I decided to try Sushi Go the other day because I had read the good reviews, and it's right by my house. Ordered the Candy Cane roll and escolar sashimi. Came out to be about $27 after tax. Went to pick it up. Got 8 small bites of sushi, and 3 thin slices of sashimi. Plus, when I went in to pick it up, I asked for extra wasabi, and the girl told me next time I needed to write it in the notes when i ordered it. Okay well, there won't be a next time. Was it really that hard to give me the extra wasabi when I asked? Felt unwelcome. Overpriced and served with extra attitude. No thanks. read more

The sushi here is always delicious--no complaints about the service. The ambiance is okay, but it's a to-go sushi place, so it's not an issue. I have never been anywhere else in Arlington because there is no need when Sushi Go meets my needs. I don't get the bento boxes or poke bowls because they specialize in sushi. SUSHI GO IS AMAZING! Golden Philly is the only thing I can get while pregnant right now (I always get one order while not pregnant anyway) but it is so close to home, they have great wings and fries, I love getting sushi and fries!!! OMG this is one of my favorite sushi spots in Arlington. It's fresh and the beet rice adds a nice touch to the entire experience

Was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. Their rice is pink for whatever reason but it doesn't bother me. We ordered quite a few of their rolls between the regular and specialty- my two favourites were the Lion King and Superman, both priced at $8.95 - which for a speciality roll - you can't beat that price. The place is predominantly take out (which we did) and delivery but they do have seating in the restaurant as well. We called ahead and our order took around half an hour to be ready. I don't mind waiting for fresh sushi and I believe it's just a one man operation. We will mostly likely be back, it's not a usual area of Arlington we go to, but for sushi, see you soon. read more

"Sushi Go" is 8 minutes walk from home! Lucky me! During the pandemic, they only take "to-go" orders or delivery. There are only three tables. I waited in my car. I ordered a Yakuza bowl, an Ahi Tower bowl, a Sushi Combo No. 1, and a bowl of miso soup. I didn't need the Ahi Tower. But I was curious what everyone was raving about. Everything was delicious. And fresh (the wait was worth it). The pink color in the rice puts some people off, but it tasted good. My wife had the Yakuza bowl. I had the Ahi Tower. They were both superb. I chose tuna and salmon for the Sushi Combo. It tasted fresher than most sushi places. The ginger and wasabi were fresh. But what surprised us was the miso soup. In our opinion, you can't get finer tasting miso soup. There are so many positive reviews before mine. I agree with them. When the pandemic is over, they deserve a larger dining space. They might have to rename the place. In the meantime, the 5-minute drive is a happy one. read more

This is the best little hidden gem in our neighborhood for sushi & at a great price. We've ordered for pickup several times & the soft shell crab & salmon that I've tried have been delicious. Fresh & two ate for under $30. This is basically a pick up & carry out although they do have a couple of tables if you would like to stay. Only a couple of drink options & no fountain type drinks. Love to try out new restaurants around town and when I drove past this new sushi joint in a small strip mall I pass from time to time, I definitely had to try! Plenty of parking and the restaurant is fairly small as expected. Obviously, "to-go". The menu is a good size, lots of speciality roles for only $7.95, you can't beat that!! On my first visit I had Fire Dragon Roll and Red River Roll. Both were pretty good for the price and my favorite between both of these was the Fire Dragon. Man it had a huge kick of spice when even only rated a 1 spicy level. Perfect for those who want a zing but not overly spicy where you can't even taste the fish. Oh and don't be scared of the purple "beet infused" rice. You don't taste the beets. Sorry, Dwight. The only draw back is the wait time (not busy at all the time I went) maybe because the place is new and only had 1 sushi preparer. The sushi is good, some of the best in the city; but today I attempted to get a free hot green tea as advertised right here on Yelp, but they refused to honor it. I believe if it's advertised on their page, and the page generates revenue, ie: my order totaling $24.68, then Stop being so tight wadded and give me the tea. Most tea offered in restaurants aren't even top shelf quality; they're equivalent to what's found in Walmart. It's not like $1.25 of a cup of green tea will break the bank. Pretty new place close to home. I like the area because it's not so busy. There's a junior high across the street and some small businesses next door. But hopefully my review helps this sushi place more pleasant traffic. I had the Elvis roll and Ranger roll. I thought they were a bit heavily drizzled with eel and sriracha mayo sauce, for my taste, but they were delicious. Actually the Elvis roll was perfectly made and well-balanced. The seared fish on that roll was perfect, almost beefy textured but melted in your mouth. The Ranger roll had a kick to it but not over-powering. All rolls were little cheaper than your average sushi place but high quality ingredients and great temperature when served. I guess they specialize on to go orders but you can eat there comfortably, as well. I was about to leave, then I noticed their Asian snack section. I saw the fish ice cream I loved experiencing in college, only found in a Korean market in Austin. But I think they're more available now, like at H-Mart. I'll return to have another quiet lunch and try their basic rolls then. Also, not sure if this is seasonal or limited-time, but they cook their rice with beet juice and gives a pink color, but I didn't notice the flavor. They said it helps add nutritional benefits to the rice. I'm down with that. They have wings now! Tender and crispy. Wish the flavors had more pop or seasoning to them, but they were satisfying. What a great little find right in the middle of our neighborhood. My wife and I were looking for some sushi and we weren't sure we would find a good spot but Sushi Go really didn't disappoint. We ordered some potstickers, sashimi and a couple of rolls too. The Cry Baby 2 roll was great as was the yellow fin and salmon sashimi. My wife got the Arlington roll. She really liked that as well although it was not to my taste. Potstickers were also really nice. The service was fast, friendly and personal. I really liked the comfortable chilled out vibe in the restaurant. I will be back here regularly! The price was also very reasonable with most rolls around the $8 mark. They offer a lot of different rolls, we ended up ordering a few between us; Eel Roll, Spicy Tuna and some specialty rolls, Fire Dragon, Superman and Lion King. We both agreed Lion King was our favorite. The rice is pink, which doesn't really bother me either way. Our rolls were made fresh, we called ahead for to-go and it took about 30 mins for them to be prepared. The rolls are a considerably less than other places in the area, regular rolls are $5-7 and speciality are all $9. I think I'll definitely be coming back here when I'm itching for some sushi. Tried this place for the first time last week and I will definitely be back! I was glad to see they were doing takeout only, and the staff present had gloves and masks. It made me feel safe about picking up food! The food was great: I got a sushi roll and an order of salmon nigiri and white tuna nigiri. I was impressed by the quality of the fish and am glad to have such a tasty sushi place nearby. My partner also got a roll as well as the chicken fried rice, and the fried rice was also impressive and delicious. The sushi rolls we got were also both quite good. The reviews looked descent on this place so while visiting the area we decided to grab to go. There poke bowls are OVERPRICED EXPENSIVE. I asked if we could remove the spicy crab and tuna and substitute the tuna for more salmon. They acted as though no one had ever asked for a change. They also said the spicy mayo would be an additional charge. The fried rice we ordered was way over flavored with teriyaki sauce and the chicken was very dry and rubbery. We have poke often and this was by far the most expensive and the taste was OK. The cashier wore a mask and no one could understand what she was saying, so she got louder which was just a louder muffled sound. We won't be back. Sad, because I think with minor improvements with better pricing they would be good. But with the attitude and mask, I doubt it will happen. As far as ambiance it is small, smells and the ice cream freezer has a big sign saying out of service. read more

I stumbled upon this restaurant when some of my friends decided to throw a rainbow food party. Each person got a color and we have to provide food that color. I was very unlucky and drew the color pink. I was super excited when I found this restaurant but became greatly disappointed upon arrival. I called in a phone order and asked many questions about the rice being pink before ordering and was told yes the rice is pink. So after paying for the food I realized the rice isn't pink as advertised. So I explained to them my dilemma, that I came to this location specifically because of the pictures. The chef then stated the rice wouldn't be pink because the color fades over time. The only rice that is pink like the pictures is when the rice is fresh. So I asked the chef for solutions, he was very dismissive and defensive. I ended up leaving with a refund, irritated and looking for another solution for my party food. I also left with many questions such as...how often does this restaurant make rice?....If the color has faded to the point of the rice being white, when did he make the rice? If you are looking for somewhere to go that has good customer service and makes their food fresh daily, you might want to skip this location. read more

Pretty darn good Sushi for a small neighborhood restaurant. The rice is beet infused and a pretty pink color. The rolls and Sashimi are made with the freshest fish.
