This Ups store is quick and efficient and very courteous. Dana was especially stand out with my interaction with her. She was following procedures yet still professional and respectful, which I appreciate. PSA: When returning your own packaged box, remember to tape it up so you don't incur a $2.00 fee (unless you don't mind), or bring your wallet or phone with an e-wallet! Sometimes the same message can be said with the exact same words yet the delivery hits you the wrong or right way, and I just enjoy coming here because the genuine tone is consistent with the kind staff and amicable experience. I have dropped off many packages here and should have remembered this, but I know cumulatively all my visits are in and out (even when there is a line) and I always leave feeling completed with a task, and this tiny ups store always gets my return business. Thank You Dana and rest of the staff for your hard word and patience with all the packages you help with. Even if the Trader Joe's parking lot is a little tight or busy during peak times, i still find this UPS store a satisfying task to check off my errands list, and will be back! Edit June 3: It has been two weeks since I posted this and over four weeks since they started withholding my business mail. I emailed corporate per the below request-useless. Both corporate and this store confirmed in writing: all is in order, all the paperwork is completed and paid in full-so they stopped demanding more money (because I didn't owe anything- they messed up). Still my mail is being withheld and no apology or explanation. Folks when you hire UPS as your mail agent they can hold your mail for no reason at all. It seems they want me to remove the negative review/complaint and have stated in writing that they refuse to provide service if I continue to stand on business/stand up for myself. It's extortion . Free my mail! Original Review: For store # 0119 on Los Gatos BLVD in Los Gatos. Do NOT open a UPS store box with these guys. They will not honor their contracts and do not know how to set them up properly. I get like 1 letter every few months and just needed a mailing address separate from my home address for privacy/ease. I paid in full in mid April for 15 months I use an LLC entity (solo member 100% I own it, it's me for federal tax purposes etc) My Dba business name and personal information are all on the UPS Store contract. I've been using the box for a month, getting a mailed letter to my business. Then I get a call a month in mid-May saying they did the setup wrong and they refuse to honor the contract unless I pay $10 extra per month. They are withholding my mail as well. Instead of apologizing for their mistake and being clear about what they messed up so we can fix it; they keep demanding more money and threatening me saying they will not accept my mail. Numerous back and forth calls and emails and so much wasted time because they want $10 more per month after they messed up on setup (apparently- I'm still not clear on what is wrong). Do not use them for a box. The owner's name is Terry. Dana says Terry is aware and condones this kind of treatment of a customer. Also and unrelated whenever I go in to ship something, there is either a long line or super junior person who hasn't been told the information I am asking about. There are worse stores in different areas of the country; but this one is the most aggressively time wasting and the worst one I've used in the Bay Area. As it now stands they stole over $500 from me and are withholding my mail from me. I continue to communicate with them for a resolution and will update. Seems like an old fashioned mob boss style shake-down to me. If they try this on you- don't comply. A contract is a contract and a receipt is a receipt. read more

BEEN COMMING HERE OVER 14 YEARS & it's like going to friends for help/advise. That's a big statement specially for some of you that knew the previous owners or may have had a bad experiences. I looked at some of the old and current reviews of bummer experiences right, but it doesn't relay the quality of their entire business form. If there ever was a problem, they sorted it out, they reached out to me. We worked it out together. Hence, I still go there. Most of my visits all these years have been to notarize many documents sometimes as many as 6. With witnesses. Not fast, fun or simple. If you know about notarizing documents, It's tedious & slow for the Notary to fill out all the required info. Not once did they make me feel like a nuisance or made to feel it was a pain for them to do it. (where I have at other notary places). They interact with regular clients & new clients with warmth and kindness. The reviews that didn't have a good experiences, sorry for you that happened and I get it. For me, the staff care about what you're needing done & simply advise how best to achieve it! Do I expect a dance, and flowers as they do it? Sometimes it's just getting it done in and out, and that's it. Doesn't mean that they were rude or cranky. Just getting on with it. So, this is my Thank You to all at this location over the 14 years, but the new owners and staff today April 2024 are my favorites! Quick stop for dropping an Amazon shipment. Phenomenal and very quick service. Very short turnaround for the associate behind the counter to accept the package , generate the receipt and help me with the ask. The only thing that could have been an issue would be a bad network reception for ATT inside the store while as soon as I stepped outside I was just doing fine with it. I had to login into Amazon to retrieve the return QR code while if I had saved it on my phone it probably would have been much faster and better . This is by far the best shipping experience EVER!!! Dana is my absolute favorite. She is friendly, fast , super helpful and she thinks outside the box (pardon the pun). The owner is often there and he is very friendly and helpful as well. I've gone into their store with high anxiety about not getting items to fit properly in certain boxes and concerned I would have to pay for new boxes and high shipping rates- but they always have a creative solution- and always put me at ease. Hi You responded to my Yelp review online and asked that I supply you with my claim number etc to help in escalating the delivery of my shipment which was initiated from Los Gatos on 11/11. The shipment had an intended destination of San Marcos, CA. Tracking # 1Z9V57450324502992. Claim # 000-05-056139 The initial estimated delivery date was Wednesday 11/13 however when I tracked it on Tuesday morning; the delivery date had been changed to Thursday 11/14 between 10:15 am PT and 2:15 pm PT. The package never arrived.  When we tried to locate it the next day, the delivery window simply said "your delivery date will be updated once available". Fearing the package was lost we called the store to ask for help. After several calls, we were told that it had been confirmed that the package was in San Marcos and it would likely be delivered on Saturday but depending on how many deliveries there were; it may be Monday. This is unacceptable as would be an entire week to get there (which is a 7 hour drive door to door). Hours later, we received a call from someone telling us that the package was lost and that we needed to file a claim with the store that we sent it from. How is this possible? One person said they confirmed it was there and the next tells a completely different story!? Where is my package (which by the way was extremely time sensitive).  Today, the website shows that my package is in Nashville, TN due to a sorting error!!!!! It now shows a delivery date of 11/22.  That means your service that I paid for will in the end have taken 11 days to travel 441 miles.....and that is IF it actually arrives. read more

I just walked out of the UPS Store on Los Gatos Blvd. no wonder the reviews are terrible. This store and its staff are terrible! If I could leave ZERO starts I would! No help as to why a package I mailed from this store over two weeks ago just to Orange County, CA is today in Florida! And the rude lady behind the counter acted as if it was my fault. No help whatsoever and now important and timely documents are now overdue and I'm stuck with a $250 late fee because they have no idea what happened or how to correct it, and didn't even offer to help. The only suggestion was a pre printed 800 number to UPS where I waited over an hour and still no answer. Stay away from this store! Especially w the holidays coming up. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Los Gatos, California

Every time I come here it's inconsistent. UPS works with merchants where you can just bring the box and they'll print out the label and tape up the box. one time they couldn't print anything so I had to go to another UPS store another time I came here and they wouldn't tape the box even though the instructions said to just bring the item in an unopened box . they charged me a dollar for tape. FedEx & USPS do not do that and the instructions are very clear that they would tape up the box, I even had a broken hand and it was hard for me to even bring the boxes there and they could care less. Avoid this UPS store, FedEx down the street is amazing and the UPS store on the other side of the 85 has excellent service. read more

The low reviews are on point! Worst customer service! Came here recently to pick up a package after getting an email alert by the vendor. I arrived to the store two hours after the alert and the agent asked for my name and said the package is not there and immediately blamed truck drivers who scan packages that haven't arrived yet. He told me to return to the store later. Frustrated, I asked him to check by the tracking number instead of my name, and the system shows it was at the store after all!!! The package was located literally 6 feet away from him. This person did not even try to help me and initially told me to come back another time and I would've wasted an extra trip if I didn't stand my ground and had him check the tracking number !! read more

She took my two packages and I asked her when they would be returned to Amazon. Weeks went by and I contacted Amazon, only to find out that they never received the computer. Horrible service. The owner should really hire better staff. The self claimed "Manager" goes by the name of Lorna. I wanted to mail something using UPS ground service. I received the quote on the card reader screen and proceeded to putting in my credit card. I was yelled at because I wanted to use debit instead of credit. After confronting Lorna about her attitude, she cancelled the entire transaction (even though it was already a complete transaction) and refused service. I use to go into this UPS for many years and now that there is new ownership the rules change I guess. I have used UPS with packaging and notary etc. Occasionally I had a small box of quick ship USPS to drop as well and they took it. With the new rules- I could not drop my small box there and was turned away. Just to note, the USPS Truck goes there for pick ups anyway every day. OMG! SCAM!!! I went to this store to have a stained glass lamp packaged, insurance and shipped to my nephew in New York. I was told that the price for this was $650. I shipped it from the UPS store on Big Basin Way in Saratoga. The price was $228. The price from the UPS store on N. Santa Cruz Avenue was also around $220 but they wouldn't insure it. This UPS store near Trader Joe's charges almost 3 times as much as other UPS stores. I would call that a SCAM. I will never go there again. read more

UPS overnight is a joke. But, then again, FEDEX overnight is also a joke. I paid premium $108 to send a small package via UPS to Brooklyn, NY overnight. It arrived 4 days later. The tracking showed that it transited via ground across the country, not air. I inquired about a refund at this store and the clerk told me she'd asked the owner but likely he would not refund if the package arrived within a week. I know of no provider (UPS, Fedex, DHL, USPS) that will truly deliver overnight, so it's a waste of money to "contract" such. And it's understandable why respectable bakeries have discontinued offering shipping when there's no guarantees on shipping times. ah, well. read more

I found out from a severely poor attitude from the manager there (did not catch her name) that they do not make any money off pre paid labels and it is just a service they are required to fulfill. I truly dislike writing poor reviews but after I went to the UPS on Camden and apologized to the teller that it was a prepaid label she said they enjoy customers and that they try to add ancillary items and a positive experience. read more
