I was there today with my family and I was super disappointed with the manger. I saw an employee mistreated and bullied right in front of my eyes. Our sever was playing music for the costumers and the manager comes over to disconnect it and throws/slams his phone to the floor. That was incredibly disrespectful and out of line. Visited this place for the first time. Wow! The food was horrible. We ordered steak, well they called it steak. It was a thin piece of meat, salty as hell. Took one bite and left the rest. The steak came with a side of rice, the side of rice was the smallest portion of rice I have ever gotten. We also ordered two pupusas and I took a bite and it was under cooked, tasted all watery and gooey. Ewwww! Yuk! Blah! Get back to hotel and it it was wrapped in the foil but cut in half. Did not have all ingredients inside. Rice, beans, pico and sour cream were missing. I ordered a Salvadorean entre called Carne Guisada. Is the Salvadorean version of beef stew and vegetables. I was so disappointed I got nothing but fat greasle chunks, barely any meat! I paid $14 dollars! Not even the most street side restaurant would serve this to their customers in El Salvador. Food is sooo tasty. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I like places that seem homely and this place makes you feel comfortable and the food seems authentic and flavorful. The servers were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back. I also like how it is 24/7 and quality of food is still great. I just wish that they had certain menu items that could be ordered for example I wanted only one extra tortilla, but you have to buy two since that is the only way they sell them. I knew I would waste it so I just didn't order it and ate the rest of my food without the tortilla. Aside from that the place is great and would recommend anyone to try it out. read more

Went here a couple months ago for breakfast. The food was good but a little on the pricey side for what came with the dish (we had desayuno #2 - so eggs, beans, crema, avocado, plantains). The crema was sour cream, not the traditional thick cream you get in Central America, and that most other "authentic" restaurants use. The atmosphere and decor were nice but it was quiet for most of breakfast until someone from the separate bar area started blasting electronic music... I tweeted this company asking why they lied. I was blocked lol. We used to order from here all the time. The food started going downhill. The last time our food was cold, soggy, and took more than an hour to arrive. We spoke to a manager who was apologetic and promised to make it it right because that's what good companies do when they screw up. Well we called a few weeks later and all of a sudden no one had any idea what we were talking about. Apparently there is more than one manager. They told us we could pay for the replacement steak nachos and talk to the manager who was working that night. He apparently was making deliveries ( which I now think was a lie). I rarely give bad reviews. There are better places to spend your money. Places who appreciate their customers and don't lie. read more

This was a good meal. They have fried ice cream..... I had the fajitas and hubster had the chimichanga. Beef fajitas had a nice charbroiled flavor and I didn't have one bite of nasty fatty meat. The chimichanga was fried crispy hubster would have preferred a little more and a little more spice on the chicken but liked very much. We liked the cheese dip and the salsa. I Visited Two Amigos for taco Tuesday! I ordered the pork pupusas, fried plantains, beef tacos and chicken tamales. They give very large portions! The food was good and very authentic. The plantains were served with sour cream which was weird but otherwise no complaints. The staff was friendly but I definitely felt out of place when I walked in. It's noon and I walk in to a surprisingly empty restaurant. I'm immediately created by a young lady with a smile and sat promptly. Chips and salsa come immediately and are complimentary. I came in for the papusas so I admit I didn't look closely at the menu. I order the bean & cheese and the pork & cheese papusas. Food takes less than 10 minutes to come out. The curtido is excellent with just a touch of heat. The papusas excellent with just the right amount of filling. I had to finish with tres leche, absolutely delicious! Their lunch buffet has ceviche and paella amongst other varied staples. Well worth the 9.95..... If you're stuck at Dulles for a few hours, hop the Holiday Inn Chantilly van or grab a cab.
