Hmmmmm I went to another UPS store & the person greeted me & I let her know I was returning an item & BAM, she said "No problem, we will take care of". No, I will not be going back to the UPS Store on N Santa Cruz anymore!! Twice now fragile items have arrived broken. When I looked inside the boxes in which they were shipped, there was barely any packing material, and there was a lot of empty space in the packages for fragile items to bounce around. To top it off, she didn't even write fragile on the outside of the boxes before shipping. It seems she can get away with this because she'll just direct you to FedEx to get a refund, which is of no use for things that are personal and priceless. She's not liable, even if she packages items shoddily. So if you're going to use this place (which I recommend you don't!), tell her you will wait while she packs up your items so that you can make sure she packages then properly. Or better yet, go elsewhere. Both times she didn't even apologize.

Just as importantly, she's always welcoming, positive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I live in Aptos and gladly make the drive because I know my equipment is in good hands. It's rare to find a business that combines expertise, fair pricing, and such outstanding customer service.
