SUSHI GO IS AMAZING! Golden Philly is the only thing I can get while pregnant right now (I always get one order while not pregnant anyway) but it is so close to home, they have great wings and fries, I love getting sushi and fries!!! Their candy cane roll is great too!!! Haven't had a bad thing from here, more people need to try it but it's easy to miss, right next to CVS.

Sushi Go is one of those rare restaurants that when the pandemic hit their food got better... There's sushi and their Rice dishes are very tasty, and they're always fresh. They're still not opening the dining room, but they do delivery and take out and they are very tasty...

Was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. Their rice is pink for whatever reason but it doesn't bother me. We ordered quite a few of their rolls between the regular and specialty- my two favourites were the Lion King and Superman, both priced at $8.95 - which for a speciality roll - you can't beat that price. The place is predominantly take out (which we did) and delivery but they do have seating in the restaurant as well. We called ahead and our order took around half an hour to be ready. I don't mind waiting for fresh sushi and I believe it's just a one man operation. We will mostly likely be back, it's not a usual area of Arlington we go to, but for sushi, see you soon.

"Sushi Go" is 8 minutes walk from home! Lucky me! During the pandemic, they only take "to-go" orders or delivery. There are only three tables. I waited in my car. I ordered a Yakuza bowl, an Ahi Tower bowl, a Sushi Combo No. 1, and a bowl of miso soup. I didn't need the Ahi Tower. But I was curious what everyone was raving about. Everything was delicious. And fresh (the wait was worth it). The pink color in the rice puts some people off, but it tasted good. My wife had the Yakuza bowl. I had the Ahi Tower. They were both superb. I chose tuna and salmon for the Sushi Combo. It tasted fresher than most sushi places. The ginger and wasabi were fresh. But what surprised us was the miso soup. In our opinion, you can't get finer tasting miso soup. There are so many positive reviews before mine. I agree with them. When the pandemic is over, they deserve a larger dining space. They might have to rename the place. In the meantime, the 5-minute drive is a happy one.

Love to try out new restaurants around town and when I drove past this new sushi joint in a small strip mall I pass from time to time, I definitely had to try! Plenty of parking and the restaurant is fairly small as expected. Obviously, "to-go". The menu is a good size, lots of speciality roles for only $7.95, you can't beat that!! On my first visit I had Fire Dragon Roll and Red River Roll. Both were pretty good for the price and my favorite between both of these was the Fire Dragon. Man it had a huge kick of spice when even only rated a 1 spicy level. Perfect for those who want a zing but not overly spicy where you can't even taste the fish. Oh and don't be scared of the purple "beet infused" rice. You don't taste the beets. Sorry, Dwight. The only draw back is the wait time (not busy at all the time I went) maybe because the place is new and only had 1 sushi preparer. If you were in a rush definitely call ahead your order 20 minutes or so. If you want fresh sushi, fairly priced, and live local, it's a MUST try.

The sushi is good, some of the best in the city; but today I attempted to get a free hot green tea as advertised right here on Yelp, but they refused to honor it. I believe if it's advertised on their page, and the page generates revenue, ie: my order totaling $24.68, then Stop being so tight wadded and give me the tea. Most tea offered in restaurants aren't even top shelf quality; they're equivalent to what's found in Walmart. It's not like $1.25 of a cup of green tea will break the bank. I little goodness goes a long way because customers feel the warmth in something as simple as a cup of tea; it's the gesture that counts. Thanks for making great sushi...

Fantastic sushi. Just really good quality stuff. Nice staff. This is my 5th time getting to go orders from here. Awesome every time. The beet infused rice is actually less sweet than typical sushi rice in my opinion. It's phenomenal. Spoke to the two people working tonight when I went in to place my order. They can't open for dine in because staff shortages. Unfortunate! Wishing them luck. Go support them if you can.

Pretty new place close to home. I like the area because it's not so busy. There's a junior high across the street and some small businesses next door. But hopefully my review helps this sushi place more pleasant traffic. I had the Elvis roll and Ranger roll. I thought they were a bit heavily drizzled with eel and sriracha mayo sauce, for my taste, but they were delicious. Actually the Elvis roll was perfectly made and well-balanced. The seared fish on that roll was perfect, almost beefy textured but melted in your mouth. The Ranger roll had a kick to it but not over-powering. All rolls were little cheaper than your average sushi place but high quality ingredients and great temperature when served. I guess they specialize on to go orders but you can eat there comfortably, as well. I was about to leave, then I noticed their Asian snack section. I saw the fish ice cream I loved experiencing in college, only found in a Korean market in Austin. But I think they're more available now, like at H-Mart. I'll return to have another quiet lunch and try their basic rolls then. Also, not sure if this is seasonal or limited-time, but they cook their rice with beet juice and gives a pink color, but I didn't notice the flavor. They said it helps add nutritional benefits to the rice. I'm down with that. They have wings now! Tender and crispy. Wish the flavors had more pop or seasoning to them, but they were satisfying. Lots of flavor choices too! Thank you for expanding the menu a bit more.

What a great little find right in the middle of our neighborhood. My wife and I were looking for some sushi and we weren't sure we would find a good spot but Sushi Go really didn't disappoint. We ordered some potstickers, sashimi and a couple of rolls too. The Cry Baby 2 roll was great as was the yellow fin and salmon sashimi. My wife got the Arlington roll. She really liked that as well although it was not to my taste. Potstickers were also really nice. The service was fast, friendly and personal. I really liked the comfortable chilled out vibe in the restaurant. I will be back here regularly! The price was also very reasonable with most rolls around the $8 mark. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

First time eating here. The menu prices looked promising and worth a try but when we arrived the menu prices have increased by at least $2. We decided to try it out anyways. I did not previously read the reviews so when I discovered the rice was pink I was surprised. I wasn't expecting it and it did not have an appetizing appeal. The flavored beet juice rice was not what made the sushi taste unpleasant. The sushi lacked necessary flavor and fish. The California roll contained imitation crab. The rolls were small and bite sized. The aftertaste of the sushi was also unpleasant. I would not recommend anyone to try this place. I'm not sure why so many people have left a 5 star review, but I will not be returning. The $42 that I spent on this sushi was definitely not worth it. read more

I just absolutely love this place. I order delivery from there at least once a week, sometimes more. Since I don't eat seafood, I always get the avocado rolls. They let you modify by adding cream cheese, crunch, etc. Recently friends from out of town ordered two of their other rolls with seafood and declared them delicious. Don't be surprised or nervous about the purple rice! It doesn't change the taste at all! The fried rice is AMAZING too. I prefer the veggie fried rice which comes with onions, broccoli, and carrots. The portion is huge and can leave leftovers for days. Customer service has always been wonderful. They leave kind notes on the boxes of food and have even called me personally to verify a change in my normal order. Sushi Go is just an all around delicious, friendly place! Definitely give it a try! read more

Spent $80 on possibly 6 rolls and an appetizer. Brought it home and the party of 6 were very pleased. Not a single drop of rice nor sliver of fish were left uneaten. Very quick and easy ordering along with friendly staff. read more

I went looking for a new sushi restaurant that was near me and stumbled upon Sushi Go. I really enjoyed their sushi. It's fresh and their are awesome specialty rolls to choose from. I recommend the Lion King Roll and Crab Lover Roll. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return to this place in the future. Anyone looking for good sushi in the south Arlington area should check them out! read more

Sushi Go is my go to place for all of my Sushi. It is fresh and the best tasting. I always get the Poke Bowl and there is A LOT, almost enough for two meals. Take Out Only, so order ahead. Because it is so fresh and made to order, it takes a while, so give yourself plenty of time. The prices may be on the higher end for Sushi, but so worth it! read more

Damn. This place is legit. I got the Dynamite roll, Cry Baby 2 roll, and Cowboys roll, salmon nigiri, and fried rice. I was surprised at how delicious every single thing was - every bite was *chefs kiss* amazing. The folks behind the counter were very nice. The prices are just right. Our first time here and it was actually pretty good. The pink rice makes your brain think twice but I didn't taste a difference in regular white rice. The rolls are a healthy size and we enjoyed the crab lovers roll and the caterpillar rolls. Thanks GoSushi! We will be back soon. read more

They must be hurting financially. The portions are smaller, and the sushi / sashimi didn't taste very fresh. Also, they subbed eel, which i threw away. It's a shame because this was a unique idea with the beet rice. Even the rice tasted second day. Disappointed. I ordered Uber eats at 4:00 pm, arrived at 5:30. Driver said they were disorganized. read more

There are so many good sushi places in the area that I had high hopes but they weren't quite met. We came in around 6:30 for dinner and it was packed. There are only 6-7 tables so they fill up fast. It emptied out just as quickly though. The tables remained dirty up to half an hour after people left them and we had to point out that ours still had the previous occupants used plate and drink. It took about 50 minutes to get our food. Everything was overly sweet. I know it's common among Americanized sushi but this was over the top. I couldn't really taste the fish and spice how i usually do in sushi because of the overwhelming sugar. We got three rolls and tested them all but they all kind of lacked in flavor and were really sweet. It wasn't just the sauce either. The rice and all just took away from the star of sushi: the fillings, the fish and veg. There were only two employees so I'd imagine it's really difficult for them to keep up when it gets busy but I at least expected a better roll after almost an hour. read more

Visiting from the west coast and decided to give this place a shot. Was hoping for "Dallas decent," but this place is effin' great no matter what you are comparing it to. Good fish and other ingredients, properly and neatly rolled rolls, generous wasabi and ginger, and an overall great meal! They also had super friendly and prompt service. I had to check this place out because rarely do I see 5 stars. I was craving Sushi and it's great because this place is very close to me! First the gentlemen were very sweet and attentive to what type of flavors I was craving. The facility is very quiet and cozy. Oh wow. I came in on my way to an appointment for a quick sushi fix. I really wanted some fresh sashimi/ sushi rolls but didnt want to wait around at a sit down restaurant to get it. New sushi place thats really close the Arlington mall. Went here for a birthday dinner and loved it. Inside, its not the biggest place but it makes for a quaint and comfortable spot for a group of friends! I ended up getting the bulgogi bowl while everyone else got sushi. All my friends said the sushi was super tasty and fresh. The beet-infused rice is definitely a nice added bonus! My bowl was really flavorful. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Very affordable and wouldnt even mind if it was a little more expensive...it was that good! Would definitely come back again. read more

A bit unorthodox for a sushi place. You pay/order at the counter then they bring it out to you. Seaweed salad was awesome, pork gyoza was okay. Sushi was AMAZING. All super fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. My new fav sushi place for sure!!! read more

New place that opened up right around the corner from my parents' house, so I thought I would give it a try. The pricing is relatively lower compared to other sushi places. I placed a to-go order and immediately could tell the food was fresh. The staff was very friendly when I went to go pick up. My to go bag had everything from chopsticks, soy sauce, a small container to mix my Soy sauce and wasabi, and napkins. Just one thing (which I am not deducting a star for because I feel like it's a personal preference): I'm not sure how I feel about the pink rice. Sushi Go infuses the rice with beet juice, and the rolls turn pink. I feel like I could taste beets (which I Love separately) but don't want them around my sushi. I'll definitely give them another try to see if my opinion changes! read more

This place was quite good! We were surprised that all of the rolls were served with "pink" rice instead of normal rice. We had the cucumber, avocado, California rolls. My husband ordered the nigiri and said it was delicious. The only food we would not reorder is the beef bulgolgi bowl. It was rather flavorless, and covered in a spicy Mayo sauce. The sauce overpowered the bowl unfortunately. Quite good sushi though! We will definitely return to this great hole in the wall. read more

Sushi was alright, had the alaskan roll and eel roll and was satisfied. The fish to rice ratio was kinda also alright but the taste was good. Would definitely drive 15 minutes extra for sushi gio which is a lot better. read more

For the rolls we ordered Lil Devil, Fire Cracker, OMG roll, Salmon Tower, Kronic and the Volcano Roll. The Salmon Tower Is loaded with flavor! So good. My favorite roll was the Fire Cracker Roll. The drinks were pretty good. They don't have a big selection but that's okay. We just wanted a drink to toast my sons birthday to. We ordered Tito's with cranberry and Tito's with OJ (upon request). They were so nice about accommodating that drink for us. Everyone was great here. We ran into a young man (maybe manager/owner?) outside while were walking out, very kind. Talked to us a couple of minutes and wished my son a happy birthday. Thank you!!! Great sushi spot in Arlington! Definitely worth the drive out. We will be back. Make sure to try them out!

It offers a better selection of better, for my taste, sushi. In addition, it is one of few AYCE sushi restaurants that includes sashimi. I should mention that I wasn't as impressed with the sashimi as I was with the sushi. The fish was delicious but it was sliced way too thin. Having said that, I wish I could have given them more than five stars. They stand in the top 0.1% of AYCE sushi restaurants.

I avoided all sushi items (which obviously comprised a majority but not the entirety of the menu) but tried the: Katsu chicken: Japanese style fried chicken cutlet coated in crispy Panko, topped with katsu sauce Crispy calamari: Deep-fried calamari served with sweet chili sauce Steak hibachi: Cooked on the grill, served with veggies and fried rice I was not floored by any of the menu items, but that is to be expected as they seem to specialize in sushi items. It did the job. Other members of my party downed literally 250+ pieces of sushi sashimi. Despite us having a large party ordering so many items, service was impeccable - fast and attentive. All in all, I cannot comment on the sushi, but I appreciate that they have a vast and affordable menu. Worth a try at the very least!

Sushi Go may be small, but it's definitely big on charm. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a laid-back meal, and the service is top-notch--attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, starting with the spicy California roll and salmon skin roll. Both were fresh and full of flavor, but the crunch in the salmon skin roll really stood out, adding a delightful texture. The house salad was a nice, light starter, and the highlight of the meal was definitely the fried green tea ice cream. It stole the show--crispy and perfectly golden on the outside, with creamy, rich green tea ice cream inside. The cake that it was fried in was an absolute favorite of mine, offering a sweet and slightly doughy contrast to the cold ice cream. Overall, Sushi Go delivers on both quality and service.
