Came here because I'd never seen crème brûlée on an AYCE sushi spot menu. It was on the sweeter side but still good. The other dessert options were really appealing/interesting. Got there right as dinner started on a Friday, maybe 5 minutes earlier actually so it was quiet and peaceful. Seaweed salad was okay, so were the other hot apps we had. The spicy tuna and salmon nigiri does actually have a kick to it, especially the tuna. Liked it. Loved the salmon sashimi, and cold apps from the menu. The fish was cold since they put it on ice, and we had no issues with freshness. I think this was a very good AYCE sushi spot for the price of dinner being $32.99. We had no idea this place was here! Luckily, the Saturday we went, it wasn't busy and we were seated immediately at a cozy booth by a window. The owner came over and talked with us and is so nice. Service was fantastic. Checking in regularly to see if we were ready for another order but not constant or overbearing. We also liked how they brought dishes close together and nothing was ever missed (which we've had happen at other AYCE places where you order). Sashimi was AYCE and everything was really fresh. We also liked that the rolls come in smaller orders so we could sample the wide variety of rolls. We tried a lot of their cold appetizers and they were all great. Save room for dessert. Service 5 star, food and fish quality just run of the mill all you can eat, there is no difference between what you can order on lunch vs evening. So lunch 22.99 vs dinner 32.99. I'm leaning toward quality is more the lunch price. Miso soup tasted not like anything I've had before (not in a good way), it was much darker and just felt different, the sashimi was paper thin, couldn't really catch the flavor of the fish. Came here on a visit with my son. I really like this place. I had the all you can eat sushi which was very reasonably priced. The Salmon Lovers and The Russian were excellent! I finished it off with the Creme Brûlée. It was a fantastic meal after traveling all day. And before I forget, the staff was wonderful. Our waitress Hannah was wonderful and very attentive. Had lunch here, it wasn't too busy as more than half the restaurant was empty. Four to five were at the hostess stand, they confused as how to seat an odd number of people. A nice serving size without skimping on calamari. - Potato croquette, nice crunch! - Various sushi, it was fine. - Fried rice was good, they were accommodating in making one with no vegetables for our picky eater. - Chicken karage... slightly overcooked. Our waitress seemed to be the only one on our side of the restaurant, she had about four or five tables maybe, other staff members did help being out the food. That being said I had to ask for a water refill three times, only got a refill once. I don't believe it's her fault, she just needed more help. Dishes come out hot, fresh, & fast. I do appreciate that the oil isn't dirty/overused for fried items. They were a light golden brown with a nice crunch & the batter stays on. Still needs improvement for staff support & training but I do want to say that everyone was extremely pleasant. The interior is beautiful inside & the price is fair. First time here! My friend told me its really good and decided to bring me. We were seated right away. Our waiter was quick and ready to serve us. We ordered 2 drinks. One is called tokyo mizu and other one is Sakura blossom I believe. Very refreshing and fragrant. We looked at the menu and ordered a few appetizers and then sushi. You can order anything on the menu from appetizers to sushi to soup and dessert all for a good price and you definitely will be full by the end of it. We were also celebrating our anniversary in a brand-new place, and my partner found Tokyo Mizu online. From the moment we walked in, the ambience instantly reminded us of home. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and we were seated right away. Our server, Maggie, gave us the best service we've had since moving to Texas -- friendly, quick, and so personable. She even teamed up with my partner to surprise me with a plate decorated with "Happy Anniversary." It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our night extra special! And the food... wow. Everything was incredible! Our favorites were the Tuna Tartare, Chicken Katsu, Dancing Eel, Fried Mantou (with vanilla ice cream), and Fried Gyoza. Each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. Went here last night before going to the Eagles concert because of the good reviews. Outside of the building is not well maintained Weeds and trash in front of the building. They give you a choice of all you can eat sushi or ala carte. My wife and I chose the all you can eat. What they don't tell you is they have a food waste fee. Not until after we had ordered several rolls did the server say that it was $5 for each one you did not finish. I have never heard of this. This place was a nice 4 stars at first. We really enjoyed the food and service. We came in on a Saturday for lunch. The place was pretty much dead inside with only one or two tables seated. The waitress told us lunch ayce was half portions which was prefect since we like to try a good variety. The food was a little slow to come out but the overall flavor and freshness was delightful. The problem arose when she told us our total. Initially she stated it was the lunch price total which seemed fair since it was lunch time. $50 for two people. After she took our card and ran it, she said she told us the wrong price and that the bill was actually $77 for dinner prices. This wasn't disclosed on the menu or website and even the waitress didn't know until the last minute. I can see why it was so dead in there. It felt like such a bait and switch. The restaurant was super cute and the four of us were seated very quickly at around 7:30 PM on Friday and service was really good. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they said the manager wasn't there and didn't know how to handle it. When I spoke with the manager, he immediately tried to say the hair was probably mine instead of addressing the issue. Had the opportunity to check out this wonderful concept of an AYCE made to order sushi bar. When we entered, we were immediately felt welcome and invited by the host and hostess. The $30 per person dinner option is excellent in terms of the variety of options that we could possibly order. The only thing you have to pay extra for is for the beverages. The ambiance was very well captured to define what Tokyo dining is. The look was very clean and I felt like I was in a traditional setting. I was quickly brought back and reminded I was in America with the American pop music playing throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was very sweet however she wasn't very well versed in the menu because we would ask her what to recommend if we liked certain things and she couldn't give an answer. However she was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately a lot of the sashimi wasn't available for us to order like the red snapper or scallop but the others were presented nicely on a bowl of ice and tasted very fresh. The hot appetizers were very delicious and I was thankful for the smaller portion size so we wouldn't be overstuffed before getting any of the main entrees. The highlights were the xiao long bao soup dumplings and the beef bulgogi bao bun. I wouldn't recommend the crispy calamari because it was very batter heavy with minimal squid. The cold appetizers were very good. I enjoyed the fish salad as well as the Hamachi jalapeno and the black pepper tuna Tataki. The restaurant wasn't very crowded (maybe a little less than half) but the sushi kitchen was very backed up. It look an extremely long time for us to get our sushi rolls but the hot and cold appetizers came out fairly quick. I'd imagine in a packed house that there may be some disgruntled diners waiting hangrily for their sushi to come out. Overall the flavors are fantastic for the price point. Went her before a concert and it was dead which was perfect but also confusing bc they were great. Maybe we were early to dinner rush. We got the AYCE which for me is almost pointless since I don't eat too terribly much but it's a good deal. I really appreciated that the portions we so small each round bc I was able to try and order so many different things rather than fill up on one roll immediately as I have done before. Place is super cute and really close to AT&T stadium so it's perfect if you're trying to avoid the Texas live crowds. Decided to try this location after driving by it several times a week since my office is down the street. It's large inside with a lot of seating. When we arrived for lunch it wasn't busy at all. After 15 minutes or so others did come in to eat. The lunch menu for the all you can eat is good but limited. It's not as large a selection as the other all you can sushi place we go to. Tho the sushi we did get was good. It's not covering in sauces to excess, so this allows tasting the fish, which is what we really like. One thing I did notice on the lunch menu, is probably 90% of the rolls were various varieties of the California Roll. They use a lot of Crab Salad meats, so the inside of the rolls for the most part don't have the fish on the inside, it's draped on top. Either way, it's still good and for the price at lunch, it's really a good deal for all you can eat. read more

For lunch u get ayce 19.99 No sashimi and you can select up to 10 items at a time. If you're a big sushi person this place isn't the place to go. They give u half options of sushi rolls. If you're with someone else order double so you can get your full roll. It also feels like a lot of them were just fusion sushi rolls you never had like random. As far as nigiri it's so warm. Not what you expected. I'm normally a sashimi person but the guy didn't tell us you won't be able to order it till dinner we left after second round of food. Too much rice dishes and random dishes. A lot of improvement is needed here... The experience was truly unremarkable. Went here for dinner since we were in the area but as an AYCE sushi, this place falls short. They have a great selection on the menu, but the ordering and portions are insanely limited compared to any other AYCE place. The half rolls/portions are a decent idea to allow you to try more, but it should be an option rather than mandatory because waiting for 15 min for your food to come out only to have it be 4 pieces of a size of a kids roll is not satisfying. The rolls & sashimi cuts are all very small and about half the size and thickness of other places.. super disappointing. Even if it is AYCE and you can just order more, it should still be a proper cut. The nigiri is even worse, the fish to rice ratio was 90% fish and 10% rice, with the rice being over vinegar-ed. A lot of the appetizers are buried within lettuce and just so, so tiny. It is truly like a bite of food for each item when you order. It is hard to leave an AYCE hungry, but regrettably that is what happened. For this price and quality, you are able to get your money's well worth at many other places. The baos & dumplings were probably the best thing we ordered. The service was friendly and the interior was cute and ambient so that was a plus. However, I cannot say I would return here. read more

Although my one thing I would be critical about is the servings are small. You do get to choose 5 items each round but with the small servings, we had quite a bit of pauses in between finishing our servings and waiting to get another round in. My family and friends are big eaters and we mean business when hitting the AYCE spots. We really felt like we were piling more dishes and servers having to scramble and make multiple trips unnecessarily. If the servings were a little bit more hearty, it slow down the frequency of ordering the same dish just to satisfy one's pallet to a particular dish.
