I've tried this place three times and that's three to many. Needs to close ASAP. Go anywhere else for anything.

Management is terrible to say the least! No customer service at all! Very rude and Shady! They'll take zero responsibility for their lack of irresponsibility in keeping up good maintenance for their filthy, C-Store! I'm truly surprised the city of Southlake hasn't shut them down being in the heart of SL! There's absolutely nothing "MAGICal" about this TEXACO! Should be shut down, inspected, investigate or cited for negligence! Bottom line ... ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Far be it from me to try to damage a local small business...but unfortunately, I feel the need to inform others about the Texaco station at White Chapel & SLB. This is my third bad experience there. The other day I went to pump gas at Pump 10. Since there are stickers on the pumps from the Fire Marshall that say the lock mechanisms are to be removed due to potential dangers, I did not use the lock. (As an aside, the station is under order to remove them but they have not done so on all the pumps). So I held the pump on manually. It was VERY slow to pump, so after a while I was no longer looking at it, just holding it & looking around to pass the time. Suddenly gas poured out all over my legs, shoes, side of my car & the ground. After this incident, I went inside to inform the man behind the counter of the pump's malfunction. His response was not an apology but instead an accusation in a rude tone "did you read the sign about the locks, you aren't supposed to use them". My first thought, although I did not say it, is 'yes, I read it, but obviously YOU did not b/c you failed to comply with the Fire Marshall's order'. I told him I did not use it, that I was holding it manually & it never clicked or stopped. It just starting spraying out & did not shut off immediately when I let go of the handle. His response was "it stops by itself when you are holding it". I told him it did not! I told him it was all over my legs, my car, & dangerously the ground. Not to mention that I paid for that gas. His response was no apology. He just showed me the receipt & said you used 'this much gas'. The only other thing he said was you can use the bathroom to wipe off your legs. Please be careful. There was so much gas on the outside of the car that the smell remained on my car, even after hosing it down. I could not park it in the garage b/c you could smell it just by walking near it in my driveway. The inside of the car smelled also after getting inside to drive home. The clean up was a pain, so I don't want anyone else to deal with it. I will definitely drive the distance to other locations since this man does not deserve the business. Before this happened, I was unhappy with the place anyway: no receipts printed each time; person inside was rude; the equipment is faulty, etc. BTW: I posted this on local FB page & many, many people posted similar or worse experiences.

When I stopped at 1612 hours I was accosted by the foulest crotchety old woman who must have a candy house in the woods with an oven big enough for a couple of children. I asked a few questions about how to use a gift card that was given to me and her head opened and the sounds from the bowels of a place below us came out and growled don't you know what is on it. You have to tell me what is on it before you can use it to buy fuel. It was a gift card, so I had no idea what was on it. So I ran screaming into the night, it wasn't really night. But who says runs into the mid afternoon? So off I ran to the safety of my vehicle and the multitudes of persons to protect me in case she needed to fill that oven. I found a safe place to fuel my vehicle down the road where the employees were very friendly. So I bought a cookie and a brownie. And neither tasted like a Girl Scout or her younger sister the brownie. So think twice about the time you visit this location for fuel or corn nuts or a slurpee.

Anyway, I had one more stop to make on the way home, at the Home Depot in close proximity to this 7-Eleven. After leaving Home Depot I was parched. I spied this 7-Eleven and decided to get a cool, sweet, adult beverage. There was a great selection of flavored malt beverages in the the really big cans, so I picked two out that sounded good (Twisted Tea and some sort of non-Mike's hard lemonade). As I was paying the clerk behind the counter said both of these are pretty good and there's also a Twisted Half & Half that is tea and lemonade. "Sounds good!" I say and make a mental note of this for next time. Lastly I ask if there is a cup I can have, and maybe some ice, expecting to pay for it of course. Not only is the cup and ice gratis, but I can even take a BIG cup, full of ice, so I can sip my beverages incognito. Thanks 7-Eleven!
