Y'all the BEST ramen in DFW
    Jeanine K.

If you're searching for the most authentic ramen experience in DFW, look no further than Ramen Kinatro. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes its craft seriously , rich broths simmered to perfection, springy house-made noodles, and toppings that taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared. What truly sets Ramen Kinatro apart is how authentic the flavors are. The depth of the broth rivals what you'd find in Japan , layered, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Every bowl feels intentional, balanced, and made with pride. It's easily my #1 pick for authentic ramen in the DFW area. If you're in Dallas-Fort Worth and craving real-deal ramen that respects both tradition and diverse dietary preferences, Ramen Kinatro absolutely delivers. It's comforting, flavorful, and welcoming -- everything a great ramen shop should be.

Delicious ramen, and good service as always! Best ramen restaurant in Arlington with good prices

Delicious! With an amazing atmosphere right in the heart of Downtown Arlington, it's hard to tell if you're still in Arlington or Dallas! The service is always wonderful with water placed on your table the second you're sat! The servers are very attentive and willing to have a conversation. The ramen itself though truly takes the cake! The tender meat melts in your mouth while the perfectly looked bamboo has an amazing texture! The broth has the perfect amount of salt and the noodles are cooked just the right amount! I highly suggest you check Kintaro out if you're looking for an intimate ramen dinner!!

AMAZING RAMEN!! Finally some soup with FLAVOR AND SPICE!! Spice is actually spicy (be careful, Carolina reaper is hot) I live in LA and if it was here I would be back asap! Friendly and kind staff. Good atmosphere.

good ramen, I got the Dracula one cause the name drew me in, super garlicky . Ambience was nice though I sat right at the bar and while a small location, you get that rest while the kitchen is busy right in front of you, very cool.

New experience with the self-ordering on the tablets. Speedy service. Friendly staff. The food was delicious, and the portions well served.

I was craving ramen and I found this gem on Yelp! Let's start from the beginning. Upon entry, patrons order their food from the kiosk, which is the traditional Japanese style of ordering food! The karaage is perfectly cooked-the dust of the flour is the chef's kiss , perfectly paired with the Japanese Yuzu mayo and spices! The pan-seared gyoza were okay. I expected boosting flavors, but the texture and taste weren't great! The Tonkatsu ramen was terrific, with a salivating, rich broth! They make their own noodles , and pairing the roasted bamboo with woodear mushrooms was divine! Every bite was pleasurable! I did not get palette fatigue! Tuan Le enjoyed the fresh, filtered water! Not going to lie, it made me think of Kangen water . I forgot to mention that this was the first place to serve textured chopsticks ! Would I dine here again? Absolutely!

    Karashimiso
    Ethan L.

My brother & I had the karashimiso and tonkotsu ramens. Both were delicious and had great flavors; however, if your spice tolerance is on the lower side I would recommend just the regular miso or tonkotsu since the karashimiso does have kicks of spice to it. It is located by UTA, so if you are a student there or just around the Arlington area this is a solid place when you're craving ramen. Parking can also be difficult as there is limited street parking but there is a parking garage nearby you can park at to then walk over to the restaurant. The establishment itself is majority self service. When you enter, kiosks will be seen to your left where you can input and pay for your order. Then take a seat at any table available and a server will bring you water and your utensils. Our food was brought out fairly quick and there was not much wait time. The restaurant itself is decently sized with various size tables to enjoy ramen whether that be by yourself with bar styled seating or tables with a partner, friend, or small group.

Hits the spot! Quick, simple place that fulfills your ramen needs! When you walk in, you order at a kiosk, pretty easy. Seat yourselves wherever, it's small but you have some options such as the counter, tables, & there's even a small area with outdoor seating by the entrance. At the counters they even have outlets all around for you to plug your chargers in, devices, or whatever. Pretty sure it's helpful for all the college kids! We had the Karashi Tonkotsu & Dracula's Bane. The Tonkotsu we choose mild, just enough spice. Dracula's Bane was mine, so flavorful with creamy broth! Both of us agreed that the soft egg was just perfect, the chasu was so tender, & the homemade noodles are superb! I did wish that our dishes were a bit hotter, not pipping hot where you have to wait forever to cool down but it could've been somewhat hotter when it arrived. Water is brought with glasses & a bottle, very convenient. The staff is also amazing! We were greeted instantly upon arrival even though they were pretty busy. The waiter asked if we had been there before, directed us to the kiosk, & explained seating. Chefs were nice too, smiling at the counter. Really wonderful customer service from everyone, they were also quick to get orders out while being attentive to their guests. I highly recommend paying them a visit!

Will for sure be visiting this ramen restaurant again in the future. The ramen here is absolutely delicious, and not too salty like other ramen places I have tried. When you enter, they take orders on an iPad before you get seated. The service is quick and staff is friendly. Interior of the restaurant is vibrant and showcases Japanese art. There is seating at the bar area that is max 30 mins if it is busy. Parking can be found along the street immediately fronting the restaurant. 10/10 recommend!

Great food. Definitely get the soupless ramen. I forgot the name but yeah it's great. So is the takoyaki and fries and karage. Prices are pretty good too.

Are there any gluten-free options here for food?

No, we do not offer GF options.

Do they nickel and dime you like I've heard they do at Omi? I'm used to Salaryman where the egg automatically comes with the ramen.

Though the chef (me! 🤭) is the creator of Oni, Kintaro is a new concept. We opted to do two slices of protein on every ramen, not just the signatute bowls and include a whole egg. We only offer soft boiled eggs, no hard boiled. We also have less…

    Any vegetarian options?

Updated response: We now offer a Vegetarian Curry Ramen. We are currently testing out the broth and will make adjustments to make it available vegan as well. We hope you can come and try it out.

To give credit whete it's due, the thing I liked best about my order (Shoyu broth with pork katsu) is the meat! A lot of ramen places make the meat too chewy that it's hard to swallow, or the texture is off. Itadaki does it perfect; the pork was soft & juicy to my liking. The broth was OK, I expected Shoyu to be "thin soup", but it was too watery in my opinion. Noodles were great! I also find it interesting that unlike many places, if you asked for a cup/glass of water, they provide a free water bottle. Personally I can see myself coming back if I'm with a friend.
