Long Story Longer: I'm a graphic designer and illustrator, and I was looking for a local business to make prints of my drawings/paintings for an upcoming craft fair. I had been working with a different printer, but their rates were expensive, and to be honest I wasn't satisfied with the thin paper they were using. I searched for printers on Yelp and found Express Copy & More, and I'm so happy I did! Fast forward about a year, and today I am a loyal customer. The owner, Jandark, is a lovely person all-around. She prints my work on acid-free, thick "cover" paper that is a huge step up in quality from the prints I was ordering from a different business. In terms of pricing, her rates are absolutely fair and affordable. Also, she's friendly and a joy to work with. It's a happy part of my day when I get to visit her, pick up my prints, chat a bit, and take home a piece of chocolate (or two, or three) from the bowl of candy on her desk. I was excited to order from the small business for a personal order. I placed the order online and saved it prior to placing the order. I was contacted by who I assume the owner is and asked if I was ready to move forward and she would send an invoice. The next day she followed up advising about the invoice once more. I submitted payment the following day which was Wednesday, I advised that I didn't need it until Friday anyhow. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE to start. The lady confirmed payment and that was that. Now I did not ask for an ETA as I totally spaced, but Wednesday evening I sent an email asking if my order was in process as I had changes, Thursday morning she advised the order was sent to production, Great mo problem again Great Customer Service. Still no ETA provided though! Once again I failed to ask as well. Friday is here and it's approx 10:30 almost 11 I pull up, no one is there or nonone answered at least ok that's fine I call and the lady states the order isn't ready and that she's not in the tooffice but have to stop by the office and check. I hung up to then call back expressing that I requested next day service and she advised it was in production yesterday morning so I was confused why it still wasn't ready. She was very defensive making it my fault that I hadn't communicated or requested an ETA. Instead of apologizing and advising that you know, unfortunately there was no communication requesting an ETA but that it would be ready at this time. She in a condescending tone asked me several times if I was okay. I was extremely calm. I was extremely firm but calm. This conversation only led to her hanging up then texting me. It was an extremely unprofessional. Even after my husband picked up the order that should have been the end of it. However, she decided to text me. And even I have screenshots of our messages because I'm sure she's going to reply to this Yelp review. If I could give it zero stars I would Keep in mind I also blocked her to avoid going back and forth. read more

I feel like 5 stars isn't enough to give to this shop! I was looking to print 100 bookmarks sized 2x6 & was checking prices through online printing services and some large name printing services around me before I reached out to this shop. I requested a price quote for my order through their online form & Jandark emailed me with the quote promptly. They had the best quote for what I needed. I stopped by to the shop in person to finalize & pay my order - you can pay online, but I decided to come in person to ask for input on my design. The shop was a cute little shop, tucked inside what looked like an art studio. Jandark was always professional & friendly throughout my interactions with her whether it was through emails & in person. She was very communicative & responsive with my order. My bookmarks were ready in 2-3 days. They were packed in a box nicely when I went to pick them & the bookmarks looked so much better than I had expected. I couldn't be any happier with the result. Then to my surprise, as I was putting the tassels on the bookmarks, I found out Jandark had given me extra 20 bookmarks! What a pleasant surprise! Now I need to get 20 more tassels to put on them. I've told my friends about the shop in case they need to get some print work done. She provided me with the most affordable rates compared to any other businesses. We already had 4 large post card mailer projects with over 5,000 post cards printed and mailed through Express Copy and More. Jandark is very responsive via email with immediate confirmation. They also compare mailing lists to avoid any duplicate mailings which is so helpful. She is very friendly and easy to work with and the post card quality was terrific. After every project has completed, Jandark sends proof of mailing through USPS. Just today she was able to accommodate a last minute same day print job and deliver within 4 hours. Went here because the copy center at work is closed until we go back to working from the office, and I needed a couple hundred pages printed on color laser. Here was the trick: I also had to print some stuff on card stock that I provided my self. Chris helped me setup the page and make sure it was all setup correctly to print on the Avery 5390 card stock. He printed a test page and everything was perfect. My cards came out WAY better than I expected. They offer tons of other services including mail box services, signs, brochure printing, blueprints and more. Do yourself a favor, patronize these local good folk. I drove past probably 3351 (ok maybe not THAT many) other "Chain" copy and mail places to go to Express Copy And More because they care about their customers. Help keep them going strong! They offer a full-line of printing services in a clean and efficient space. I was stuck at the San Jose Building Department, needing an emergency printout of a blueprint. Staples was far away, and I had no car, having taken public transportation. I randomly found this Express Copy and More business that was merely just up the street. Yikes, I rarely head north on Santa Clara by foot and found it actually really cool, hip, and safe. The person in the shop was clear, competent, and extremely patient, and the price was a bit cheaper than that of Staples because there's no charge for an express fee. There was no drama;it was easy and quick to obtain a printout. I noticed that their prices for other printing was a bit cheaper than than my go-to printers in West San Jose. I saw some parking spaces along the side streets and will consider using this office for future print jobs. They do have a $5.00 minimum for credit card usage, but many local businesses normally do that anyway. Jan & Chris helped me with multiple projects for my wedding this past week! I've been working with them for the past 4 weeks or so and they've been great with communication and extremely helpful during the design and print process. I printed labels for 180+ party favors, 180+ menus, 18 table name cards, 180+ escort cards and 2 large color cat photos for photobooth props.
