I had seen Inikosoft in the building where I had done business in the past and happened to stop in to talk to them about some business cards I needed made and printed. I spoke with Rami, the owner who referred me to his graphic designer Zach. I asked Zach if he could help me make an updated business card for my company. This review is about SEO (search engine optimization), and the outstanding help that I received from Rami Wazi, the president of Inikosoft. For the past 5 years, my wife and I have hosted a Wordpress web site that is designed to teach the Japanese language. We don't charge for our lessons, but we put a lot of effort into the site and would like for it to be visible on Google. Over the past year, the number of visitors to our site had been declining for reasons that I didn't understand, and I decided that I needed help with SEO. The first SEO firm that I found on Yelp told me that they would charge a minimum of $2,500 to help me. So I looked around for an independent SEO contractor on LinkedIn and found two guys in the Bay area. The first one charged me about $700. He was slow and unresponsive (sometimes two months would go by without hearing from him). He made some changes to the web site, but he introduced some coding errors in doing so. He provided almost nothing of value. He did not seem to understand how to improve SEO. Next I tried a second contractor from LinkedIn, who seemed more intelligent and claimed to be developing a software app to improve SEO. I gave him a down payment of $650, and then he did nothing. Eventually he said that he had been in the hospital, but he refused to refund my money. After that I spoke to a man in Pennsylvania on the phone, who claimed that he had invented the term "personal computer" and that he had given advice to the founders of Google when they were just starting out. He spent two hours with me and seemed very kind. He wanted me to pay $2800 per year (much more if I wanted "international" coverage, which I do), and he said that he would guarantee that I would be on the first page of Google Search for any and all search terms. However, after one year had elapsed, I would probably disappear from Google Search. He claimed that 100% of his clients renewed after the first year. How would he achieve these marvelous results? First, he would "clean up the code" on my web page. Second, he would provide me with "back links." He claimed to own multiple web sites worth millions of dollars, and these sites would all link to my web page. He directed me to one of those web sites, which featured endless advertisements for realtors, lawyers, chiropractors and so on. Although he assured me that this technique was "white hat," I decided to pass. One important lesson that I learned from my experience with independent SEO contractors is that it's important to choose someone who has a track record and a reputation to protect on Yelp. So I went back to Yelp, and fortunately I found Rami, who has a wonderful track record and reputation. Rami is really an outstanding human being, very intelligent and honest. He genuinely cares about people and wants to help. He spent more than an hour with me, projecting my web site onto a screen while patiently explaining the basics of SEO and pointing out the mistakes that I was making. He communicated very well and convinced me that I am the only person who can practically improve the SEO on my site. The reason is that my site is very complicated (imagine trying to teach Japanese!), and I could never be satisfied if I let someone else change the wording on it. His charges were extremely reasonable. It has been six weeks since my interview with Rami. I can't say that I've done everything he recommended because SEO is hard work (especially in my field, where the competition is unbelievable), and I'm very busy. However, as I have time, I will continue to make changes. After six weeks, I feel comfortable in saying that my situation has stabilized and that I'm seeing more visitors than before. I also feel that I understand SEO much better than I did. I know what kinds of things I need to do to make my site better. If you have SEO or Wordpress problems and you decide to schedule an appointment at Inikosoft, I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

The people at Inikosoft are nice and they don't charge a lot for websites, but I wouldn't call them designers. The initial basic design for my website was what I had wanted, but the DESIGN aspect stopped there. They tried to just copy and paste all my wording into the site and call it done. There was no attempt to make my homepage attractive or interesting, or to help me organize my information so it would be easier to view. They made changes at MY suggestion, but that was it. Also, they said they'd do a logo for me and the samples they showed me were my name with a bunch of clip art. When I complained, they told me I should find another web designer.
