We used Saint Germain Catering for our office Holiday Luncheon that consisted of ~110 people. The food and service were fantastic. They arrived promptly ahead of schedule and set up the buffet. I communicated mostly with Morgan when it came to organizing our event. She was very prompt with responses in helping to coordinate our event and very professional. We had an amazing experience from start to finish with St. Germain. Jazmin was very friendly during the entire process and patient when we made changes to the order. The food was phenomenal and we got compliments across the board. The risotto was a standout and got compliments from our Italian friends who go back to italy every year. I was pretty pleased about that! Service was really above and beyond. They came and set up 2 hours early but we also had prepared some finger foods separately and they incorporated everything seamlessly as if it was all one whole presentation. Really impressive. They served the chips, took coats, took my overcooked xmas tree app out of the oven when i didn't hear the timer go off, etc. It made the party run smoothly and allowed us to mingle with everyone. Really an amazing team. Presentation was awesome with the upgraded presentation option. Everything was in metal serving ware and kept warm over a flame. The food was still hot even when they packed it all away for us. We were both pleased with the way it turned out and they even brought a vintage suitcase to set the cheese plate on. A nice little detail. We would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality food and amazing service. read more

I used them for my 50th birthday celebration for 50 people. It was sooooeasy to use them. Anne was fantastic about advising me on what would work since I had no experience throwing a party like this. The food was incredible! Bacon wrapped scallops, crab cakes, sushi, beef sandwiches, and more were so delicious. The service staff was amazing. How I wish I could give Saint Germain Catering 10 Stars! We had a catered lunch reception at our home following the burial of my brother at Arlington National Cemetery. I had no idea what I wanted but Carrie Westbrook and Mina Ebrahimi were extremely helpful developing a wonderful menu including beef tenderloin, crab cakes, sides, passed hot appetizers, desserts, and drinks. Guests came from all over the country to honor my brother and everyone commented on how delicious everything was, what beautiful buffets they created and especially how seamless the service was, led by Hugo. They set everything up while we were at the cemetery. When we entered our home, we were amazed at the complete transformation in our home. They created several serving areas, complete with flowers, which allowed guests to easily circulate. They quietly picked up used items. They were so pleasant, courteous, and extremely efficient. The bartender was wonderful. After the event wound down, they quietly packed everything up, asking how to wrap up leftovers. I showed them where I had dishes and without a word they took over. It was hard to know they had even been there. So many guests commented on what a beautiful event this was honoring my brother and how much he would have loved it. Thank you, Saint Germain Catering. This review is probably getting too long..... but I also want to mention we also ordered our entire 2023 Thanksgiving meal from Saint Germain's. They set everything up for our buffet the day before including chafing dishes for hot items, all laid out on white tablecloths. It was wonderful. We simply heated up the meal and enjoyed the best Thanksgiving dinner we ever had, including over 45 I made myself! Everyone raved about the turkey, the ham, all the side dishes. And we then had delicious leftovers for days to come. We plan on always ordering Thanksgiving from Saint Germain Catering. We are delighted with Saint Germain Catering! We ordered a few different plates for a graduation get together and boy did they come through. The cheese plate, meat plate and dessert plate were safely and deliciously prepared. The hard-to-please 11-year-old gave the food a 9.5 out of 10 (ice cream would have earned a perfect score. So now we know.) The equally hard to please Mom liked the dressings so much she put a little of all of them on her salad. In addition, to being delicious the food was voluminous. We'll be eating leftovers for the next few days at least. Last, and perhaps most importantly, SGC delivered the food when they said they would. Perfect timing. I gave them four stars because they could do better with pictures on their website and because of lack of communication on an issue. I ended up ordering way too many kid's burgers because I thought they would be small sized and they were quite large. Pictures would have helped. Also, on the day off, they said they needed to come back up 2 days later to pick up supplies! I ordered the food for delivery and there was no indication anywhere that anything we were getting needed to be picked up. We ordered the seafood special, crab legs, mini crab cakes, shrimp, and the bay seasoned chips. My husband who is a crab cake "expert" said it was one of the best crab cakes he has ever had. That it is mostly filled with real crab meat without too much fillers. The shrimp was a perfect size, clean, great presentation and OUTTA this world. The crab legs were all mine :-D Nice and meaty, and the buttery sauce they came in added enough flavor that I didn't need more butter. I hired St. Germain Catering for a buffet style Thanksgiving dinner in our home. The menu offerings were wonderful and they allowed me to swap in/out various dishes. Edgar delivered everything on time and was very polite and professional. He went through the entire delivery with me to ensure all items were there and to my satisfaction. We actually were missing a side dish, but Edgar was able to make a call and get us the dish right away. Our buffet style meal included disposable hot pans and sternos to keep everything hot. The packaging was very sturdy - no leaks or spills. The food was incredible - everyone raved about it and went back for multiple helpings! The portions were generous and the cherry pie was awesome! Definitely home made from the filling to the pie crust. The turkey was flavorful and moist (even after re-heating!) and I couldn't get enough of the green bean casserole! The filet steak was cooked perfectly and my son announced "this is the first Thanksgiving I'm actually full because the food was so good." The ordering process was very easy (done via emails) and payment was made via credit card using a credit card form they sent. We are using Saint Germain again for our Christmas meal. Just had my daughter's graduation party catered by Saint Germain. Unbelievable service and quality, and their menu is VAST! I think Mina and her team will do anything for you! The food was delicious and so fresh! We had a Mediterranean platter, cheese and fruit display, sandwiches of all kinds, salad with mandarins and Asian style dressing, and dessert cups. The Parmesan potato chips (home made) are not to be missed. Everything was so delicious. We picked up our order because we live nearby. Dealing with St. Germain Catering (SGC) was a disaster. I cannot comment on the quality of the food because the staff was so disorganized I never sampled it. A staff member took my tentative booking for an event; and then she disappeared. Every step of the way, I had to follow up--a menu promised by a certain date was not sent until prompted; my immediate email comments on the menu and a request for a consultation were ignored for days. Only after repeatedly calling and emailing the office, did the owner intervene to write--not call--that staffing shortages prevented SGC from honoring its promise to cater the event I described. More than a week after SGC had assured me it was available for the event and even after sending a detailed proposal for review, did SGC suddenly discover it was never available. If in fact SGC was over-committed, one would think it would have taken the initiative to rectify the error, but it did not. If I had not followed up, I would still be waiting for a response. What does all this say about customer service? The operation of the business wasted our time when we could have readily retained an alternative caterer. Despite SGC's rave reviews, beware. Response to Owner's Comment: It is unfortunate that SGC does not understand that "doing business" entails how one treats a customer from the first contact forward. I sincerely wish the firm the best and that it finds a way to manage its admitted staffing and communications problems in the near future. Fortunately, I was quickly able to retain a responsive, top notch caterer in DC. After being stung by the experience with SGC, the contrast in customer service was notable, even heartening. read more

Saint Germain is our go-to caterer for our office! They are incredibly accommodating to our needs (limited counter space) and makes the food extremely tasty and presentable. They are also always on time! We will continue to use their business as time allows. Unfortunately, they do have times where they cannot fulfill the order because they are 'sold out' near the holiday season.
