    smoked pork belly

TLDR: Great BBQ and brews in a chill setting. Be prepared for a bit of a wait during lunch rush, but the food comes out quicker than expected. Awesome Friday lunch spot with a unique pour- your own beer tap system. Odd BBQ and Ono Brewing in Chantilly make for a killer combo. They share the same space, and the partnership works perfectly vs the typical brewery and rotating food trucks in my opinion. Our group of 7 rolled in for a Friday lunch and were surprised to see the place already packed by 11am. Ono uses a self-serve tap system where you pay by the ounce, which is a fun and flexible way to sample multiple beers without the commitment of a full pint. As for the BBQ, it was solid across the board. We were told upfront that it could take up to an hour to get our food due to the rush, but thankfully it only took about 20 minutes, under promise over deliver! I went with the smoked pork belly platter, which came with furikake rice and two sides, house-made kimchi and sesame slaw. Everything slapped taste wise, plus with generous portions for $20 I was beyond satisfied. By the end of the meal, it was clear why this place is a local favorite right when the doors open. Odd BBQ + Ono Brewing is the perfect TGIF lunch destination ie. casual, tasty, and just the right kind of buzz to start the weekend off right.

Tried this spot out after finding it on Instagram, and I'm glad I followed the hype! Located inside Ono Brewery, towards the back of the establishment. I took the following items to go and ate at home: Korean Hot Chicken Sandwich (an item listed at their ordering window), Smoked Pork Belly Sandwich, side of coleslaw, side of baked beans, and side of Kimchi. The two sandwiches were so so tasty! The Korean Hot Chicken Sandwich was flavorful & juicy with the right portion of slaw- not too heavy on the slaw that you can't taste the main part of the dish. The Smoked Pork Belly Sandwich is a sandwich I highly recommend. The pork belly pieces (2) were nice thick cuts and buttery soft. They didn't get tough or dry even though it was a take out order. I would suggest getting a sauce with it, maybe a vinegar sauce to add a bit of spice. The side dishes were also really tasty. If you order baked beans, make sure you don't share it because it is THAT good! The slaw is a red cabbage slaw and the Kimchi was nice, light and crunchy. If you like spice, it was not spicy, but still tasty! I can't wait to go back and dine at Ono Brewery because this place is worth the hype. The Brewery itself is an open space with seating for small and medium sized groups. If you go as a large group, there is seating outside and in a covered tent area. Highly recommend trying this spot out if you love BBQ and want to try something a bit untraditional!

While visiting Ono Brewery - had to have some vittles. I ordered a Pork BBQ sammich, with an asian cabbage ginger slaw and a side of Mac & Cheese. You are given a puck upon placing your order. It took about 15 minutes for my order to come up - they were very busy. I snagged a side of the spicy Korean BBQ sauce to go with everything. I added some black pepper packets to the Mac & Cheese. Everything was tasty and filling. Paid with Apple Pay.

This is my favorite BBQ place in the area. The biscuits and all the grilled meats and sides are delicious. I love the way they mix traditional bbq techniques with some Asian flavors (e.g., the spicy Korean pork belly and sesame call slaw). Today, I tried the beef on weck, and it wa also fantastic - what tasted like a tender and delicious prime rib with horseradish sauce and a delicious consumee for dipping.

Not my favorite BBQ spot, especially for the price and what you get. However, it is solid there wasn't anything bad about it. I was surprised there weren't a ton of the standard bbq options. I got the pulled pork platter with baked beans, Mac and Cheese, and a cheddar biscuit. I wouldn't recommend the cheddar biscuit, it was hard like a rock and flavor was weird. The inside had plenty of seats and is good for large groups. There's beer available and games to play. The staff were alright. They weren't super friendly or informative they're just there to do their work lol. I also went on a Monday or Friday so maybe that is why. Overall, I'd probably pick one of the many other bbq options in the area. Again, not a bad choice but not the best choice.

Just wanted to come back and say the food is still good! I look back at my old reviews sometimes and am disappointed in how food once was... But not Odd Bbq. Still love their biscuits, pork belly, and potato salad. Also love their BBQ sauce selections

My friends and I came and got a 2 lb platter, which was plenty for four people! We got the Spicy Pork Belly (my fav), the Smoked Boneless Chicken Thighs, the Pork Spare Ribs, and Pulled Pork. Our sides were the Mac n Cheese and the Baked Beans. Our platter also came with four biscuits which were delightful! I love how they have a variety of sauces (some Asian inspired) so each bite will taste different. Unfortunately when we went, they didn't have two sauces that we were interested in trying. We also weren't impressed by the Mac n Cheese, but everything else was great. I really liked the vibes of Odd BBQ - you can seat yourself at any table, they have beer/water on tap, and they have board games that you can borrow. I'd definitely come back and get more of the spicy pork belly!

Its a great fusion bbq spot! It's american bbq with a hawaiian and korean twist which makes it even better! Their pork belly is always so juicy and tender. But the star of the show is their ginger sesame slaw. Its perfectly crunchy, tangy, and fresh which pairs so well with the meat. I also got to try their cheddar biscuit and it is one of the BEST cheddar biscuits I've ever tried! I will definitely go back.

I've been wanting to try this bbq a lot and finally got the chance! It was as delicious as it looks. I tried the spicy pork belly and it was SO tender and deliciously seasoned. There's so many bbq sauces to try, but honestly it didn't even need it. I got the macaroni salad side, baked beans and Hawaiian rolls. Everything was so good, I'll definitely return. It's located inside Ono brewery - which has a lot of great beers on self pour taps. Fun spot and great for when the weather is nice.

Great environment, great food, and very friendly staff. The portions are plentiful and the spicy pork belly plate is highly recommended. Though next time I will likely go for the Spicy Pork Belly sandwich. Each plate meal comes with an option of Hawaiian rolls (2x) or seasoned rice and still have the selection of two sides. Decided to go with the rolls, and since the seasoned rice was a side item, selected that with the traditional Mac and cheese . All this food went perfectly with Ono's lager, HellYes. Environment is very inviting, they have outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered, dogs are allowed (on leash), and they have tvs indoor and also board games for kids to entertain. Looking forward to the next time I'm here. If you're in the area, highly recommend you stop by and enjoy with family, friends and or co-workers.

I don't like a lot of bbq places in Northern VA but I will ALWAYS come back to Odd BBQ. I normally only get the pork belly platter (phenomenal!!) But I finally ventured out and got the ribs and I was NOT disappointed. Both meats are so tender, juicy, and flavorful it's hard not to fall in love Besides the food, the vibes outside are so fun - they have outdoor tables with beach/tiki umbrellas that make you feel a lil like you're in Cancun P.S. The mac and cheese and biscuits are also great sides

BBQ anyone !? I was in the mood to have some bbq so I went on @yelp and look up some places and saw Odd Bbq was in the area . So I took a drive over was a good amount of ppl in the place . Looking at the menu it was a lot to choose from . I decided on a pulled pork sandwich and side of baked beans . Overall the sandwich was about 1/2. The baked beans were about 10/10. I definitely will Be ordering the beans again . I will be back to try what else they have on the menu .

Amazing BBQ. Kind of has a Hawaiian BBQ twist with unique sauces to pair with the food, so not your traditional BBQ. Either way, plenty of meats to choose from (pulled pork, pork belly, chicken thighs, sausage, ribs, etc.). Service was efficient, you just order at the window and then wait for your buzzer to go off. About a 10-15 minute wait. Very relaxed and cozy ambiance as you can grab a few beers while you wait or eat. The food itself is worth the price and has great portions. The sides were delicious, especially the seasoned rice. Mac n cheese was simple, so its pairs really well with the meat or sauce of your choice. Again, mix and match the sauces because they are awesome. Overall, I was extremely surprised how good this place was. Saw it on a reddit thread and was nearby so I tried it. Gonna be one of my favorite places to go back to whenever I'm in the area.

At that time, only parking was at Emerick Elementary School, but there's also closer parking at the community center lot. I actually opted to park in a residential neighborhood, as the street was closer to the event. Well, good thing is dogs are allowed. And I remember it was a "rain or shine" event, which was good, seeing as how it certainly was drizzling at the time -- and likely had rained well before then. A lot of food trucks at the event, in the Fireman's Field area. I beheld a Fords Fish Shack truck, one for a pizza I'd never heard of, and some kind of southern or soul food. No idea of anything, and kinda glad I saw the food truck for the "What the Heck BBQ" at last. This was my first time ordering something here, so at the food truck I just asked for popular choices, and went to knock 'em both out. Brisket and Pulled Pork topped the list, so I got a 2-meats plate with them both, and with flavored Mac and Cheese and Texas Baked BBQ Beans on the side. Packed three small cups of BBQ sauce, one regular and the others of the spicy variant. Ate out at one of the lone picnic tables near the entrance to the park. It was a nice afternoon and the rain had stopped. The brisket was good and so was the pulled pork. I liked the sides more than the main dish, for some reason. Mac and cheese was heavenly but prob had a lot of calories packed in. BBQ beans were spot on, and complimented the meat with their own BBQ sauces. All in all, a close home run and well done for what was essentially a to-go order -- yeah, planning was not outstanding. All in all, great food truck selling barbecue meat and foods. Great Mac 'n cheese by the way. Who knows, hopefully one day I'll swing by the store in Chantilly at least once.

The inside of the restaurant is nicer than expected, with a cavernous and industrial feel. Our waitress was the only one working the whole restaurant. She nonetheless provided prompt and efficient service, including meat cooking, during our meal. We opted for AYCE option for $38. We sampled the spicy pork belly, spicy and regular pork bulgogi, and the thinly sliced pork belly. All the pork cuts had a tender texture and we found the marinades savory and not too sweet, in comparison to other restaurants. The sole beef option I tried was the top blade steak. While tender, the meat was watery and subsequently lacked flavor. We found the banchan and side dishes here weak. Most of the banchan had too much sugar for our palette. Banchan were limited to basic selections such as kimchi, potato salad, and picked radish; some higher end choices such as fish cake would have been welcome. The corn cheese, while gooey, lacked seasoning. The fried rice cakes had a pleasantly crisp and bouncy texture when served fresh, though gummed up after a couple of minutes. The steamed eggs actually had great flavor, but are cooked on the grill such that the bottoms burn. Overall, this felt like a relatively standard KBBQ experience for the area. While the pork options tasted of a decent quality, the remainder of the meal fell a bit flat. While not bad by any means, we experienced no compelling reason to return to the Qui over either a new restaurant or repeat visit to a standby.
