This UPS is consistently unfriendly when taking Amazon returns. I understand that the stores are not paid much for these returns, but a little friendliness doesn't hurt. Other UPS stores in the area (Los Gatos Blvd, Alamden Expwy) are always friendly. Last time I returned an item where the product packaging was in brown cardboard. The ripped the items out of the product packaging and threw all the pieces into the big box. This was a return where I was only going to be refunded on inspection of the return and I had told Amazon that the product was in original packaging. I made pictures and was worried about the refund, fortunately I still got it eventually. Not sure if Amazon remembers me now as a bad returner. I will not be going back to this store for returns, or any other shipping business for that matter. read more

Do not send packages here!! They have a new policy that requires you to pay $10 simply for picking up a package here as a "hold for pickup". No other locations have ever enforced this fee but they will hold your package hostage if you don't pay. Should be illegal. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I love their new self-serve Amazon drop off! Only complaint is that your items can't be too big-- the poly bags they have that you can put your items in aren't very big. So you have to get in line for larger Amazon returns. Other than that, this UPS is pretty standard, I would say. I always come here because it's the closest UPS to my house. This store went under new ownership about 8-10 months ago and they're lovely!!! Admittedly I come here too often for Amazon return packages and notary. I have second home I am renovating and that definitely creates lots of ordering, shipping, returns. No matter how many packages I have, I am always greeted warmly! It's the only UPS I'll go to now. This is also one of the cleanest UPS stores I've seen through out the bay. Everything is always stocked, nicely organized and labeled. This is a shoutout to Hima K who has completed 2 notaries for me with ease, expertise and a smile. I had to have my mom come and sign the same document and it was seamless! They always have more than 2 in the store so if you need to have 2 or more witnesses for your notarization, you can. read more

Do not go to this UPS. Lady is lazy and will argue with you about Amazon returns because we doesn't want to pick it up. Told me I need the packing from my Amazon packages in order to return. I have the box and the label but states I need the outside package that came with Amazon I've returned stuff at other ups stores and have never been asked for the plastic mailer. read more

Avoid this store if you can! Went there at 10am this morning for notary and was told to come back between 11 am to 3pm. Went again at 12:00 and was told that the notary lady left. No further explanation and not sorry for what he said. Worst ups experience. read more

I was next door for a BofA appointment which got botched. Grrrrr. I did get a lucky turn though because I had planned to make a UPS drop-off on the way back closer to my house and saw this one right next door to BofA. Saved me some time. It was an easy in and out. Not a good service at all. They charged me $3 for printing out a label through email. There are other UPS stores which do this for free. Also they did not inform me regarding $3 charge before hand. I do not recommend going here. The UPS on Bascom is better. read more

Every time I go to this UPS store the group of people that work there are so unfriendly. They act like you're bothering them. They never acknowledge you when you walk in. If they're busy doing something, you are still supposed to look up acknowledge the customer and say I'll be right with you. Not giving excuses about how you have to change the cash. I know you have to change the cash, but it would still be polite if you look up and say, I'll be right with you. Not properly trained, obviously. read more

I had a problem with a package I sent to my daughter who'd moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It accrued import fees from customs when passing the Canadian border. I'd been told I'd likely be called and given a chance to pay when that happened. Instead, the package proceeded and delivery failed when the lobby where my daughter was staying declined payment. I was informed at ups.com about the need to pay, but the link provided to do so wasn't functioning that day, and I didn't want to wait until it came back. I called this store; Piyush said that although he couldn't get the payment done himself, that if I came in, he could assist me calling a UPS customer number that supports store personnel, that readily reach a human being (vs. their standard phone tree, where that seems practically impossible). He placed the call from the store's portable phone, immediately reached a person who understood what I needed and initiated a transfer to the international expert. At that point (since there was a wait), Piyush told me I could take the phone wherever I wanted in the store to finish what I needed. Throughout all this he made it clear that he intended to help me get done what I needed to do. I was quite impressed; without his help, I suspect I would have had several unproductive and frustrating calls and website visits! Way to make me comfortable, and put the customer first! read more

Quick service for returning Amazon stuff. Friendly employees who have some hustle and seem to care about taking care of the customers. Not something you'd expect from most UPS stores. The notary public at this location would not accept my military ID. I pointed out that this is a valid government issued photo ID. She checked with someone using FaceTime who also thought that military IDs are insufficient forms of ID. Imagine how you'd feel if the ID that usually opens doors and grants privileges is suddenly being considered an unacceptable form of ID. I had to drive home to fetch my passport. In addition to being a waste of time I find this to be a slap in the face. I'd recommend staying away from this store altogether. read more

Closes before posted time. Walked up today, 2:58pm Sunday and closes the door in my face. He says sorry we are closed. Yes it was at closing time but this is the 3rd time in 3 months this store closed early that I know of. Other times it was closed at least 15 minutes early. New management of this location is disingenuous. They said I should shipped 2-day, or 3-day to ensure my package arrives on time. They wouldn't tell me when I asked the estimated delivery day if I opted for GROUND shipment instead. Since I ship to this location on a regular basis i chose GROUND. A couple of days later using my tracking number I checked that the package arrived 7-days before my deadline. It's sad that the previous owners sold this UPS Store to those that feel that they can treat their business like a flea market. We have been coming to this UPS store for 20 years. It's not the closest to our location, but we always received great customer service and were often recognized. Typically take my Amazon returns to Kohl's, but Amazon has been weird lately. So I took my two returns to this UPS store. I misread my instructions for my return and the Box wasn't taped. So the wonderful clerk, whom I gave not seen before said I could buy tape from them to seal the box!!!!! What???? Unbelievable! I think the previous owners must have sold the business because this is horrible treatment. They would d he ave simply helped us out and taped it. Needless to say, I will not be going to this UPS store ever again. read more

I have never actually had a problem during any of my visits here and since my recent experience saved my life, I thought I'd write a review. This review is certainly long over due. I've been a customer for many years now and every time I do come for any services, it has always been pretty pleasant. The employees are relatively quick, so you'll be in and out in less than 5 minutes. I came by earlier today to get my essay printed for class, due to my printer breaking, THE DAY OF MY PRESENTATION/DUE DATE, I rushed to UPS and got it printed for less than $3 and out the store in time for class! I highly recommend coming here for any services, especially if you're in a rush, things will be done quick! Little to no wait time and all prices, for shipping, shipping supplies, etc are really cheap! read more

I went in to this UPS store to mail a letter and the guy working there said I would have to buy a book of stamps to mail one letter. I called a few order UPS stores and they all said that they would be able to buy a stamp to mail one letter. BEWARE, this store is trying to get you to spend more and not give you the services that they offer. its ok if you have some simple drop off's. But boy sometimes the co workers look very unhappy(could be wrong). I get it I'm sure its a tough to run a business but, its ok to say hello every now and again. at the moment there's no need to go here this place just went down hill not sure why. the employees were quick and now seems like a whole new staff. I needed a notary but after 15 min of standing and without anyone saying will be right with you. i just left did not feel comfortable. i hope they change. its just not a nice place to go to anymore. read more

I took odor eliminator bottle over to return as instructed by Amazon. Your employee told me UPS doesn't accept it and he wanted me to go home and call Amazon. I asked him why he didn't talk to Amazon to straight it out as it takes me 30 min coming back and forth with this bottle. He refused, and said he is not Amazon and he is UPS. What logic is this. You UPS and Amazon has agreement on what you should take and not. It is between you and Amazon to resolve your problem ! I am the customer!!! Since when I have to do your job!!! Things have really changed at this store, and I'll never go back and neither should you, and here is why: I went to mail a package in early December and had the same experience I've always had; wonderful. I was clear about wanting to know the exact arrival of my package as it was winter clothes for a 3 year old, and it was December with holiday shipping in full swing. He GUARANTEED my package to be delivered on Monday. He stated how great that was because of the season, but said he could GUARANTEE it for Monday for 23$. In Denver, the location of the delivery, on Monday the package was marked as out for delivery and later that night it was updated as delayed. This was repeated Tuesday and Wednesday although UPS trucks came to the complex 7 times in those 3 days. The receiver placed a hold on the package and collected it herself on Thursday from the distribution center. I returned to The UPS store on Thursday to inquire about a refund and was greeted by a short, balding, heavy-set man who was immediately combative to my questions. There were several other customers in the store who began to take notice when I tried to explain I was told it was a guarantee and UPS failed in what I was told. He became irate and started screaming at me "This was a estimated delivery date and not guaranteed, so I'm not giving you anything!" I was in shock. There was no explaining or discussing -- just an full verbal attack at me as I tried to explain what I was told. At this point I begin to walk away and I see the clerk who orginally helped me and I say, "Oh, there he is, the guy who helped me! Let's ask him." The short portly man launches into a screaning rant for me to "Get the F out of his store" as I am trying to get out as quick as possible while onlooks are in shock at his behavior- the entire store fell silent as they watched him continue to SCREAM vulgar sentiments at me as I approached the door. At this point I say "I'm changing my Yelp! review today!" Which really set him off because he screamed "F you, don't ever come back!" As the door closed behind me. This is by far the most terrifying experience I've ever had in a place of business. His instant rage and subsequent verbal attack of me was not only unacceptable, but threatening. Use USPS, they were on-time, cheaper, and can't tell you to "F-off" for questions. read more

Service is great at this place whenever the owner and his son are working the store. There's another young man who I think is new, he is very professional and polite. Unfortunately, the owner's daughter, and the owner's son-in-law are horrible employees. I won't even go in the store if I see them working. They are extremely rude and not worth my business.
