The professionalism of the staff and the patience of the customers without what works extremely well for this location. I returned an order and the postal service representative spent the time to explain what needed to be corrected while maintaining the rest of the other patrons. Thank you! read more

I went there right at 8:30am and the lady was on the phone speaking in what seemed Chinese and laughing while I knocked on the door bc it was still closed until 8:36am. I needed to complete a certified mail, so the lady disappeared and I had to ring the doorbell to get her attention. She was still on the phone with her friend or family member. She barely spoke to me but was quick to tap the option of "green happy face" on my behalf. Really an odd experience that seemed not right to chose someone's satisfaction survey after giving poor customer service. read more

I don't think I've ever received better service at a post office than this location. What a lovely lady that works there every day she's so helpful and thoughtful and no nonsense. She gets her job done. The line doesn't stay long for a very long and seems like they have a good flow in this location.!! read more

Very poor customer service. I was even friendly and said hi to both of them when I reached the counter. Woman just stared at me and wouldn't tell me what was wrong. She looked at her partner behind the counter and she just shook her head. I asked what was wrong and she finally said I couldn't use duct tape and I needed to write where it was going on package. I told her I don't ship a lot and had a QR code that was supposed to work and asked what type of tape should I use and she smugly said "not duct tape". Never go there again. When did customer service leave the USPS. read more

Lady there was unfriendly and unknowledgeable. I was shipping an item with battery and she immediately said USPS can't ship Priority because it has a battery. USPS actually published "Pub 52" which changed rules for shipping battery. When I asked her about it she said "I don't know" but still took the package. I think it's pathetic that someone in USPS doesn't know the rules and need customers to tell them? It should be the other way around right ? Also it's been a day and my package still says "awaiting item". If they screw up I'll be really pissed. read more

This is one of the tiniest Post office locations I have been inside in a long time, but despite their size, they manage to take care of all shipping services that larger locations offer. Lines can get fairly long here and because they don't have a lot of space for waiting customers, often times lines will pour out into the hallway. read more

Hidden gem: Very efficient and competent staff. I love going here, it's my preferred post office when I need to physically go into one.

I am so disappointed with the post office and Target. I ordered a few necessities such as soap, q-tips, and body wash online and wanted it to shipped to my apartment, but I never received a delivery slip or notification that my package was delivered. I ordered online specifically because I'm extremely busy and work 80 hour work weeks, which means I don't want to go to the trouble and drive to target to pick things up. I had to call Target and track my package down. And without a package slip, I had to deduce WHERE my package was left off. I assumed Willow Glen because it's the area I live in, but man, was it cumbersome to track it and then find it to pick it up. In the end, I had to travel farther to the post office than I actually would have to drive to Target in order to pick a package that should have been delivered three weeks ago. No wonder Amazon is trumping the online sales department. Shipping is nearly flawless with them! read more

This place never answers the phone. I finally had to go there in person to find that they don't print out return labels for you.

3 Stars for the convenience. I needed to send some passport photos to San Francisco and the lady at desk was trying to sell me the highest package saying it will be faster. Wondered how slow it can get for San Jose to San Francisco. read more

Love coming here to this location. The line is always short, in and out. Great customer service. Parking is easy not that full.

The clerks are always friendly and kind. The lines aren't long. I recommend this location. read more

This is my favorite post office to goto to drop off my packages! Winnie the lady who always helps me is the absolute best! She's always been very kind and knowledgeable about everything. It really makes it a easier experience when I goto the post office. read more

I hesitate letting this secret loose, because I've been using this location as my own private US Post Office. But I've decided to reveal this privileged information to my fellow Yelpers. Yes, there is a small US Post Office in downtown Willow Glen. It's in the back of the "Garden" building (the thing that looks like an old movie theater.) It's tucked away behind the Top Nosh Café. As the holidays are approaching, we all dread the long lines and chaos at most Post Offices. Not many people know about this little one, so it's typically easy to run in and out. It's clean, organized, and the staff is friendly enough. There is parking in the back and on the street. If there's a long line in the future--I'll know the customers are all fellow Yelpers. And that little fact will warm my heart. read more

This location makes me want to send all sorts of packages. It's tucked away so it's rarely crowded, the staff is friendly, and did I mention it's not crowded. DON'T GO HERE! Stay away, whatever you do ;-) read more

Gotta say, among the post offices I've been to....this one has the friendliest staff. They may not offer all services (like passports), but every time I've been here it has been fairly quick. The staff have been friendly, helpful, and reassuring...helping me pick the appropriate shipping method without trying to get me to spend more money. They have gone the extra half mile, thinking about what exactly I'm sending rather than just shipping it. They even offered me plain ol' tape to fix my envelope I had to reopen without any huffiness about it having to be a certain type of package being mailed a certain way. No-frills, but friendly and efficient. read more

This place will never answer there phone call I've tried calling at least 30 times back to back but no one answered

My first time went to this small post office. Had a great experience. No line when I came in on Thursday morning. Both ladies were friendly and knowledgable. Plenty of parking spaces in the rear of the building. read more

Says it closes at 6 online and even on the sign on there door. I came on Tuesday at 5:15 and it was already closed. No sign on the door even explaining that it a part of a new regulation. I guess they just wanted a shorter day. Disappointing. read more

This is my local post office. You know that you go there too much, when they recognize you. I just have to say that one day I was 20 cents shorts and the lady said that she would cover it and to bring it in with me next time. I had a $20, but they were a little short on change. When we got to the car, we had the change and brought is back in. Great service and really kind hearted employees. read more

Always a pleasant visit at this post office. It is super easy to get in and out. It is tucked away on lincoln so it's easy to pass it up when walking the row. read more

Love this location! The staff are not always friendly but you can't beat it. Right on Lincoln Avenue but tucked away in the back.....usually I am in and out. Gotta love it!! read more

This post office refuses to deliver packages to my door because I live in an apartment building. They refuse to even leave a slip in my box letting me know that I have a package to pick up. Furthermore, I'm unable to pick up my packages due to my work schedule. HOW DOES A USPS REFUSE TO DELIVER TO AN ADDRESS? 3200 Rubino Drive, San Jose, CA 95125 THIS CANNOT BE LEGAL! read more

THIS IS FOR THE INDIAN EMPLOYEE HERE ONLY...she got so elevated with me for no reason. Sure I used the wrong box for the label i bought but wow, calm your shit woman. AND, this other customer woman came in saying her mailboxes got broken into and was redirected to go to this USPS location, both the asian employee AND the Indian woman barked down this womans throat "NO THIS IS NOT THE LOCATION, GO TO ______ _______". I was grossed out at how defensive the employees got on this poor woman who is confused and being told wrong information from the OTHER USPS location. But I have to say, the Indian woman is the fucking worst. REMOVE HER PLEASE. read more

I can't believe this place, a small post office in downtown willow glen with no lines like the main office. I would venture to guess it might stay this way for a while as even with the address in hand I drove past it twice! I finally just parked close to the numbered address and found it feet away from where I had parked. It is in a really cool looking movie theater style front building. Once in theres sushi, a coffee joint and a cool looking barber shop which was closed at the time but will come back to try out later. The way they have built up down town willow glen has a real homey feel to it. It's a one stop shop but with smaller old time America shops. read more

completely overcharged me for what I needed and did not answer my questions; I spent probably 3x what I need to and I cant return it

This is one of San Jose/Willow Glen's hidden treasures!! Its conveniently located in the Garden Theater building right smack dab in the center of "downtown Willow Glen." The folks there are so friendly and helpful, just going in will lift your spirits. Let's keep on sending letters and postcards, mailing packages, too!! read more

Came to this location a good 50+ times in the past 2 months and I was taken care of very well each and every time. The ladies here are great and most often there is no line... as long as you dont get stuck going there during peak hours. Happy Customer! read more

This place is hidden inside of the theater. It's a small post office, no self-serve kiosk, but the line was short and the clerk was quick. I was in there for about 3 minutes, not bad for a post office! read more

My experience in this USPS post office has been positive so far. Friendly staff and great location.

I'm so glad to have found this lil gem in Willow Glen being an "outsider" from San Jose! Got in and out in under 5 minutes which is a record for a post office attempt at mailing a few packages. read more

They just lost me tens of thousands of dollars. I changed the card I use to pay for my po box, and just found out they must have not used it. I have been waiting for important mail but got no notice that they were not delivering my mail to me until they received payment. They just sent me an email stating that they have shut down my box. I've been trying to call them for an hour straight. There is no voicemail box and nobody has answered. The phone is now off the hook, so it sounds like someone got tired of listening to the phone ring and left it off the hook. read more

I am noticing in other reviews that this location is not typically crowded. I can imagine that with the location it likely is a quick in and out stop most of the time. While I was filling out the labels for my mail, the "rush" happened, and I think I counted four customers in and out. In spite of the customer demand, Mary helped me mail a couple of packages, seamlessly. I am glad I found this convenient location. read more

Unfortunately this review is based on the service of one individual. Stephanie was very unhelpful. The details are irrevelent and involve tracking down a package that started its delivery via Fed Ex and then was dropped off at the Post Office for the final leg. I called prepared with every tracking #, case # etc that I had collected during this fun process and was told that it wasnt there. Period and I could call at 9 in which I explained I had a meeting scheduled. Silence....Thank you for your help Stephanie read more

Great service! Reached at closing time, they were kind, helpful & polite people.

It was my first time at a post office and after waiting in line for 20 min I ask Debrah I wasn't sure what I had to fill out for certified mail and she tells me that all the papers are in the back with out even helping me fill it out. Worst customer service I've seen and on top of that she takes 4 clients that were behind me...I will never be back horrible customer service, it looks like ppl take surveys on her service but she's didn't ask me to take one... I wonder why lol read more

If you have oodles of time to spare, and don't mind standing in long for waaay longer than you have to and like to listen to the postal service person talk and talk and talk and talk, then come to this location. If you're like the rest of us and have things to do other than try to send a package or envelope, this USPS location is a nightmare. The employee, Daniel takes FOREVER and is super unhelpful. I needed to deliver a package. and asked for the most economical option. He started a monologue of all the options available to me, when we finally can upon the one that was obvious from the start he wouldn't let me pay, he said I had to tape up the box before he would help me and proceeded to help two other customers in line!!! I had trouble with the tape dispenser and if he could have JUST helped me, just a tiny little bit, I wouldn't have been there for an eternity. This dude gives government employees a bad name! read more
