Today the owner, Hassan, helped me to painstakingly remove many layers of tape from some posters in order to create a flat/smooth surface before laminating. The posters were old and he handled them like they were valuable antiques, taking his time as to avoid damaging them. He easily could have told me to bring the posters back for lamination after I removed all of the tape myself. He didn't have to help me with any of that at all. He really went above and beyond even though laminating only cost $5.00 each (11" x 17"). These days it's so rare to receive such amazing customer service at any type of business. Nearing the date of the wedding, my husband and I finally got around to working on the last min details. We decided to make our own table numbers with the menu on the back and seating chart print outs on Canva. We were looking around for a business that does quality printing and found Pine Press. When I got to the shop, the owner helped me pick out the type of paper I can print them on and he has quite the selection. We also printed out a lot of pictures as well for our welcome table. I needed to print some wedding stationary and they were able to have my order ready for pickup on the same day, literally within 4 hours. The process was very seamless and straightforward. I gave Hassan a USB containing pdf files of my digital designs, selected cardstock (80 lb classic linen) from their many options, and confirmed final details of the print (size, 2 sided, etc) before paying for the order. I had a wonderful experience using this business. I had a 90 year-old photograph of my grandparents that had gotten stuck to flypaper and was slowly being ruined. They said they could scan it and print high-quality copies for me. They not only did what they promised, but the results were nothing short of spectacular! Hassan and Pine Press did an absolutely beautiful job on the direct mail postcard project I brought to them. I'd hired someone on Fiverr to design the postcard, not realizing that Pine Press also offers these services. I like Fiverr a lot, but with the service, you're often dealing with someone in another country and a time zone very far off from your own. I'd gone back and forth with that designer a few times. While I was happy with the work, there were a few tweaks that still needed to be made. I have zero experience with Adobe products, so I wasn't going to be able to make the changes myself. Hassan was able to take the source file and make every change needed. Not only that, but he made the mailer look even more professional with a permit imprint and by merging the addresses directly onto each postcard. (If I'd done the addressing myself, I would have used stamps and mailing labels, and it would have been nowhere near as professional looking.) The postcards themselves are gorgeous--bright, crisp printing on a heavy weight cardstock, with a glossy finish. And the pricing was very reasonable. While at the store, I saw samples of work done for realtors and other businesses. All of Pine Press's work is of excellent quality. I'm looking forward to my next project with them! read more

I had an urgent need to get many documents culled out 6 folders in numbered sequence, 4 copies created, and a pdf file created. I debated doing it myself at a big box copy service. I needed a 350-page book printed and bound the same day (really, within a couple hours), and Hassan took care of me immediately. It was a job that should/would have taken 1-2 days, but he was able to turn it around in one hour, dropping everything he had going on, as I had an emergency (the book was going to be taken to to a family member in India who was in the hospital). When the book came out, it was perfect, but I ended up trying to fill in a couple of specks on the cover with a black pen (don't know what I was thinking), which ruined the cover, as the shiny ink shone clearly, creating a mess. I apologized and begged Hassan to print another book, which I would have happily paid for. Instead, Hassan printed another sticker to go on top of the one I messed up, and ultimately saved me money. On top of that, he also spent a lot of time with me discussing different covers and weights/glosses of paper. Ultimately he led me in the right direction; he knows what he's talking about!
