Seriously the worst Post Office. Location is great for dropping off mail but, our mail carrier is unfriendly and lazy. We've contacted the supervisor numerous times and we've been told "Yes, he is a problem and we're just waiting for him to retire. Unfortunately in the meantime, there is nothing we can do." Lucky us...for years our neighborhood endures days without pick up or drop off and false claims of "attempted delivery", we pay for expedited delivery items and the packages show up days later - even though the shipping websites say "delivered". Another knock on this post office, is there is no automated self service machine in the lobby, therefore you have to wait in a long line for just stamps or mailing prepared packages. read more

Terrible location. I was give. A prepaid shipping label to send back an item and the item was .5 lb more than what it should be and they did not allow me to return it and send it. They also made fun of what I buy and not good people to work with. Avoid this location for good. read more

Wow, rough customer service. I've been unfortunate to have been dealing with Debra, the supervisor of this office, with no resolution on mail delivery. We are going on three weeks. According to the main office the Dell office needs to input our new address because of a new home. According to main office in Los Gatos, "Just give the supervisor at the Dell office a call and she can input into the system, no big deal." Obviously never worked with Debra, everything is a big deal and she wants to expend as little effort and energy in solving problems. Would not input anything and required that we bring down evidence that the home has an address as we stated. The builder sent down the final occupancy permit showing the address as well as the town's sign off but she required a different form. Will not use any common sense and get the mail flowing but sent us back to the town to get a form that she doesn't have a copy of to make sure we get the right thing but thinks its called something like "certified address" and she can't do anything without it. What a cluster, however she has now dug in and won't forward mail. In the meantime we go on week 3 with no mail. I have a much better understanding why the US Postal Service is struggling. They have an archaic system of operations with supervisors that can't seem to make things happen. Its unfortunate because the Los Gatos group was so pleasant and tried to help. read more

Received excellent service today from Anthony. Had to send a package to So. Cal. Anthony went beyond call of duty in helping me - he helped carve out a smaller box from another very craftily and efficiently. Solved my problem with a good old fashioned smile and pride in serving. Best post office ever. All the worker there are always nice, friendly, and helpful. I really hate going to the Post office because of the long line and grumpy customers services, but not here. I feel like this post office they really love their job and they know most of the customer; it like going your favorite coffee place they know what you want and know your name and your order. read more

I was helped by the nicest guy ever yesterday!! His name was Jonathan and I probably have never had a good experience at a post office until coming here. It seemed like people working here didn't hate their job like every other post office. They were efficient, helpful, and super friendly. Just dropped by this post office today at 11 am to mail out a large stack of wedding invitations. There was just one person in line ahead of me, and the USPS counter staff member who helped both of us was extremely friendly, yet also efficient. He helped me verify the postage I had already stamped on my invitations, and even commented that I'd used a few more stamps than needed and recommended reducing the postage amount next time. How often do you hear someone advising you to pay *less* for their service? Best of all, he readily agreed to my request to have the stamps hand-cancelled, saying that he'll take good care of the invitations (whose appearance he also kindly complimented). I came away feeling very assured that I had left my wedding invitations in excellent hands! Two thumbs up for this great USPS experience! read more

I've dealt with my fair share of post offices and I have to say this one has the BEST customer service. They never put you off, they never rush you, and they never hang up on you. Other post offices are so rude and are impatient when you have questions, but this one takes their time to help you find the solution to your issues. The best post office ever........ read more

I always dread going to the post office and avoid it at all costs. I get stressed just thinking about it. Today I had an amazing experience at this location. NO line and William helped me assess which package to use for my shipment and saved me money by using some supplies that he had instead of me having to buy bubble wrap! Our packages have been held for a week because this USPS office mis-delivered a package to our home address. They said they were purposely holding our packages hostage until we return the package that they mis-delivered. We had family members who received the mis-delivered package and didn't realize it was not for us. We returned the mis-delivered package today and finally got our 'held-hostage' packages. Regardless, I do not think it is a professional approach to hold our packages because of the mistake USPS made in delivering package to the wrong address. read more

I've always had good service at the Dell post office. Usually I buy postal money orders and they provide great service. Jonathan has a great sense of humor and makes what usually is a boring process actually entertaining. Other customers have had poor experiences, but that's the nature of public service. Not everyone can always be in 110% happy to greet you mood. I think they do a great job. read more

I submit a "forwarding address" request for my mother-in-law and we received forwarded mail one day, then nothing. So, I submit an inquiry online and received a personal call back from Dee Pennix, manager at this location! Great customer service! Dee was so pleasant and helpful! Makes up for the long lines (20 plus people, no exaggeration) in the post office branches with only 2 people working at the counter (in Alameda, CA, Southshore location). The only reason I'm giving the 3 stars instead of 5 is because of one clerk. I don't know her name unfortunately because I'd like to tell you to avoid her. She is awful! If I based my rating on the customer service of Rico and Michelle they would get 5 stars for sure! They are always friendly and helpful. In fact, I came back to the USPS because of the great customer service of those two. I was using the more expensive mail stores just to get better customer service. I gave this office a chance and Rico and Michelle made it worthwhile. Then along came this new clerk. She was apparently unhappy being pulled from the back to help the growing line of customers and treated me very rudely and was not helpful at all. I can only hope that this inadequate clerk stays in the back of this office and doesn't effect the good work that the rest of the employees are doing there. read more

Funny that before I wrote this, I did a search of Debra, the supervisor of this office, on the reviews and found another complaint very similar to my experience. We simply had the most unpleasant experience with her among any consumer-facing place. We were trying to solve a mail Unable To Forward (UTF) issue which is clearly her office's task according to the sticker that was attached to the letter. As soon as we explained our problem (an UTF mail that turned into USPS marking the recipient as deceased...I mean WTH?#$%...how does this even happen is beyond my imagination), she began to roller her eyes right in front of us (her customers!!!). Honestly I don't think if you'd still keep your job if someone working at a private business does that to his/her customer. She without any hesitation punted us to the other office (where our old address is associated with) which according to her is responsible for this mess-up. We went there and the supervisor at this USPS office was very willing to help and showed us the exact evidence that this mistake was not made by them but this Campbell office. Then we drove all the way back and tried to talk to her again. She behaved very consistently and exactly as "I DO NOT CARE" and kept rolling her eyes and saying this is someone else's fault. When we mentioned the other supervisor has evidence and left his cell number since he is willing to clarify this issue over the phone with her, and she simply ignored it and continued her denial of responsibility or even any intent to find out what exactly happened. She looks just wanting to spend a bare minimum effort to get by so that she can get to the back of the office and sit through the afternoon. read more

I have lost my tracking number to a return shipment made after Christmas and due to the weather has not been received. I contacted Dell Ave post office and Michelle was more than happy to help me and was able to find my information and printed out my tracking number for me. Very nice and helpful people.
