I cannot express how much I love and recommend Saint Germain Catering. I was in a bind because my caterer fell through at the last minute. Saint Germain came through like a superhero! Their menu is expansive and can accommodate all types of dietary restrictions--we had dairy free, vegan, pollotarian, and gluten free folks, and they all enjoyed the food. Set up and tear down were efficient, and the staff was so friendly, polite, and professional! And the food! I over ordered, so the whole library staff got to eat, too. Everyone raved about the buffets (we did a "cookout" style, a "fajita bar" style, and we had breakfast for three days). Everything was cooked well and seasoned well! The fresh fruit was delicious! I worked mainly with Brenda from the sales office and she was so responsive. And so kind event after a dozen changes! We had two servers for our catering, Noelia and Edwardo (?) - so professional! They set up quickly, working around us when we hadn't cleared some spaces yet. And so neat - cleaned up so the only evidence they were even there was the leftovers! No notes - Saint Germain was absolutely a DREAM to work with for our backyard wedding. They have transparent pricing, are super responsive, and my wedding coordinator said the event staff was a HUGE help on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately in typical bride fashion, I was unable to sample any of the food on my wedding day, but I did have some of the leftover short ribs from our buffet the next day, and it was delicious! For my personal events, I used them to cater a friend's baby shower, then used them for my own bridal shower, and finally used them to cater our rehearsal dinner. How did I not know they were right in my backyard?! Had them cater a work lunch for 25. They tweaked some of the items to fit our needs (ex: light sauce in the pasta, but extra on the side). We got Saint Germain to cater our wedding. My husband & I were beyond satisfied. Here's why: 1. In a world where other businesses upsell & price-gouge couples for weddings, Saint Germain was transparent all the way through. When we asked for quote, they gave us a very clear list of packages they offered (i.e. how many kinds of appetizers & entrees & the price per person, not some fluffy non-descriptive name) and an interesting menu to choose from. They also were honest about the costs of labor, upgraded chafing dishes, utensil rentals from the very start, all of which were reasonable for a 50-person, buffet-style wedding. 2. Stefany & Carrie in their front office were also on top of communication. They accommodated various guest allergies & dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegan/vegetarian, nut allergies). After our tasting, we were also able to request a switch from chicken breast to boneless chicken thigh. They were also flexible with various changing headcounts & plans. 3. We got a lot of compliments on the food, especially from our vegetarian guests. The mushroom strudel and the crispy cauliflower with zhug were a big hit. Perhaps the biggest compliment was that we had the least amount of leftovers we've seen at a wedding so far, because guests went back for multiple helpings and took some home. 4. The setup & service was also very detail-oriented. They set up the buffet such that the meat dishes were earlier in the line & the vegetarian/vegan dishes were later, so that people with no restrictions would fill up their plates first, leaving the people with restrictions with more than their fair share of food. The two servers were also mindful of our mixed indoor/outdoor setup & tended to guests in both spaces. They also helped me avert a cake accident when some of slices started to tip over, even though we didn't get cake cutting service. read more

We used Saint Germain Catering this past weekend for my son's first communion. We had 20 people for our event and didn't feel comfortable going to a restaurant during this time, so we decided to cater at home. I also did not feel like cooking and boy am I glad with the outcome! The food was delivered on-time and they even set up everything for me on my kitchen island, all I had to do was invite my guests to eat! And the food was AMAZING! The Crab Legs were perfectly cooked, the lobster sliders melted in our mouths and were divine! The event was an outdoor engagement party and Carrie's (Saint Germaine) assigned 4-person team of a Captain, Bartender, and 2 staff all did everything and my wife, daughter, and fiancee were free with no responsibility except to mingle, and enjoy the scrumptious food and great service.! The 4-person team arrived promptly 2 hours before party start and set-up all the tables and serving ware. In addition, 2 weeks before party start the Saint Germaine "Captain" came out to our house and we jointly decided on how everything should be set-up.
