I recently hosted a post-wedding brunch at my sister's house with The Omelette Chefs. I had to plan the brunch from the other side of the country and found Omelette Chefs online. Not having any experience throwing events in Northern VA, I was a bit nervous to try something randomly found on Google for 75 people. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. They arrived on time, setup a beautiful spread of omelettes, crepes and belgian waffles. Being from out of town, I even had them do the side dishes. We used the Omelette Chefs for our engagement party brunch. We had a party of about 50 ppl and had made to order omelettes and a waffle bar. The food was set up professionally and the chef was able to make up to 3 or 4 omelettes at one time on multiple burners. She did require much from us except an empty space to set up. She came in a little flustered and rushed to get set up in time for our scheduled serving time. Luckily we paid for an extra hour and everyone was able to be served at a pace leisurely. This was such an easy, impressive catering solution for a Sunday brunch for about 3 dozen foundation supporters. Laurel was super informative and efficient in explaining the services provided and taking the order. Our chefs were well-organized, pleasant and cooperative. The Chefs come back to our Condo, twice each year, and we have never been disappointed. Ninety to one hundred people are efficiently served with the fajitas in spring or the omelets in the fall. The setup and the clean-up are always done quickly and completely, leaving the room exactly as they found it. The selection of the food is varied and always top-notch. We were able to work with them all throughout the pandemic because of the efficient system the chiefs use to serve. These guys need more Yelp face time!! They are amazing!! I personally worked with this catering company for my own wedding and it was a great experience working with them from the beginning to the end. When I first sought out catering companies I was hoping to find something relatively cheap yet amazing quality (not a common combination) and I was pressed to find something until these guys emailed me back within 18 hours of my email. I then received a call from the chef himself and we worked out the numbers and details of the wedding over the phone. He reserved the date for me and worked out the paperwork and emailed it to me. He said there was not rush to get the final guest count until 48 hours before the wedding day. Everything was smooth before the wedding day. I even had to make some last minute changes and they were able to accommodate for everything perfectly. The day of the wedding was when they really showed their skill, professionalism, and quality. I just wanted a simple Belgium waffle bar which comes with: Waffles Bacon Sausage Fruits Syrup Whipped Cream Coffee, Cranberry and Orange Juice All utensils are provided It was like 10-11 bucks per person. It was the best deal I could find and it was WORTH IT! Their waffles are cooked on site and they are AMAZING! The wedding guests loved it. The bacon and sausage were something out of a fairy tale for people who love sausage and bacon. Everyone was loving the food and the amount of food was more than enough to feed my 200 guests and even have some left over. There was a minor issue with the power (my fault) in the beginning, so it set the team back about 30-40 minutes, but they didn't charge me for that time and made sure everyone was fed and left food behind before coming back for it later. I have never worked with such an amazing, tight knit team before and the quality of the food far surpassed anything I could imagine. The customer service is 5 stars all around, beginning, middle, and end. The taste of the food 5 stars all around The overall experience: 5 stars. These guys are worth looking into if you want/need catering service. They will drive a good distance as well. My wedding was about 70-80 miles from their "headquarters" in MD. You pay for that as well, but it wasn't expensive in the slightest. Please check this place out if you get the chance or find yourself in need of amazing food.
