Craving hot noodle soup on a rainy day, I finally stopped in to this spot to try their ramen. The inside has casual vibes but cozy feels at the same time. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. With the ramen, you have the option to customize the type of ramen bowl they offer along with different soup bases. I was happy to see they had a garlic ramen with tonkatsu soup option. There's also a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, other noodle dishes, and desserts. They even have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, pancakes and buldak stir-fried noodles. Along with my ramen, I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken karaake. The texture of the meat tasted like a meatball or ground chicken. While I liked the ramen in general, the soup was a bit on the salty side and that's coming from someone who likes her food salty. My friend didn't think so and literally slurped her bowl to the last drop. I will likely return to try other items on the menu, especially with it being so close to home. The food was great! We have been to several ramen restaurants in the Fort Worth area and this one exceeded our expectations. The service was great and extremely friendly. The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. The only other con was the menu is a little difficult to follow so you will probably have lots of questions while your ordering if your not familiar with this type of food. We've gotten food here several times, and it's always great. However, I did have one hiccup when I found a long hair in my ramen several months ago, but to their credit, the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Normally, that kind of thing would make me swear off a restaurant, but since we'd never had an issue before, and because mistakes do happen, I decided to give them another chance. I'm glad I did. The food is genuinely good. The Hoshi Ramen and Chicken Fried Rice are my go-tos, and both always taste fresh and satisfying. The interior feels clean. The food here is a solid 4. It was our first visit and we tried the Yakisoba with tofu and chili oil on the side, Kimchi ramen with pork chashu, and the Korean pancake (vegetable version) as an appetizer. The ramen broth had a good flavor and the pork was tender. It was ordered spicy, and had a good heat level. The Yakisoba was a tad lacking in flavor, but the side of chili oil brightened it up. I suggest getting the kimchi version of the Korean pancake. The vegetable version was cooked perfectly, but did lack flavor. The ambiance is laid back, casual with a small interior. It's decorated cutely. Service was very nice. This place is in a strip mall so you won't have any trouble parking. They do takeout, so I'll return to try other dishes. I noticed a "dessert drink" menu with some pretty decadent looking shakes that I may need to try. read more

I'm a Ramen newb and let Yep lead me and my crew to this Wichita Falls based Ramen chain having a few locations throughout the metroplex and great reviews, which wowed all of us. I was a little leery of the fast food vibe, but the food tasted hot and fresh. I didn't realize that Ramen was so complex. I ordered the Bulgogi beef Ramen with Miso broth. It was fun to mix the different ingredients into individual bites as I made my way through the bowl. We also tried some Egg Rolls that were crispy and delicious. Service was quick and the atmosphere is cozy and fun for a fast food place, not the machine-pressed fiberglass common in large chains. We didn't get to try any of the dessert drinks, but look forward to it on a future visit. Recommended! read more

Great food, good service, and great times If you're looking for a place to have a great bowl of ramen and enjoy some good Japanese and Korean food then I would highly recommend Hoshi. It's kind of a whole in wall place, but it does not disappoint. They have a great selection on their menu and good Asian comfort food. I would highly recommend the Raman and the Korean kimchi pancakes. They are excellent. The pricing is pretty fair and enough so that you can order multiple things off the menu without breaking the bank. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly. My new favorite go-to place for a quick takeout. This is their express location, so they're available on Uber eats and DoorDash. Yes, I'm aware that "ramen" is in their restaurant name, but I was tempted to try other things first; and I'm glad I took that risk. *Cheese tonkatsu: Let's just say they do not skimp on the pork portion of it. Each cutlet didn't have too much batter and had a good chunk of meat. The cheese was not overwhelming at all. My little one enjoyed it as finger food, and he's a picky one. *Bulgogi rice bowl: My favorite dish! Marinated beef on point; probably the best around this area for sure. Good fist-size portion of rice with corn and egg. *Chashu Bun: Surprising tasty. Loved the puffy steam bun paired with pork chashu. *Hoshi ramen: You can pick your own soup base. I went with my usual miso. The broth was flavorful, but not the best I've ever had. *Squid karaage: This is by far the biggest disappointment since everything else tasted so good. Whoever made this overcooked it to the point of no return. The entire thing was crispy burnt. My husband forced himself to try two pieces, and had to throw the rest away. Goodbye $12 for overcooked, inedible appetizer. Hopefully, they improve the way they make this for future customers. Overall, I'm happy this is right down the street. Brand new to the area. The store is bright, clean and inviting for ramen/Japanese fare. They have another location in Keller which is a full service restaurant while this location is their "express" brand. You go to the counter to order then sit whichever table is open. Food is delicious and all came out hot and fresh. Our squid was cooked perfectly. While they are on their soft opening stage, the place is offering 30% off all items. Front staff are helpful when you have any question about an item from the menu. While this location is far from me, it definitely go back if in the area. read more

Tried this place out today. We shared some dishes and my grandson had the kids fried rice. Not sure how they seasoned it but he complained that it was sweet. I think ended up taking my rice and mixing it with his to mellow out the seasoning. My daughter loved her ramen bowl. I was not as happy with the chicken fried rice. The chicken was a little gross. Also lacked flavor. My wife liked the rice but avoided the chicken. So not my favorite. read more

It was a little rough trying to find at first cause the gps takes you to the front plazas but it is apart of the back plazas next to a dog grooming studio. The food was 10/10 delicious! They have coke products which was a big plus! I loved the feeling of the restaurant, it was nice and welcome with soft music in the background. The girl at the counter was very sweet, checked up on us during our visit to see how everything came out. Everything came out pretty fast which I enjoyed. Mostly positive experience, but their online platform has some issues. It declined my order a few times before it when through and it took over 20 minutes for ramen and spring rolls. Not bad but additional time trying to get my order completed online delayed everything. The staff was friendly! I had ordered the spicy tonkatsu broth with chashu ramen and bulgogi spurning rolls. Asked for the spice on the side (as it's usually chili oil), that did not happen, it was VERY spicy, I like heat but having different levels available would be beneficial. The ramen was good, would order it again, however, the spring rolls were $9 for 4 very small pieces. They were just ok flavor wise, but the meat in them is completely obliterated to the texture of paste. Giving 4 's bc of the ramen, skip the spring rolls! read more

Fist time in at the new location. I heard that they had 30% off during their soft opening. We decided to try them out. We have been eagerly waiting! We were greated right away by the friendly staff. The service was quick and friendly. The store is nice and clean with spaced out seating for dine in guests. The prices are very reasonable. Our food came out hot and fresh within 10/15 minutes. I am very delighted that there are Gluten Free noodle options if you would like to swap out the regular ones for an extra $2 which I will gladly pay. Most local ramen shops do not offer this option. Brand new place so the presentation is top tier. We appreciate the warm welcome when we walked in and the open seating was nice. Water at the front readily available is a nice touch. You order at the counter but don't ask the staff, they haven't tried the food. Their options for spice was either yes or no. The bright menus and colorful monitors made it straight forward to decide what we wanted. Our app came out quick but my wife's ramen came with pork even though she had explicitly requested chicken. They were happy to accommodate but it was a bit of an additional wait. My son asked for no corn in his teriyaki bowl and it came with corn anyhow. He didn't want to wait so we scooped it out. THIS is now my go-to ramen spot. You walk into a clean and peaceful restaurant. They play piano Christmas music at the perfect volume. The staff is very friendly. I have to give a shout out to the chef (maybe the owner?). He is the sweetest man! He brings my son and I's food to us with a very welcoming and cheerful spirit. The ramen is delicious. We came this past Sunday with a group of 24 for my sons bday which was half the seats of the restaurant, they we're very attentive to our group! With such a big group our food came out fast, hot and delicious! The waitress and owner were very sweet and even gave all our kids free ice cream.
