This is such a great location; the best UPS store I've experienced in the area. Even though it's out of the way for me,I'll drive there or save my returns to "Big A" for when im going to be in downtown Santa Clara. I appreciate the longevity of the staff - they all seem to know what they're doing. Bbusiness is quick and efficient. When i go, I'm always happy to see a worker there named Dre because I'm greeted with kindness & professionalism, and, as described above, he moves quickly, knows what he's doing, and has been extremely helpful in the past. It is ALWAYS a nice experience to deal with someone who seems to like their job. It's what shows in the way he and the other staff there treat the public. I second Nera V's comment regarding the rude man working there. I just went in to retrieve a package and the gentleman helping me was nice and friendly but the man that gave Nera attitude gave me the rudest sneer; he walked towards me like he was going to take over the transaction, gave me this judgmental and disrespectful glare, and walked away. It was so uncalled for. I'm not sure if it was because I had a face mask on but he made it very apparent he was judging me for something. I felt very uncomfortable and don't feel comfortable returning if judgment is passed on me for saying "Hi, I'm here to pick up a package." read more

Moved to the area at the top of year. This is the closest location. Positives first. It's very clean and in order. Workers are very knowledgeable. I usually have Amazon returns but have needed to print and scan on occasion. Everyone is nice. Seems to be the same few people working there. Negatives. She helped me with technical issues, without making me feel stupid. In between she attended to other customers, it was busy. The other girl working was also very kind. I only use UPS stores to drop off packages. I ship about one per day, on average. I normally go to a different location, but went here one day around 2pm, because it was on my way to Costco. I had a prepaid Next-Day Air package to ship. They scanned it in and I left. The next day I found out that they never gave the package to the driver. So my package was late and my customer, who specifcally bought my item because I could ship it next day, was mad. I won't be back. read more

This UPS Store is FIVE stars in my book as this is one of the BEST UPS places I've ever used. Not only are owners very nice folks, but the staff they've hired keep me going there even though it's not the closest one to my home or work. Especially impressive are 'Daniel' & 'Vik'. I do a fair amount of returning to Amazon, and it's sometimes difficult to understand Amazon's proper return procedure while executing the process from a cellphone. I've found myself at the UPS counter messing up the whole thing and the codes I get don't work. When I've done this, each if these guys, at different times, have calmly & methodically taken the time to help me navigate the process, shown me how to click all the right buttons - even while helping other customers - at the same time! That smoothly executed Multi-tasking shows a competence level that is difficult to find in service personnel. It's what keeps ME using this store (although THE STAFF may not be so pleased to see me coming...hahaha). Anyway, "Thanks" Franklin Mall UPS Store, and all y'all in there!! read more

I was incredibly stressed out due to having to pack up and haul and ship heavy boxes. Plus I was in pain after hurting my back. My friend who I was helping with her daughters dorm room wanted me to bring the boxes all the way down to Salinas to the train station for shipping (which I did not want to do!) , and so I was doing a lot of negotiating back-and-forth with her via text, trying to estimate differences, AND my credit card was declined because it ended up costing a lot more. And in the midst of all of that, Daniel was my hero! Not only did he haul those heavy boxes out of my car and take care of all of the labeling and tape the boxes better, but he was beyond helpful, patient and kind. Somehow he managed to efficiently accommodate all the other customers in line and help me. And of course all of this with the Covid complications etc. He was truly amazing and I am beyond grateful! read more

On Friday July 10th around 4pm, I dropped off 2 packages for amazon return on the same day, same time. Per amazon code, both items were scanned and I have received the receipt showing both items were scanned and returned. I get an email from Amazon the following days saying only ONE item was received. The other item was never scanned nor have even left the facility. The tracking status shows "label created". Now I am on 2 hour wait time with UPS customer service to figure out what happened to the item I returned and scanned to go to Las Vegas. The UPS customer service told me to start the claim. However, it is extremely complicated as I keep getting error message that since I didn't pay for this return, the account number associated with this package does not match payment information with one provided in the profile. Now I wasted my time on driving and dropping off the ups package, wait a long time, call the ups customer service, call again to sort this error message, and no one providing answers or solutions. Due to one employee's mistake, this just became a nightmare and I have to pay for his consequence. read more

It's strange to write a review for the UPS store (as I'm not someone who usually needs to go to one that often). However, every time I go here, it is such a pleasure. Sure, for me, it's a super convenient location so I'd likely choose it regardless. However, every employee I've encountered there is always so nice, and they always know how to properly handle what you need.
