I came to Big Ink to do small (50-200) batches of zines in 2023, and became a loyal customer. They provided personal service, a competitive price (even with the big services) and good turnaround. Worth coming to when you need a pro-quality job for projects personal or business. First, you get personal service. Each time I have personal contact with the person doing the job, and over the years I get to know the staff. I also got great advice on formatting that made my work better. The staff knows graphic arts. Secondly, the quality is good. I've had people comment on the quality of the prints I've sent them. They have LOTS of options for your work and can work with you to find what works for you. Squared backs? Metallic Inks? Third, you get to support a local business that gets to know you - and they have a reputation among their customers that brings them big jobs. You want to get your booklets made by people who've done jobs for big names and your neighbors? That's these folks. I've found the turnaround time pretty good. If you're on a tight schedule be sure to check in on your needs and schedule. My stuff isn't on a tight timeline, so I'm just "do it whenever" and I usually get it in 2-4 days. But I've also seen them work on critical orders with speed. Worth supporting. For extra fun, ask them about the equipment they have, they've got some pretty hardcore printing setups. These guys deserve their 5 stars. Here's my story: found myself in a last minute pinch needing biz cards for an upcoming meeting in less than 72hours. By default I thought to go online but found that all these "overnight" services aren't overnight at all. I spent a few hours designing the layout but none of these online businesses could get me the cards in time. So...of course I found myself referencing Yelp and found Big Ink Printing. Their solid 5 stars gave me confidence to call where I spoke with Dion who said it wouldn't be a problem and to email them the creatives. Fifteen minutes later I'm at their shop where Shea the printing wizard quickly reviewed my requirements and before I even left had already started mocking up the design replicating what I had created earlier. While they couldn't get me the full run until next week (which is NOT a problem and totally understandable), these printing rockstars are doing a limited run that will handle my biz card requirement for me and my business partner's mtg. Big Ink Printing is THE BEST. They printed my wedding invitations in 2019, and most recently, my father's funeral programs. The funeral home hadn't told us that they weren't going to print any materials, so I was left with a few hours to design the programs and get 200 copies printed! I am a professional designer and was able to put together a lovely program and card in record time, but my stress levels were through the roof. Although it was literally the last minute, Big Ink responded right away and assured me that the job would be done with time to spare before the funeral, which was just a few hours away.
