The portions are MASSIVE. I'll be eating this meal for the next three days lol read more

I used to come here all time as a kid when it was China dragon. The buffet was amazing and fair pricing, i diner stand why they had to change it, but I do miss it. I would consider this place a round a 3.5. The only thing that really tasted good to me was the orange beef. Fried rice and beef lo mein were just very un flavorful in my opinion. The orange chicken was just not that good as well. The flavor was just OK and wish it had more crisp. My favorite was the appetizer fried shrimp, but I'm not sure what was wrong but the sweet-and-sour sauce was not good. I've been trying to put into words what it taste like, but it just wasn't good. 1. It is priced like most Chinese restaurants but there is zero service. 2. Even if say you want to eat in the restaurant, all you get is a To Go box. You have to get plastic spoon and forks yourself. 3. The toilet is dirty. 4. No one greets you or smiles at you while you are placing the order at the counter- the only time they interact with you. 5. It says ' no minimums' but there is a $5 minimum if you use a credit card. 6. Ambience is non-existent. I guess if you lived near by, you could pick up food to go from here. The food tastes fine. Came during lunch. Got the General Tso Chicken with fried rice. I asked if they could make the chicken EXTRA crispy. The general tso chicken did not disappoint. It was fresh and extra crispy like I asked for and the sauce was delicious. The fried rice was also fresh with nice vegetables in it. The guy that took our order was very friendly and smiled the whole time. You could tell he appreciated our business. The place is very small and has about 4 tables inside. Nothing fancy. Best Chinese food we've had in Euless yet, by FAR! There's a lot of it around and none of it has been good, but China Express broke the trend. We were really craving Chinese food last night and didn't really want to drive a significant distance to pick it up, so we decided we'd give China Express a try. Their web site is super easy to use and allows you to place your order right there, including customizations, payment and selecting a pick-up time. Super convenient. Upon arrival, they had our order all packaged up and ready to roll. We were in and out in less than a minute. We ordered Szechuan Beef, Garlic Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Egg Rolls and Steamed Dumplings. All were fresh and flavorful and the order was put together exactly as ordered (something we can't say about other Chinese restaurants in Euless). It does let you pick your spice level when you order and as a big fan of spicy food, I'd probably go a little hotter next time. The pricing is very reasonable for what they're serving up and their staff is friendly and efficient. We now know where to get take out when it's not a pizza sort of night! read more

Ordered the L12 Lunch Special "to go" which consisted of Sesame Chicken, fried rice, and spring roll. I was very satisfied with the taste and temperature of the food. Temp survived the short trip back to work located off Glade Rd and Hwy 121. Sesame chicken was crispy and had enough sauce. The fried rice was not sticky or pasty and the flavor was good. The spring roll was very delicious, on the smaller side but the entire meal filled me up! I ate all of it and was ready for a nap! Too bad I was at work. Lol. Best in Euless and it's not close, portions are fairly small when it comes to the rice so it might be best to order an extra side of rice. Unless you're health conscious then it's the perfect portion. All in all this is a great Chinese restaurant in Euless and prices are reasonable read more

The Mei Fun noodle is extremely good. I recommend trying both the chicken and the shrimp personally, but regardless of which of the many options available you decide upon, you'll be thankful that you did. If Mei Fun is not your thing then choose from a variety of other delicious freshly made dishes that you will certainly be satisfied and even impressed with. Food aside, the location is easy to find, located next to a laundry, in the same shopping center as Kroger. The dining room is very clean, and you are welcome to dine in. The people that run this restaurant are really good people, friendly, hard working, and committed to serving you a meal that you will miss when it's gone. The Food was decent. I ordered the cashew chicken l, wonton soup, lo mein, and the sugar donuts. The donuts and wonton were amazing. The cashew shrimp and lo mein wasn't bad- just lacked flavor honestly. I understand the no msg thing but imo it helps a lot, or at least some salt/soy sauce. It didn't fit my craving for Chinese food, but it wasn't horrible. Also, they don't use jasmine rice, so it tastes pretty bland/ unauthentic. I ordered the kung pao chicken with white rice. King pao chicken was a 1 star and the white rice was 5stars but I had to meet in the middle which gives this place a 3 star rating. Panda Express has spicier Kung pao chicken than this place... it tastes more like seasoned chicken rather than Kung pao and the main guy who works the counter isn't the friendliest either. Decided to stop in for orange chicken and beef. Small but clean..they serve their chicken in big bites not the small crunchy ones so I didn't have any. We did get orange beef. Semi crunchy with a too sweet sauce compared to others. More sugar than orange. Fried rice was good. Total cost more than others to compare, with less rice, but in all fairness more meat. We have ordered takeout from China Express 3-4 times now. Each time, the food has been delicious, plentiful and well packaged for travel home. Everyone we've dealt with (on the phone or in the restaurant when picking up our meal) has been courteous & accommodating. Even the little boy who occasionally chats at the to go desk is sweet & friendly. This is our go-to Chinese spot now! Their Egg Foo Young has a good amount of meat in each pancake-and the sauce/gravy is rich and delicious! When we get anything with seafood, the amount is generous and packed with flavor. If we get one of the spicy dishes, I just tell them the heat level & it's been just right every time. Give this gem a try!
