After visiting this post office countless times for several years, I figured it deserved a long overdue review because it's really unlike any post office I've been to in the Bay Area. Plus I just have to share my appreciation for it during the Holidays because we all know that the post office is crazy the weeks leading up to Christmas! It's a tiny post office, one window and only one employee. Every time I've come here to mail something or buy stamps, it's always a calm and pleasant experience, unlike the bigger post office down the street on Hamilton which often has a long queue. Service is typically friendly and efficient here. Big thank you to Maria, who has helped me get stamps and mail out several packages over the past couple of weeks. She's friendly and very helpful! Keep in mind this small post office is closed from 11am-noon everyday for a lunch break, and also closed on the weekends and holidays. read more

The Heritage post office is awful. Nobody every answers the darn phone. I went in there and ask why they never answer and they said they had the phone ringer turned down! How is anyone supposed to contact them? They don't put packages in the lockers anymore due to break ins, but how are people who have full time jobs supposed to get their packages if they can't get there before 4:00 pm. This Post office has gone downhill fast! I was supposed to receive a piece of mail last Saturday that has still not made it to my PO box! I recently got a package that was delivered over a year ago-lost in the building I imagine-I had already taken it up with the company but geez!! I am a PO box holder (x 15 years) and today I could not even access the building which I have never had happen before. What gives?? The employee with the dog does not seem to be around anymore. Arrived at 8:05am to ship a package out before work. Lobby was open but front desk was still closed. Waited a few minutes but no sign of them opening. Good thing he's not married and better yet he doesn't attempt to be employed in a place that really matters. I will explain further to multiple layers up! He doesn't run the post office again he's merely a functionary who needs to be written up or dismissed! A few years back I was having a friendly debate with some Mormons who engaged me several times prior. Martin decided he didn't like the engaging ( which was nowhere near him or the window) and " instructed " me not to engage them and that he would ban me, a customer mind you, and 3O years his elder from a business he merely works for! He doesn't run the post office, me, the Mormons nor anyone else who uses and pays for the post offices agreed service , such as my PO Box I've had there for over 2O years. He's hypocritically selective about what is and isn't his business. I could sue the business and teach him a lesson as he's the Poster boy this week for displaced functionary. I could easily show him what a fool he is if I deposed him. He didn't have any issue meddling in something that was none of his business 3 years ago.... But ask him to call a guy whose P.O. Box is right by mine to recover shoes I purchased accidentally sent to another box, forget it , that's not his or the post office's problem. I stopped by first thing this morning to get information on what I should do with a passport that came with a spelling error, that I ordered under the emergency status ($300+). I had already done a tiny bit of research online but went to the post office because this is where I did the application in the first place. He talked to me for less than 30 seconds, "call the state, they answer after 9:30" and gave me the # for the post office. Really sad lol read more

This Post Office truly goes above and beyond. The postmaster named Sonny has personally helped me on multiple occasions. We are a high volume postal customer, and find that we may get better rates with Fedex, but we stick with USPS simply because of the service that we have. Our carriers are all awesome, and the upper management, although understaffed, truly goes out of their way to be helpful. Friendly staff, great hours, effective and efficient to mail your packages. I showed up totally clueless and the clerk working always helps lend me some tape and label my packages. They are closed from 11-12, I believe, so just check the hours prior to going. This post office is the first one to open in the morning (8:00 AM) in the Campbell area. read more

Was happy to see this location opens early, so was able to get in around 8:45 on a Monday morning. But was then pretty disappointed and annoyed that the employee did not have a mask on, and made no attempt to put one on when I came in to drop off a package and pay for shipping. We are indoors, we are within 2 feet of each other, how is this even a debate at this point? Will not be using this location again. read more

Best post office around albeit a tiny one - usually one person (Donna) at the window. Nice folk, very helpful and they take the time to greet you and HELP you. Sometimes this means a slightly longer wait than you may be used to, but you will LOVE the service you receive. read more

I love the town of Campbell and this little post office makes me love it a little bit more. Walked in and initially thought the queue must be around the corner because there was no line. Only a guy behind a window - watching me walk around the corner looking for the line. I chuckled and handed over my package (what can I say - post office experiences in San Francisco are just much MUCH different). The gentleman told me I could save $1.25 if I put the package in an envelope. Which he proceeded to do - cutting the label off my box with an exacto knife, putting the box inside an envelope and re-attaching my label to the outside with tape. All while I was standing there with my mouth agape. Walked out with a smile on my face. When does that ever happen when visiting a post office. read more

Theres a person there who claims he runs the business there is no manager and apparently his name is Alex. He's very rude and incompetent. Disconnected the call on me when I asked for a manager. When I called back he told me he was done helping me and there was no manager, even though I had more questions. He told me it was a one person job and he was the only person who works there. I don't know if it's his real name or not ( i swear he answered with a different name) but he's needs to learn customer service or get another job. He's very rude and as someone who works in customer service I was really offended. This is the post office closest to my work. I go here during my lunches if I gotta return a few things from shopping online :P I rarely bring tape or any labels or. My packages are usually put together while I am at the post office. They usually make me buy a label or 2 for like couple bucks, which is fine. My overall experience at this post office is usually pretty okay. Today was a game changer though. Alex helped me ship out 2 packages today. I had 1 package ready but he still taped my label over for me to make sure everything stays in place. Usually if someone does that for me they lecture me about how I used the wrong tape and etc. That was seriously so nice of him. I also had another package to ship out but it was all open and messed up and pretty ugly honestly, but Alex just taped that as well and even gave me receipt paper to write my return address!! I also had an address label I was going to ask him as a favor to tape it for me, but he did everything without me having to ask!! He was super friendly and the most helpful and nicest post office person I have ever encountered. Seeing him just literally made my day better and I left the post office feeling pretty upbeat... which rarely happens because going to the post office kinda feels like a less bad version of a trip to the DMV.. Some bozo messed up the delivery address when I ordered something off of Amazon and when I called Amazon to rectify the situation they called the US Postal Service and they sent me here. When I got here the guy told me I had to go to the actual Post Office about a mile away cos they only service P.O. Boxes there, and he had no idea why everybody kept on getting referred there. The service and personal feel of this post office is the best. I arrived here late one day as they had just closed as I was not aware of the hours. The postal worker, was wonderful, helpful, and even directed me to a UPS store as I needed to get my package out asap. I did end up waiting another day and mailing it from this location however. As another reviewer noted, sometimes the line can be a little wait, because there is one person working the counter and actually taking time to help people in a meaningful way not just routely reading scripts or trying to get you out as fast as possible without making sure you got what you needed. read more

Watch out for Donna, I took a package in there and she first tried to charge me around $18. I didn't go for that and then got 1st class for around $5. I know the post office operates at a multi billion dollar deficit (which we as citizens subsidize), but gouging customers is blatently abusive and is not to be tolerated. This post office is ruining my business and my life. I recently moved here from Los Angeles, and have a successful home Internet-based retail business. I use stamps.com, and ship ALL my orders USPS, about $500/$1000 a month paid in postage. I never had ANY problems before, but this post office loses packages, doesn't check in the packages I've dropped off for DAYS- which when tracked, makes it look like I didn't ship on time. This post office's negligence had cost me hundreds of dollars in refunds and replacements. They can't even handle a scheduled pick up- which I should've guessed- I had to leave town for a death in the family and I scheduled a pick up for Monday morning, and I received a notice that they couldn't find the packages... JEEZ!!! Not sure if this is a local or warehouse issue, but I'm going to have to switch to UPS or something. DO NOT use this service! read more

Horrible post office! The first time I sent out a letter it never got to its destination. I sent my niece a Valentine's card she is only 12 years old, and we sent her $25 (which is a lot for a kid). I will not be using this post office again. I do believe in karma though, my niece is my late brothers daughter, his only child. The only piece we have left of him. So I hope the guy or woman who took advantage of this pink realizes that there is more than just a hello to everything that comes in and out. read more

Now I know why the US postal service is struggling - the workers don't understand the concept of service. I tried three different times to schedule an appointment to renew my son's passport. Each time I call the man that answered gave me an excuse that he couldn't schedule an appointment because the woman that worked with the passports wasn't there; they didn't have the page in the appointment book, call back Monday (on Memorial Day?); can you call back later the gal is busy with someone else; the next time no one answered the phone at all; and finally the guy answers again to tell me they are booked until July and not taking anymore appointments. I said that how they manage appointments is unreasonable. He answered by telling me to go to another office that takes walk-ins in Fremont or Livermore (really?!); there's nothing he could do about the book being full, he couldn't take someone else's name out and put mine in (I didn't ask him to, by the way) and then he hung up. Needless to say, I won't be making my appointment there. I predict the USPS will be out of business within 5 years. They really need to get their scheduling online! read more
