The UPS Store in Saratoga is a gem. Even though it's tucked into the downtown strip, parking is a breeze with lots of available spots nearby. I came in with three large bags of unpacked items just 15 minutes before closing, and Samual could not have been more helpful or kind. He took the time to help me find the perfect-sized box for my oversized shipment, let me use the tape roll without hesitation (which some stores can be stingy about), and made sure everything was secured properly. His professionalism and positive attitude made the whole process stress-free. One especially charming touch: a wall filled with Polaroids of dogs who've visited the store--including his own! You will find the clerks to be friendly, efficient and intelligent! Parking is on the street or across the street in a large parking lot or in the lot behind the store. Quick, friendly, and never more than 1-2 other customers. You can drop off your Amazon packages ;) and buy stamps! Parking can be tricky right on Big Basin Way, so I recommend parking in the back lot. There is an entrance from the back so you can bring your packages that way. read more

Maria and Jas were just what the doctor ordered--along with two IPAs down the street at the Burger Bar--to kick off my Saturday night in Saratoga. Maria was so patient and helpful; I forgot my reading glasses, so I even asked her to read part of my paperwork. Both ladies are notaries--not easy to find at the last minute on a weekend before closing. Jas was so polite and positive...on the phone and in person. This is an "essential" store for the City of Saratoga to mix with the trendy shops and restaurants in the Village. Locals and tourists alike need a notary and a fax from time to time, right? Unfortunately, this UPS location is terrible. They are often busy, they will ignore you and could care less whether you're even in the door. I waited 20 minutes and the gentleman behind the counter did not say one word to me, estimate when he may or may not be able to help me Etc. I had my wine shipment sent to this location for pickup. I picked up the next day and was charged $20 for them to "hold" my shipment for 1 day. Even if I had picked up my shipment the same day it arrived it would have been $10. I found out this is the policy of THIS store not a UPS policy. This is my neighborhood UPS store. Ripping people off with erroneous charges. I will no longer give them my business. I hope others will not as well. read more

Yes, there are times when there are other people in there and it may take some time, but they are professional in giving each customer adequate attention. We receive our mail and packages here and this has been flawless. Sometimes there are issues with the shipper, but I'm clear on the difference between this store and UPS corporate. The store owner and her staff are friendly and will stop to chat if no one else is in the store. Went to mail a box today after checking cost online and was surprised when it was considerably more than what the online estimator said. They explained that they were trained to add 1" to every dimension of the box - so of course, it was charging me for a larger box than I was shipping. I took it to a second UPS store where they measured the box and charged me by the actual measurements. Avoid this downtown Saratoga store if you want correct shipping rates. read more

Went into this UPS to drop off a an item that came with a prepaid UPS label. I asked for a single strip of shipping tape to seal the box together and the employee stated, "we do not provide that service to customers for free." She offered to sell me a roll for $8. I feel that's absolutely ridiculous that a shipping and packaging store would not supply a single strip of tape. This is a common place item the post office supplies to customers. read more

I use this store all the time and I've always been impressed by their excellent service. The owner is amazing and definitely takes the time to make sure you get what you want. I know UPS deliveries can sometimes get frustrating but those deliveries have nothing to do with the store. They have been able to solve all of the problems I've had with UPS and provide me with all of the other services I need to run my home office. Love the spacious parking out back. Downtown Saratoga is known for being notoriously boring, narrow, and dead. BUT I felt like I stepped into a whole new world when I discovered the ample amounts of parking behind Big Basin Way! This place gets so much crap for "bad service" and what not, but hey...treat folks as you would like to be treated, and see how that turns out for ya! I came a little after lunch time when it was pretty dead and with only one other person in front of me, I had no problem waiting. I was shipping my Amazon Textbook Rental via UPS, so it was going to be an easy transaction. The efficient lady at the register was very patient with her slower customer and reassured me that she'd help me very soon. Thanks girl! I have been going to this UPS Store for years and this review is long over due. This is a very efficient store that quickly processes all your packaging needs especially Amazon drop offs. I have also had exemplary service for Notary services. During this COVID times, the safety protocols are in place with separate entry and exit doors. There is plenty of parking at the back to avoid the traffic in the downtown. I must add that Rinkoo has always been a friendly face and always goes out of her way to help! You can't pack packages here. They charge for boxes which isn't allowed and not permitted by UPS policy. They won't print a label for you either. I'm NEVER going here again read more
