I needed some priority mail flat rate boxes. The postal worker pointed me in the right direction. I picked out the boxes I needed. It's nice that it's in the mall. I liked how organized they had the boxes. It made easy to find the right size that I needed.

She barely spoke to me but was quick to tap the option of "green happy face" on my behalf. Really an odd experience that seemed not right to chose someone's satisfaction survey after giving poor customer service.

Plus I just have to share my appreciation for it during the Holidays because we all know that the post office is crazy the weeks leading up to Christmas! It's a tiny post office, one window and only one employee. Every time I've come here to mail something or buy stamps, it's always a calm and pleasant experience, unlike the bigger post office down the street on Hamilton which often has a long queue. Service is typically friendly and efficient here. Big thank you to Maria, who has helped me get stamps and mail out several packages over the past couple of weeks. She's friendly and very helpful! Keep in mind this small post office is closed from 11am-noon everyday for a lunch break, and also closed on the weekends and holidays.

I recently got a package that was delivered over a year ago-lost in the building I imagine-I had already taken it up with the company but geez!! I am a PO box holder (x 15 years) and today I could not even access the building which I have never had happen before. What gives?? The employee with the dog does not seem to be around anymore. A few days ago I was heading out my door and heard a honking. I opened the door and there was a postal truck with a guy getting out. It was later in the day. He approached me with a package for someone in my home. He told me that the package had just come in and he wanted to get it to us. He proceeded to tell me his staff had all left for the day so he thought he would do it himself. Wait?!?! Whaaaaat?!?! Your staff all went home and you drove all the way to our house to deliver this package after hours. Whoa! Who does something this awesome in this day and age? We rarely see this level of service anywhere... I asked him his name and he said it is Lamson. Lamson is the postmaster of the San Martin Post Office and this guy deserves to be recognized not only for his high standard of care for people in the community, but his dedication to his job and his high bar of excellence.I thanked him sincerely just blown away that he did this I was so blown away that I went to the Post Office the next day to thank him again and I also feel the necessity to recognize him publicly for who he is to our community. Please remember to thank this person when you stop in the San Martin Post Office. People in his position are always hearing complaints and are dealing with angry customers... especially at the Post Office. This guy needs to hear appreciation from the community for going the extra mile. I am quite sure we aren't the first people to receive his kindness and we won't be the last. People need recognition. IMHO This post…read moreoffice is closest to my home, so it is my go-to. They used to have two exterior mailboxes next to a small drive-thru lane, to drop off your letters. However, it appears that these boxes were often the target of thieves or physically damaged, to the point that they were permanently removed. I'm sorry this convenience is no longer available. Their parking lot is small so go early if you can. Even though the parking lot was full, there were only two people ahead of me in line. I must've been in and out within 5 minutes as I was only buying Christmas stamps. I've always had friendly and helpful postal workers to process my shipments and purchases.

They had me scan a QR code that led me straight to my inbox on my iPhone, where I was able to add an attachment to print the return label that got sent to me. They printed it out and then had me choose a bag to send my return item. Super quick, easy, and only cost me around $3. They do charge an extra 50 cents to use card. I recommend bringing cash!
