Tracking slip left on my door 4/25/24. Form 3849, clearly states: Pick up Sat hours: 10 am - 1 pm, (408) 378-7978. ROUTED my morning to be there when they opened. But, no, they are CLOSED Saturday. OK? NO, this is NOT OK. I entered a re-delivery date online for 4/29/24. Left the slip taped to our door, signed, etc. And, guess what? CRICKETS. They NEVER SHOWED UP. Tried to "edit the redelivery online" but because the re-delivery has not yet occurred, it cannot be edited. So my packages and certified mail are in limbo- carrier can't be bothered to redeliver, their office is closed, they have a disconnected number, and I can't edit or re-enter the request to 'try again' online. No wonder USPS is a monolith and should be closed forever. Ok...............I called the local office. It's an old VERIZON WIRELESS number that has been disconnected. WTF. Called 1-800-USPS-SUCKS, and after 25 minutes on hold, got an actual LIVE PERSON somewhere in the deep south. She graciously entered "another redelivery request" and gave me a completely different number to call the local Post Office. Tried that number, rang 20+ times, no voicemail, no one picked up. Tried 10 minutes later. Same "ghosting" crap. I work quite a ways from home and I'm hanging around "Dell Ave" from 8 to 4, M-F, to get my package and letter. After another cup of "angry coffee", I'll have to file a formal complaint? No, I just want my CERTIFIED MAIL please - TODAY!!!!! read more

Same great service here at the U.S. Post Office on Dell Ave. in Los Gatos, as usual! I came here to mail off a return parcel and all the clerk did was scan it, hand me my receipt and I was off! Simple, seamless, friendly service always, no hassles. I wish all U.S.P.S locations were like this one, especially the one on Hamilton Ave. in Campbell. I've been coming here for a few years now. I love that their workers have a sense of humor and they do their best on finding a bond between them and their customers. This is the only post office I enjoy coming to because the workers are very helpful and you can tell that they enjoy their job. Because this post office is away from busy areas and hidden they're not as busy as other locations. I also like that they have a pretty good amount of parking spaces compared to other post offices. read more

This place is conveniently located near my office. The staff is particularly super helpful, friendly and funny. The queue is never long there. I always go there to ship large boxes (guitars mainly). They are closed on the week-ends....despite that, I rather wait till next coming Monday when I need to ship over the week-end just to enjoy the service when shipping form this post office! read more

I was looking for the nearest post office by my work. I found one which was only 5 minutes away. I had to mail some documentations through certified mail. The guy behind the counter was very helpful (I think his name was Rico). He was very nice and great at his job. It's just one of those people you can tell that loves their job. This is by far the friendliest and cleanest US Post Office I have ever been to or dealt with! The people here go out of their way to make your experience with them as easy as possible. I never have time to pick up my packages but they are willing to be flexible with their time to accomodate. They are organized and service is very welcoming and personal. I feel pretty ridiculous reviewing a post office, but having a pleasant experience at a post office is so rare that I've got to provide credit where credit is due. I got a postcard saying that something had been forwarded from an old address but additional postage was now due (b/c of the forwarding, I guess). I had no idea what it was but went to the post office to pick it up. Turns out it was a package from the manufacturer of my car, but I had no idea what they would possibly be sending me. Nevertheless, I was going to pay the extra postage and take it. However, the gentleman at the counter noted that it was probably some marketing garbage and asked where I'd moved from to owe extra postage. When he found out it was just from Palo Alto, he slid the package across the counter and just said "Eh, don't worry about it." Turned out it was just a stupid pen, but I appreciated the gesture on his part to be reasonable. read more

This Post Office continues to lie about delivery dates and times. Not only do they not deliver when they saw they did they often will "sign for delivery" as a convenient way of not wanting to get out of their truck and bring it to the house. This is a habitual pattern that is repeated over and over with the mail carriers from this location. read more

Not very happy and to top it off major attitude. We set up to hold our mail, I got a notification that pkg arrived at the post office all set to go retrieve to them get a notice that it's out for delivery. So I call to ask if they have our hold on file to which she says "well I'm not the carrier so I didn't know if there is a hold". Why I ask abd she says if it's day 1 the carrier had the hold to remind him. Why wouldn't it get done at the strain abd avoid carrying more mail? I can't have my pkg held there and there is no way to know if the carrier will keep taking the mail. read more

Some, if not all USPS offices are pretty much structured the same. Some USPS offices are smaller than the other, and others provide extra services like passport application. There are some USPS offices that have drop off boxes outside and inside the office which is accessible 24 hours a day. Some do not have this feature. Coming to this USPS and Campbell, I was pretty excited knowing that I could drop off my package right after my visit from my doctor's clinic. The parcel is already pre-paid and it's priority mail. I drove in and noticed that they did not have the drop off bins so I park my car and decided to go inside to drop it off...easy peasy. I'm quite sure that it was just any other regular day at the post office in this one. When I walked in,there was about a line of five people which did not bother me at all because I was only here to drop off my package. They did not have one of those bins where you drop off your box and push it back to have your package in. I decided to walk to the counter and asked the lady behind if "May I leave my package here?", laying my package on the corner of the counter. She looked at me and she looked at my package. I showed her that it was already pre-paid. I don't know what I did or said that made her raise her voice to the top of her lungs and said, "That is not the right envelope!". Hmm, I was quite shocked by the response but I told her, "I have been mailing my packages using this envelope for years.", She would not accept my package insisting that it was the wrong envelope. Geez lady, what is wrong with you? I am only here to drop off my package just like what I do with the rest of the post offices I check in all year-round. I just happen to be close by so I decided to drop off my poor package in front of your ugly face. You have made my visit here so inconvenient that despite your high ratings on yelp, I feel like I was not treated the same way. What could have been the difference? That I'm Asian ? Why did she have to yell at me as if I was a little kid and put me on the spot? That was absolutely unnecessary and embarrassing. This lady is the middle aged Caucasian lady with shoulderlength hair. Tall, maybe 5'9. It would be more convenient to come by this post office knowing that she, if she was working that day, treat everybody with respect. She could've easily given me the appropriate envelope and showed me which envelope was right. Yelling doesn't help, it will just give you a poor rating on yelp. LOL. It may not matter to you but it matters to me and the rest of the people who have been treated the same way by this ugly lady. My envelope that day was labeled "PRIORITY EXPRESS". The reason I used this envelope was because the post office I usually frequent ran out of the priority only envelope. However, throughout the years I have used envelopes and boxes and as long as the parcel fee is correct, my packages always got to the recipients after being mail through the USPS. So, I took my package with me back to my car and brought it to my usual post office which is by Lundy in San Jose. Beware of this nasty witch at the Dell Avenue USPS. I'm not coming back. My first and last visit? October 16, 2017. Whoever that lady was behind the counter at 1030 am needs to be shipped to Pluto. read more

I have had three packages in the last couple of months take an extra week to be delivered because of this office. The order tracking system says they are there, but when I call to inquire, I have been told that the packages aren't there. Then, they magically appear a few days later. Not sure what is going on, but they need to get their act together. I have never had such horrible service from a mail carrier in my life. read more
