Second time coming here. UPS decided to drop my package off here instead of ringing my door bell, it happens. Anyway, had to grab my package from Postal Care and as annoyed I was at UPS, Postal Care service was awesome! The guy who helped me is so pleasant and nice. I came into postal care to print out a form last minute. The agent was attending another client and she greeted me nicely. I between clients she asked me to her the form that I needed to print. I did that and it was only $.55 unfortunately and embarrassingly I didn't have any cash instead of charging my credit card. She gave it to me for free as a one time exemption of course. The gentleman that works here is a bit of a pill to deal with. I came in with two, already paid for shipping labels with packages. Just following the emails directions, the sales man had a retort about every step; claiming they were all redundant. Knowing said brands already paid for my shipping labels, I was just following the directions. He insisted on doing it his way but I insisted we just follow the directions and he scoffed his way through the steps. Additionally, he added I can 'just take it to FedEx' even though they pickup M-F. It's like he wanted me to take my business elsewhere because I didn't want to do things his way. Beware. This location provides abysmal service. The UPS carrier left a note that they would leave the box at this location after I wasn't at home when they arrived. The next day I went to this store, and they didn't have the package. So, I returned the next day, showed my id, got the box, and went outside. Outside I quickly realized that it was not mine. The package had a different name on it. I returned and immediately showed the box that it wasn't mine. The clerk rolled her eyes and apologized that she had made a mistake. I asked for my original package, but she couldn't find it. My package arrived at this location a few days later (5-7 days later on the 2nd-day delivery option) after the original note. But guess what? I couldn't pick it up. The tracking was showing that it was already delivered and signed with my name!!! I don't trust this location & the business they offer. The lady working that day was extremely friendly, and able to help us with the paperwork we needed to get notarized in under and hour. I wanted to write a review because I believe in giving credit when credit is due. I needed some passport photos done, for both the US and Canada. The man told me right away that he was unable to do the photos for the Canadian passport because the requirements are different. He said it's common for mail centers like his to only be able to do US passport photos. I asked if he knew any where that could help and he suggested Staples. Sure enough Staples was able to help me with both sets of photos. I would have never thought to try Staples, and I appreciate his honesty and willingness to to help even though I ended up not using his services. read more

I came to the location to send a DHL package and the lady was so RUDE!!! She didn't want to help me and clearly hated her job. She then told me I didn't have the correct label on the box (which I did). She told me I could leave it with her, but she wouldn't send it. (Why would I do that??) I'm not sure if this person is the owner or an employee, but not a good representation of your company and I will never be coming here again. Rude and unhelpful. The woman who worked the counter kept me waiting for 10 minutes while she was in the same center bringing back her cold coffee drink. When she saw me waiting she seemed bothered that i had UPS items to deliver and said without blinking that she can't help me and insisted they do not do ups returns with barcodes. This is an Amazon return but that was it. No other courteous customer service guidance. No I'm really sorry. So i am done with this place. There is a guy there, however, that has been more helpful in the past. NOTE: Just look at her rude and defensive response to my feedback as a customer. I had no idea this great little center was so close! I needed to make some copies and checked Yelp! for places that were close and found this location. I wasn't quite sure how to use the copy machine and the clerk was busy with another person, so I made two copies that were useless. After the clerk was done with the other person, she came to check on me. I explained what happen and she told me not to worry that she would not charge me for the incorrect copies. I always came here and I was always looking forward to come and was treated so nicely so I don't mind paying extra for the labels- the service was always stellar and I would purchase tape etc to support the local business- Until today. I was told I'm not a customer, just because today I dropped off packages that had my own eBay labels already- This was always welcome in the past and they always taped the labels on for me. Today this gentleman told me he would charge me $3 to tape on the labels after he had already told me that I'm not his customer and after he helped everyone else in the store first and let me wait part-way through my transaction. He also told me he does not have to give me the postal envelopes- he gets them for free from the post office!!! Of course he does not have to give them to me- id think if he wants to stay in business though that he would- Not sure what has gotten into this man but I'd stay away from there- he used to be amazing. Today he was mad at me just for being confused about the eBay designations flat rate envelope and that there is no 'padded' option on eBay - I was confused and asked questions to make sure my package would get to its designation and instead of being helpful as always this man decided today to treat me like the scum of the earth. Pay it forward! It's never a good idea to be so unkind. People who purchased something before and will again are your customers! If you don't build loyalty you will not do well. read more

I want to start by thanking Michael for accepting and delivering on my large demand. I had 58 valentine boxes for my team at work. I shopped for them, wrote cards for them, boxed them up, and packed up my little car not once but 3 separate times because to deliver on this project; that should have been fun and somewhat effortless to ship! WRONG!!! I went to FedEx and UPS at Staples both in Campbell. I do follow instructions, and this would have and should have been easy had I received proper instructions. Instead ...rude, un-helpful and reprimanding (will Yelp all issues on their site). I say all of this because I did a lot of work on this, so why is it too much to ask a shipping company to do what is expected at their job! I brought my boxes to SHIPPING companies I did not think it would be too much of an effort to .... SHIP??? I was clearly wrong! I was referred to Michael, he could not have been kinder, more patient, and welcoming, to this silly but large shipping order. We worked together, I know this was a large ask and he had other customers. He worked on my order in between helping others, was super nice, and never once made me feel like he could not be bothered with my order. I was very happy with the service I received and highly recommend this business. I will be using this business going forward as these kinds of task's are a big part of my job while we are all working from home. I really like the man (owner) who is there in the morning but the woman who works afternoons is not friendly or nice. If I have to ship something and it is in the afternoon, I go somewhere else. They are losing my business because of her. Unfortunately, I also received a message from I can only assume is one of the owners who trolls their reviews. They asked "what is wrong with me?" Umm... Contrary to other negative reviews, I found both occupants of this building to be extremely friendly and helpful. They do sometimes tend to be doing their own thing (eating, etc.), but I don't really walk in to a postal care place that is primarily responsible for housing packages and expect a red carpet to be rolled out for me. I'm greeted every time I walk in there. If they're busy with someone, they go "one minute please." When I'm walking out, they say "thank you." I took a UPS return box with the printed label to them and the young girl behind the counter chastised me for not having the box taped. She told me that they don't tape boxes if you don't buy a label from them. Three 10inch pieces of cheap boxing tape was too much for this place to spare for a long time customer. I love this place. Sounds weird to say about a mailbox store, but I do! The family that runs the shop are some of the kindest people I've met in San Jose. They have helped us with things like mailing odd shaped packages and passport photos. I have a private mailbox here too and they always let me know when packages have come in.
