From the outside, Party Mania doesn't look like much, but they have every item you could possibly need for a party. The store is tightly packed, but the sales people know the inventory and right where to find anything you need. Their balloon selection is the best I have seen, and the prices are reasonable. The staff will help you coordinate an arrangement and provide recommendations, too. read more

We had used Ed for our huge preschool graduation ceremony for the last few years, and considered ourselves a good customer. We ordered an arch from him again for June of this year. The balloon arch was delivered and before we knew it, the person who delivered it left. Approximately 5 minutes later the arch is down on the ground, broken, and we can see the inside of the arch is completely off the track. We called and called and when we finally got someone on the phone who literally couldnt care less, I asked to speak to Ed. (For background, this is a huge event for our school) I could hear Ed yelling in the background that he was not going to talk to me because he already talked to someone else from my business. I needed to talk to him because I needed to figure out how I could get the balloons back up before the ceremony started. We came back and tried to fix it ourselves by taping the balloons up ourselves. Balloons are popping at this point. Ed finally comes and does the same thing, trying to make this lousy excuse for a decoration stay up. As he's leaving, we said "we are definitely going to get a refund, right?" And he waved his hand and said, "I'll give you a credit or something next year." The complete disregard was unbelievable. Throughout the graduation, the balloons popped and the stick underneath was visible. Photos attached. We will never do business with them again after seeing how this business responds when their product goes bad. We thought we would hear from them after this happened, but nothing. Not even an email of apology for this. As of now, we have still paid full price for this. read more

Absolutely Perfect -- Highly Recommend! Ed and his team did an absolutely stellar job with the balloons for our birthday celebration. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. I shared a very specific vision (including a rendering), and they brought it to life exactly as I had hoped -- truly spot-on. The colors, proportions, and overall balance were perfect, and the final result matched the concept beautifully. The balloon display elevated the entire event, and we received so many compliments throughout the evening. You can really tell how much care, creativity, and attention to detail goes into their work. I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out and would absolutely use them again for a future event. Highly recommend! read more

Buyer beware! They charge an outrageous amount for filling air in balloons. When we decided not to have the balloons filled they charged us an 8% "restocking fee " for literally nothing. That is dishonest! When I told them it was illogical because we got nothing they pivoted to another lie saying it was a credit card fee when in fact there was no purchase. Not an honest business. read more

Ed and Wei are the best. Ed is a balloon artist and Wei is an extremely detail-oriented party planner. The store has everything so come prepared to browse. Ed's designed my balloons for a decade. Never mind an arch, he's made balloon sculptures- basketballs, PacMan and Ghosts, suspended cloud formations, candles, pencils, crayon box and crayons, french fries, popcorn in box. Amazing balloon artist. As a team they deliver a high-end, well designed product. Always on time and they honor a budget . If you are lucky enough to work with Ed and Wei be a good client. This team is hard to replicate. read more

We've been clients of Party Mania for years for intricate and custom balloon decor. Each design is better than the next. Wei is very collaborative and gives drawings, suggestions and Ed and his team engineer the balloon sculptures. They do it all-- balloon vines, characters, sculptural design. Even if you just want a few jumbos they can arrange in such a way that it looks like much more. Fabulous to work with! read more

No return policy - literally had an unopened extra item we had purchased and they flat out refused to take it back. Rude and no customer service for a place that is not cheap. Just money hungry and it's obvious - Party City cannot open back up fast enough. Never going back. read more

Do not bother with this store. The staff is rude, there is no manager to speak of, and the staff in the store would not give me any contact information for anyone that could make a decision. I tried to make a return of an unopened item. No indication in the store or on the receipt that it couldn't be returned, but the person at the register flat out refused. Then she tended to 3 customers while claiming to contact the manager who was supposedly on vacation. I asked who owned the store and she refused to give me any contact information. Just horrible customer service. I'll just be shopping online from now on. Cheaper and easier. read more

I wanted to take the time to write about the service at Party Mania. The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner has been using them as the main point of contact for all of our paid birthday and anniversary room decorations. Everyone that work there is professional and accommodating. Their dedication, creativity, and flexibility are truly unmatched. With the constant changes in guest preferences, special requests, and timing adjustments, they always manage to accommodate us with a positive attitude and incredible efficiency. Rena is consistently wonderful to work with--she always ensures our orders are placed smoothly and handles every detail with great care. Wei goes above and beyond every single time, creating beautiful balloon arrangements and going the extra mile to make each setup unique and special and ensuring we receive the best service possible. The guests are always delighted and thrilled with the celebrations, and their joy is a direct reflection of the hard work and passion this team puts into what they do. We truly couldn't do it without them, and we are so thankful for this continued partnership. Their efforts help us create unforgettable moments for our guests, and we're lucky to have them by our side. read more

I ordered balloons from Party Mania for Langley's All Night Grad Party. They turned out great - and were an amazing deal. We got 2 arches, balloon table settings. Everything looked great and all of the balloons lasted the whole night and we could even use them 2 days later at an elementary school party with minimal wear. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Hadn't been here before but called ahead and they were able to fill two Mylar balloons purchased elsewhere. I got there early and was told it'd be a 5-10 minute wait, which was perfectly fine. The price, $12+, seemed steep but didn't have an alternative. I paid in cash and while I waited I realized I didn't get my change of 28 cents, which I found odd. Ultimately I asked for my change and they didn't have any pennies. More than anything I just found that whole exchange strange. I got my balloons the guy that gave them to me, same person who did get my change, was very polite. The store itself had a bit of everything--it was a a busy space, not in terms of people but in volume of what they had. It was mostly well maintained but there were definitely several things out that looked open or damaged. In a general sense you'll get what you need. read more

Conveniently located for us, and although small, it had more than enough party supplies. The lady ringing us up was very friendly and efficient, and gave us additional great suggestions for items for our event. We'll be back! read more

DO NOT GET BALLOONS filled here. We gave them 3 dozens balloons to be filled. Picked them up in bags. Opened the bags at the party hall and 7 or them never floated from the start. Rest were on the floor in hours. Very disappointed as we did not have enough balloons to complete our decoration that we had planned. Owner the next day said its because it was not their store balloons. Not true as I had purchased same balloons from Amazon for another graduation party and had filled at party city and they stayed beautiful till the 3rd day. read more

Party Mania - Front of store - Party Supplies Near Me - Vienna, Virginia

This place is awesome! Fast and efficient with super friendly service! I walked out with 8 helium balloons saying congratulations in about 10 minutes! Glad I found it on yelp without having to trudge around town trying to find a party city! They seemed to have a decent collection of other party supplies too - maybe not as big as party city tho .. One downside, I did not see a lot of Halloween stuff around, and you would think this would be the perfect time! Anyways, I would happily come here again - the girl runnin this place was super sweet and very efficient read more

No party here. It is the least a the least fun place I've ever been to in my life . Pretty sure this is a front. They said the 14 day return policy began 14 days after purchase not before the time was up. read more

This place is a JOKE and I don't mean to be rude. I am highly amazed at how this place is still open in the Tysons Corner Area. It is extremely limited , small , and most importantly DATED !. "PARTY MANIA" will have you feeling like you walked into a storage room of a early 1990s party supply overstock. It is dark no music playing -the cashier looks dead lol . Everything is just old :( This place could really be great ( seeing as though there are no other party stores in this are ) if they would put some effort into updating this place. Again I'm surprised its still open for business and I am damn sure APPAULED BY THE PRICES ! They got the nerve to upcharge on the items here that's been sitting collecting dust . The only thing they have going for them is the convenience to the area but I wont be stepping foot back in here . read more

I came here looking for Halloween decorations and masks for our masquerade party. I was hoping it would be similar to party city/party depot but it is much smaller and their Halloween section was very small. We couldn't even find a Halloween sign for our door... A great experience!! One of the representatives that I asked to point me in the direction of what I need it not only escorted me there but also noticed I was having difficulties with the bags I was carrying so she offered to have me leave the bag at the counter until I got what I need. Party Mania has wonderful customer service! I needed items for a shower I was hosting and Francis in the store helped direct me so that I was in and out quickly with what I needed. He also connected me with Ed, one of the owners of the store so that I could order a balloon garland needed in 3 days. Ed and I connect through e-mail and phone and he was able to create my vision for a reasonable price. He delivered it himself on the day of the shower and was a joy to work with. read more

Thew a 40th birthday party for my sister from afar (I live in LA). Ed took care of me and took the time to email images back and forth so I knew exactly what my choices were and what I was getting. Balloon arch was expensive but completely worth it when I walked in and saw it. If you want impact and production value the big arrangements are the way to go! Would absolutely recommend 5/5 read more

Surprised they are still in business cause their customer service is horrible! I walked in and there was only one employee working which is fine...she was on the phone for over 10 minutes taking a phone order while she had 3 customers in the store. I was customer number 3. I thought coming in for 8 balloons would take me 5 minutes but it took me 30! Not to mention their balloons are SOOOO overpriced. I got 8 latex balloons and two weights total was $13.XX I hope they reconsider their prices to match the market. read more

While I don't shop here for everyday party supplies, I've used this store multiple times for balloon orders. They are the only place that delivers (to my knowledge). It costs about $30 but totally worth it in my opinion. Ever tried to cram 75 latex balloons in your car? Each time I've used them they have been pleasant on the phone. They give me 2 hour window for my delivery, show up on time, and get my order right. They even add a few extra in case some pop. Thank you party mania! read more

Excellent store with even better customer service! Not sure as to why some of the reviews says this place was "dreary" or "limited" in party supplies. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. I stopped by here out of convenience one early afternoon mid-week after learning once I got to the shopping center that Sports Authority was closed (when did this happen?!). I've visited this place before a few years ago for some balloons and plates but the customer service was slightly below average so I was a bit hesitant going back. It wasn't bad, just...blah. I have a couple small get-togethers lined up in the coming weeks for football and Labor Day and figured I would take a peek and see what they had. As soon as I walked in, I felt very welcomed. A nice young man greeted me right away and asked if I needed any help finding anything. I know it may seem like a common practice in retail stores, but it is surprisingly more and more rare to be greeted at an establishment that way. I almost always have a hard time finding store employees whenever I have a question. Not at this place, though. There was only one employee working at the time and even though there were a couple other shoppers, he was able to tend to everyone efficiently in a friendly manner. I even overheard one woman as she was walking out thank him repeatedly for something he did that he didn't have to do? Not sure what he did, but the woman seemed very thankful. Just hearing that made me even more confident in shopping there. Looked around for a bit and realized I had no idea what I was looking for! There are a million and a half things to see in there! I was embarrassed to ask for help as he looked very busy working the register and inflating helium balloons. Luckily, the look on my face gave me away and he asked again if I needed any suggestions in picking anything out. He was very helpful and I know it's his job to up-sell, but I didn't feel pressured to keep adding items in my basket. I was impressed with the amount of knowledge he had with the products given the amount of different items they have. I suspect the store is under new management or ownership because I don't remember having this level of customer service during my last visit. Anyway, I walked out spending a bit more than I had expected (I forget sometimes how expensive hosting parties can be!) but the store has just earned another regular customer! I'm sure I will be back sooner than later since the holidays are fast approaching! Bottom line: excellent, welcoming customer service, tons of products to choose from. read more

This place is great to shop for party supplies. They have everything you need for a great party. If it's the first time you walk in to the store you might feel a little overwhelm for all the stuff they have in store. Just go ahead and ask anyone who works there like I did if you need help. The girl who was there helped me right away and I was able to get all I needed for my sister's surprise bday party yay! read more

For a party store, this location was pretty sad and dreary. It was dimly lit and had a limited selection. While the location is in a strip mall close to the Tysons Corner Mall, which is why we stopped because I needed to pick up a few decorations to hang up in a friend's house following her wedding, there wasn't much to pick from and they pretty much had the bare minimum. While I was able to grab a few things, it certainly wasn't what I was originally looking for and I would have liked to have bought more things, but they just didn't have a lot of variety or a large number of items to pick from. Having been to Party Mania, I certainly wouldn't go back compared to the much wider selection and brighter shopping experience at a store like Party City where there are aisles upon aisles of items to pick from, whereas this store was very narrow and I honestly don't think it had more than 3 aisles. read more

I experienced a nasty attitude from the salesperson helping me today! It was evident that he didn't want to be at work. When I began asking A question about the balloons he seemed to be getting frustrated. I was trying to decide which ones I wanted to purchase without his help, that's when he began to get a nasty attitude. FOR NO REASON! As he began blowing them up, I was looking at an item next to time and wasn't aware that he had finished with my order. A customer walked up and he began up ring her up. I was appalled because I was standing right there and instead of asking me if I want ready, he decided to ring up the other customer. I pretty much said to him that I was in line first and he goes "fine, I'll ring you up." He was such a little ass. That's what you get for hiring kids! I will never return to that store as I'm a regular customer. The annoying apart of it all, there wasn't a manager in the store who happens to be the owner. read more
