SUSHI GO IS AMAZING! Golden Philly is the only thing I can get while pregnant right now (I always get one order while not pregnant anyway) but it is so close to home, they have great wings and fries, I love getting sushi and fries!!! Their candy cane roll is great too!!! Haven't had a bad thing from here, more people need to try it but it's easy to miss, right next to CVS.

Sushi Go is one of those rare restaurants that when the pandemic hit their food got better... There's sushi and their Rice dishes are very tasty, and they're always fresh. They're still not opening the dining room, but they do delivery and take out and they are very tasty...

Was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. Their rice is pink for whatever reason but it doesn't bother me. We ordered quite a few of their rolls between the regular and specialty- my two favourites were the Lion King and Superman, both priced at $8.95 - which for a speciality roll - you can't beat that price. The place is predominantly take out (which we did) and delivery but they do have seating in the restaurant as well. We called ahead and our order took around half an hour to be ready. I don't mind waiting for fresh sushi and I believe it's just a one man operation. We will mostly likely be back, it's not a usual area of Arlington we go to, but for sushi, see you soon.

"Sushi Go" is 8 minutes walk from home! Lucky me! During the pandemic, they only take "to-go" orders or delivery. There are only three tables. I waited in my car. I ordered a Yakuza bowl, an Ahi Tower bowl, a Sushi Combo No. 1, and a bowl of miso soup. I didn't need the Ahi Tower. But I was curious what everyone was raving about. Everything was delicious. And fresh (the wait was worth it). The pink color in the rice puts some people off, but it tasted good. My wife had the Yakuza bowl. I had the Ahi Tower. They were both superb. I chose tuna and salmon for the Sushi Combo. It tasted fresher than most sushi places. The ginger and wasabi were fresh. But what surprised us was the miso soup. In our opinion, you can't get finer tasting miso soup. There are so many positive reviews before mine. I agree with them. When the pandemic is over, they deserve a larger dining space. They might have to rename the place. In the meantime, the 5-minute drive is a happy one.

Love to try out new restaurants around town and when I drove past this new sushi joint in a small strip mall I pass from time to time, I definitely had to try! Plenty of parking and the restaurant is fairly small as expected. Obviously, "to-go". The menu is a good size, lots of speciality roles for only $7.95, you can't beat that!! On my first visit I had Fire Dragon Roll and Red River Roll. Both were pretty good for the price and my favorite between both of these was the Fire Dragon. Man it had a huge kick of spice when even only rated a 1 spicy level. Perfect for those who want a zing but not overly spicy where you can't even taste the fish. Oh and don't be scared of the purple "beet infused" rice. You don't taste the beets. Sorry, Dwight. The only draw back is the wait time (not busy at all the time I went) maybe because the place is new and only had 1 sushi preparer. If you were in a rush definitely call ahead your order 20 minutes or so. If you want fresh sushi, fairly priced, and live local, it's a MUST try.

The sushi is good, some of the best in the city; but today I attempted to get a free hot green tea as advertised right here on Yelp, but they refused to honor it. I believe if it's advertised on their page, and the page generates revenue, ie: my order totaling $24.68, then Stop being so tight wadded and give me the tea. Most tea offered in restaurants aren't even top shelf quality; they're equivalent to what's found in Walmart. It's not like $1.25 of a cup of green tea will break the bank. I little goodness goes a long way because customers feel the warmth in something as simple as a cup of tea; it's the gesture that counts. Thanks for making great sushi...

Fantastic sushi. Just really good quality stuff. Nice staff. This is my 5th time getting to go orders from here. Awesome every time. The beet infused rice is actually less sweet than typical sushi rice in my opinion. It's phenomenal. Spoke to the two people working tonight when I went in to place my order. They can't open for dine in because staff shortages. Unfortunate! Wishing them luck. Go support them if you can.

Pretty new place close to home. I like the area because it's not so busy. There's a junior high across the street and some small businesses next door. But hopefully my review helps this sushi place more pleasant traffic. I had the Elvis roll and Ranger roll. I thought they were a bit heavily drizzled with eel and sriracha mayo sauce, for my taste, but they were delicious. Actually the Elvis roll was perfectly made and well-balanced. The seared fish on that roll was perfect, almost beefy textured but melted in your mouth. The Ranger roll had a kick to it but not over-powering. All rolls were little cheaper than your average sushi place but high quality ingredients and great temperature when served. I guess they specialize on to go orders but you can eat there comfortably, as well. I was about to leave, then I noticed their Asian snack section. I saw the fish ice cream I loved experiencing in college, only found in a Korean market in Austin. But I think they're more available now, like at H-Mart. I'll return to have another quiet lunch and try their basic rolls then. Also, not sure if this is seasonal or limited-time, but they cook their rice with beet juice and gives a pink color, but I didn't notice the flavor. They said it helps add nutritional benefits to the rice. I'm down with that. They have wings now! Tender and crispy. Wish the flavors had more pop or seasoning to them, but they were satisfying. Lots of flavor choices too! Thank you for expanding the menu a bit more.

What a great little find right in the middle of our neighborhood. My wife and I were looking for some sushi and we weren't sure we would find a good spot but Sushi Go really didn't disappoint. We ordered some potstickers, sashimi and a couple of rolls too. The Cry Baby 2 roll was great as was the yellow fin and salmon sashimi. My wife got the Arlington roll. She really liked that as well although it was not to my taste. Potstickers were also really nice. The service was fast, friendly and personal. I really liked the comfortable chilled out vibe in the restaurant. I will be back here regularly! The price was also very reasonable with most rolls around the $8 mark. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

So, I work pretty close to this place! I did not know there was a sushi place that was close to where I worked and live, that is affordable and delicious. I had order the Poke Bowl to go. It was extremely delicious and fresh. I really love the crabmeat salad, seaweed salad and the tuna. Of course the beet infused colored sushi rice was awesome!Everything else was very good but those toppings stood out. The restaurant is small but very comfortable and has nice decor. They even have a freezer and fridge for Korean and Japanese Ice creams and drinks, and a small area for snacks too. I would recommend going to this restaurant for delicious sushi, bowls, and snacks. OMG !! OMG!! First five stars I've given a restaurant. I've been craving sushi for a while but I honestly hate going to the overpriced basic sushi places. Don't get me wrong I'll pay for if it's good but most of the time I can already except what I'm getting. When I drove up I didn't expect it to be that small or that good. When I walked in i did notice that it was clean. They greeted me with a smile and they were supper friendly. I had to return to work so I also wasn't able to sit down. But when I got in the car believe I started eating. The Cawboys was AMAZING!!! I loved the crunch it was definitely different. I love that they had the chef special and that it was named after all the local teams. I will definitely be going again!! Loved it!! read more

It is a convenient to go shusi with full menu to satisfy your taste. We discovered it through Yelp during the early Pandemic shut down. We tried combo 2, mahi tower, soft shell crabs, princes roll, elvis roll..place order was easy. Food is always ready when pick up.. taste good with affordable prices.. definitely recommend it read more

I remember eating here a couple years back! So glad my dad wanted to try this place! Placed a to-go order here yesterday and it was great. Fresh sushi, with great flavor is hard to find....I'm so happy to say their hot mama roll was awesome! Everything my family got was delicious. Their rice is pink, looks kinda weird but tastes great. I recommend getting their sashimi salad also! Great flavoring...only $4?!?! and REALLY my new favorite thing. Check em out! read more

I've been to Sushi Go about four times since it's opened, and every time it hits the spot! The price is great, and the fish is so fresh. The owners have been very sweet and welcoming every time I've come, and explained the menu to me. They use beet powder in their sushi rice for added nutritional value - so cute and healthy! My favorite rolls are the Candy Cane and Cry Baby. Everything is made to order, and made in front of you, so you know it's fresh. I will definitely be back! read more

First time customer trying a new spot. The establishment is clean but also carry out and/or pick up only. There was no one in line ahead of me when I got there but someone did come to pick up an order. The woman at the register was kind and let me take my time reviewing their menu and even ran a previous order outside while I was looking. I ordered the Wonder Woman, the crunch roll, and the Superman and my receipt was time stamped for 4:35p. The woman at the register told me that I could wait in my car and she would bring my order to me. I interpreted it as a request to minimize having too many people in the space and I agreed with no problem but as I waited, I watched 2 groups of people walk in after me and walk out {{with}} their food before my order was brought to me, and neither were just in and out like they were just picking up. While the food was good and fresh, I did not appreciate having to wait 25min before my food was brought to me. I don't think there was anyone else there to bring my food to me and I don't know if those orders were called in or something before I got there, but I would've appreciated her bringing my food out sooner/between orders/prior to those who came after me. read more

Dropped in for a quick bite ended taking out. Sushi was fresh the rice was not at all too sweet for me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the cashier was very friendly and helpful. I ended up getting the cry baby roll 2. Will be back again to try other rolls and their wings. read more

The quality of the fish is pretty good - solid 7/10. However, the sushi rice is a little sweet which makes it pretty overpowering. I got the Ahi Tower and it really just tasted like a dessert. Their sashimi combo is spectacular though, the salmon was super tender. read more

Yummmmmm. Omg. We only had the sushi here, but it was really delicious. Even the $5 rolls were excellent. The rice is purple hue bc they put beet juice when they cook it. Beet juice has a lot of good qualities so I think that's amazing! Everyone is so nice and helpful as well. read more

Glad I found sushi restaurant near my workplace. I've been here twice and it was really good. The staff are very nice and prompt. The sushi rolls are fresh and presented very prettily. I had the Wonder Woman roll and the Cry Baby 2 roll, which was very spicy. I think the waiter can tell I was struggling because he brought me a water. I like the kick, though. Overall, this place is solid. Give it a try. read more

As advertised, this is a no-frills sushi place with reasonable prices and decidedly above average food. We started with some very fresh-tasting miso soup. The star of the evening was the Elvis roll which is topped with torched white tuna. I've never had a roll quite like it -- it had a wonderfully roasty taste but was still juicy and retained the texture of raw fish. read more

Amazing service, yummy sushi, and cheap price. They don't mind you customizing your roll, will give you recommendations, and genuinely just want you to enjoy your meal with them. My only complaint is how long it takes since there is only one person making the sushi at a time. If you know you're coming, call ahead and they'll have your food waiting. read more

Infused beet root into your rice so Asian fusion. It was pretty in pink rice. Honestly you could taste the difference between using white rice or infused rice. Just the fast it was infused in beet juice made it healthy. Definitely will come back again ! read more

I didn't know this location was where it was, but I'm happy it's nearby. I ordered the Fuji (Fuji Mountain?) roll, I received about 8 rolls - the rice is pink due to their use of beets, said to improve "athletic performance" - the only place you'll see me running to is back to this restaurant for more. LOVED these, especially the additional toppings (looked like spring onions, shrimp). Will probably be returning. All I would ask for is 10 rolls instead of 8. So good! read more

Looking for local and interesting options while planning for visitors. I read reviews and knew we had to try this restaurant in our neighborhood. WOW! Very intimate, clean, quiet, friendly. Trust me when I say I know good sushi... if you've ever been to Uchi or Tei Tei in Dallas then you know what I'm talking about. The fish here is ok. It's the actual rice that brought this score down. The color or beet juice in the rice isn't the problem. It's the texture. How do you go wrong with cooking rice?! Maybe it's because I was one of their first customers on a Thursday morning and they decided to use rice they didn't finish using up the day before. But let me tell you about it!! First of all, there's too much rice on the rolls. It looks pretty, but there were many hard or stale or not fully-cooked rice grains in it. Sushi rice is supposed to be supple and moist yet not soggy.... definitely not hard/dry. The rice they have here tastes like they threw it in the microwave to warm up and there were some stale rice grains. I tried the Cry Baby 2 which had a sour Tabasco like sauce on it that threw me off and had some sweetness to it which I wasn't fond of. The Fire Dragon would've been very good if the rice was made right. read more

So, I know my sushi. The food at Okinawa was by far the best of any AYCE sushi and close to what I have had at high-end sushi bars. To top that off, the service was better than almost any restaurant I have been to; especially in AYCE sushi places. The vast majority of AYCE restaurants take forever to bring reorders. This includes both sushi and others. Our server was frindly and helpful. He couldn't have been better. The menu is awesome; especially when the evening menu is available. It offers a better selection of better, for my taste, sushi. In addition, it is one of few AYCE sushi restaurants that includes sashimi. I should mention that I wasn't as impressed with the sashimi as I was with the sushi. The fish was delicious but it was sliced way too thin. Having said that, I wish I could have given them more than five stars. They stand in the top 0.1% of AYCE sushi restaurants.

Despite being AYCE with a huge menu, it is extremely affordable at $30 per adult person. I took a photo of the menu outlining the pricing structures further. I avoided all sushi items (which obviously comprised a majority but not the entirety of the menu) but tried the: Katsu chicken: Japanese style fried chicken cutlet coated in crispy Panko, topped with katsu sauce Crispy calamari: Deep-fried calamari served with sweet chili sauce Steak hibachi: Cooked on the grill, served with veggies and fried rice I was not floored by any of the menu items, but that is to be expected as they seem to specialize in sushi items. It did the job. Other members of my party downed literally 250+ pieces of sushi sashimi. Despite us having a large party ordering so many items, service was impeccable - fast and attentive. All in all, I cannot comment on the sushi, but I appreciate that they have a vast and affordable menu. Worth a try at the very least!

Sushi Go may be small, but it's definitely big on charm. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a laid-back meal, and the service is top-notch--attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, starting with the spicy California roll and salmon skin roll. Both were fresh and full of flavor, but the crunch in the salmon skin roll really stood out, adding a delightful texture. The house salad was a nice, light starter, and the highlight of the meal was definitely the fried green tea ice cream. It stole the show--crispy and perfectly golden on the outside, with creamy, rich green tea ice cream inside. The cake that it was fried in was an absolute favorite of mine, offering a sweet and slightly doughy contrast to the cold ice cream. Overall, Sushi Go delivers on both quality and service.
