Came here for lunch. Service was good, food was mediocre. I got mango habenero wings and chips and queso with a side of salsa. Salsa is chunky style with no spice and very mild in flavor. Queso was also thick. Wings were saucy but generic mango habenero flavor. Maybe better if requested well done for a little caramelized crisp. read more

Unfortunately this is probably the worst food I've had. My wife and I were in the area and she wanted Mexican. I wanted to go to Oliva's which is connected to this place and always has EXCELLENT food. My wife and I both had the chicken enchiladas (hard to mess up, right?). Meat was dry, sauce was bland. Worst part is we placed our order and finally after 30 minutes went to cashier to just get refund. Our food had been in warmer. I have been a customer for over 10 years. Yesterday was truly the worst service I've had there. There were maybe 4 other tables seated when we went in. The service was slow, drinks were not refilled in a timely manner, waitstaff was too busy talking to each other to provide good customer service. The enchiladas were only half rolled and the filling was piled on the plates under a mound of cream sauce. The food was good, but the presentation was not up to their usual standards. The waiter brought the check, took the plates and disappeared. We were paying cash, so I left cash for the meal and tip on the table. As we were walking on the sidewalk in front, our server opened the door and yelled loudly "Are you going to pay?!" I was momentarily stunned and said cash is on the table. He turned yelling across the restaurant is there cash on the table? We waited on the sidewalk for the server inside to acknowledge that yes the bill was paid for. Our server quietly said I apologize and went back inside. This was unprofessional behavior. Quite frankly this is how you lose regular customers. When Justin is not in house, some are too busy socializing with each other to provide decent customer service. read more

My family really enjoys eating here. It is so easy to place your online order and they will bring it to your car when you get there. This is really helpful when you don't want to get kids out of the car! My husband decided to try something new tonight. The Andres special is chicken breast covered in either mushroom sauce or fajita peppers and onions. We asked for both and got both. He really enjoyed it. The chicken was a touch dry but not too bad. Great go to for a quick and easy lunch! This place is always a go to for lunch before I go grocery shopping at Kroger next door. This is definitely like a Fuzzy's type experience where you order at the counter and then the waitress brings you your food. I always get queso and cheese enchiladas, my husband mixes it up more but overall everything we've had has been good. The food needs a little salt but overall the vibe, atmosphere and food all match. Let me start off by saying we went to this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with the outcomes. We initially thought it was more of a sit down restaurant but it was a little weird with the booths and such. However, as we started to order our food we came to the realization that this restaurant was not a chain and were supper excited to taste the food. The food was really good, my daughter devoured her enchiladas whilst my wife and I ate the street tacos as well as the Elote. The Elote was good and in one of my pictures you can see what looks like a black substance. This was I believe called crazy chillis, it's a must try. We added it to our chips, Elote and queso. My wife plans to go back on Monday as they have half priced margaritas all day on Monday. We even got to meet the owner, he was super nice and shared the vision of some changes coming to the restaurant. He plans to put a full bar in a change some of the seating, I think once he does that he will for sure get a 5 from me. Keep up the great work Jason, we will be back! read more

So, I've eaten at this place before. The enchiladas are to die for, especially the chicken ones. I havent tried anything else so I'm not able to speak on more, but guess what I can speak on, .... the margaritas!!! Did you know they do this thing called Margarita Mondays and you can get them every Monday for 1/2 off? Yes..every single Monday. These margaritas are special, I mean they look like juice, but not at all taste that way. They're amazing and this is coming from a professional margarita drinker. We didn't eat in so I don't know about the ambiance or service. Everything we've ordered there has been delicious with the exception of the fajitas that had a good flavor but the meat was dry and it wasn't my favorite guacamole but was okay. I highly recommend the fish taco on corn tortillas, the spicy braised beef enchiladas covered in queso and the shredded chicken enchiladas were good too. The Mexican corn is delicious. read more

Pretty sure the beef taquitos are the same ones you find frozen at Walmart. The chicken ones seemed homemade, but were bland. I've had enough of the frozen ones, plus it didn't look anything like the chicken ones. Super disappointing... I would much rather have been told they were out or something that been served this. I hope the owners aren't using the same strategy at the Italian place across the street, because I love the food there. To walk up on this place, you won't be all that impressed. A small little storefront restaurant, but go inside and give it a shot! You'll not regret it. You will walk in to a stand up counter where you will give your order before spilling down. Not many frills to this place, but not a hole in the wall either. The star of the show is the food! Our go to are the steak street tacos which are fresh and delicious! If you do Keto, try the Bare-ito bowls, basically everything you want in a burrito without the tortilla! I deliver for Uber Eats. I was hungry and wanted supper, so came here for nachos and elotes. Of course started with the elotes and it was very bland. Mayo, corn, chili powder, cheese, and a lime. First, the lime was in the container with the elotes, so a bit messy to get and could barely taste anything, except corn. Chili powder was flavorless and had no heat to it (i like spicier food lol). This was especially disappointed by a place, literally called "elote," so i expected more flavor. Second was the nachos. The flavor was good and of course i smothered it in hot sauce (salsa comes with it and the spiciest hot sauce from a table). The downside was the chips. They are way too thin for nachos..might be good with salsa or guacamole, but when eating nachos, the chips aren't supposed to break so easily that have to eat with a fork. At least these tasted good, though and the jalapenos with the spicier habanero hot 3 sauce had a nice kick which redeemed it a little read more

Outside of the service, nothing about this establishment is redeemable. The owner seemed sweet but the food is absolutely disgusting. The burrito was dry and flavorless, the tacos were alright but the salsa was gag worthy, and to top it all off the queso was bland and unseasoned and the guac was all onion. I've never been anywhere where they manage to mess up the basics as badly as they do here. It's a disappointment and a testament to the whitewashing of authentic Mexican food. I decided to up the stars for Elote. Dined in again, and really appreciate the simplicity of the menu. It's a nice family owned restaurant and there aren't too many of those around anymore with the major chains popping up. We had the nachos pequeno (small) which is big enough for two people to share. While I was eating these I realized how these nachos were not greasy and oily like other nachos I have had before. We also had the Elote special. Roasted Corn in a cup with mayo, cheese, chili powder, and lime. Delicious. I liked it a lot and will return again. Summer corn is always good.
