The best UPS store around! Where do I start? Tania Lal, the owner, is one of the most service-oriented professionals I have worked with. She has gone above and beyond over and over again in the past year that we've been working with her. We found her through a Yelp printing request on a fast turnaround project. She delivered a stellar product with expedited and delightful service. She earned our business and we have since handed over all of or printing needs. We had one issue where one of her outside vendors got the specs wrong and she immediately corrected the error and had the reprint done. I cannot recommend this store highly enough. read more

Needed to drop off an Amazon return package and this was the closest location to Santana Row where we stopped for dinner. It is located in a strip mall, between a Thai restaurant and a pizza place. There is generally a lot of parking in the strip mall but at that time of day, just before 7pm, the parking lot was full since there are a lot of places to eat there. There was almost no one in the UPS store and it was just before closing. I step up to the counter and show them my code. There were 2 people behind the counter and both of them stepped forward to scan but they could not decide who would scan my code. Both of them were, " you go', ' no, you go'. After 4 times of this, I picked one and asked them to scan the code. The woman behind the counter, under cover of her mask mind you, mumbles about how rude I was. They could not a simple decision about who would scan my code and she then had the audacity to take offense. Not worth the stop. You should take your business elsewhere if you want someone who can make basic decisions on how to help their customers and does not then turn on the customer! Update - the business owner commented on my review that I interrupted an associate, when they were helping another customer, when I found my code, that I could not initially find and that if I am in a hurry, they offer a kiosk. True, I could not initially find my code but when I saw people in line, I stepped aside to find my code. Bottom line is that if I am in a hurry, I should go else where because the associates not being able to make up their minds on who should help is the opposite of helpful and timely. Note that the owner never addressed the indecision (and hence holding up people) or calling me rude in front of other customers but is gaslighting me about what the real issue is. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Jeweler paid for 2nd day air and sent to UPS store for secure pickup. Have done this before. Today, arrived and told by clerk package not there. Provided tracking- then told it was there. Brings it out- has ticket - handwritten $5.00 pickup. I ask why this cost. Asked for written bill for service. Clerk says "for delivery" I ask to speak with Owner- who is there badmouthing another employee. Owner threatens to keep my package if I don't pay her "fee" I ask why being charged and she starts screaming at me about her overhead costs. Said I wanted her policy in writing- she doesn't have it. Package needed signature on their pad which said O.00 cost. She then made up a "package only size fee" cost. I paid it -but knowing this is not right. DO NOT GO HERE! She mad dogged me. She was rude and argumentative. read more

This is my go-to UPS as they accept returns without packaging. Whenever I go, they are quick and courteous. Today i went around 1:30pm and a gentleman was ready to greet and help me right away where sometimes i feel like i have to wait. And there were 2 other people working so definitely didnt feel understaffed. It was also cool inside and felt clean and organized. Def recommend this UPS! read more

I was in two separate UPS stores in San Jose in the last two days: the Saratoga Ave location and the Stevens Crk Blvd location. Talk about night and day service. They couldn't have been more different. One was curt, bland, and made me feel like I was an interruption. And the other has Denee. Denee was amazing at the Stevens Crk Blvd location! She was friendly, personable, warm, and generous of spirit. She was quick and efficient with my shipping needs, and carried on a nice conversation with me that felt honest and genuine. It was a service level experience that reminded me of what good service was like back in the late-80s/early-90s. She was THAT good. Highly recommend using Tania for printing services. I'm getting married this year and she helped bring my vision for my wedding invitations to life. She responds really quickly and helped make adjustments to my design to make sure it looked its best for print. She printed on beautiful high quality paper, put together all 100 of the invitation suites, printed addresses on all my envelopes on nice envelopes, and mailed them out for me. Her prices are much lower than using a typical wedding invitation print company. Forgot to tape my box before coming in. They told me they would charge $3 (equivalent to what an entire roll of tape costs) to tape the box. $0.50 I can understand but $3? I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this UPS Store. I went in to drop off an Amazon return, and while my package was properly boxed, I had forgotten to seal it with tape. Instead of offering a simple piece of masking tape--something that takes seconds to apply--the employee refused to accept the package unless I paid a ridiculous $3 fee for strip of tape. This is pure nickel-and-diming and terrible customer service. UPS employee showed unhelpful attitude and an unreasonable charge for something that should be a basic courtesy. If you're looking for good customer service, I'd recommend avoiding this location. There are plenty of other places that won't gouge you for something as minor as a piece of tape. UPS should seriously reconsider these kinds of policies--or at the very least, train employees to be a bit more customer-friendly. read more

I think the only time I was disappointed was when they wouldn't help me tape up a package and required I buy packaging tape instead.
