My caterer fell through, and I was desperate! I needed lunch for the next day, and it was less than 24 hours before the event! I called Fresh Connections, and they were amazing! Ordering was seamless! The person I spoke with was so helpful and friendly. We had to pay a rush fee, but it was reasonable. They were able to accommodate all of our dietary needs--vegan, gluten free, dairy free, pollotarian. When the food arrived the next day, it was hot and delicious! My organization was hosting a large meeting that included people who work in the food industry, so the meal had to be fresh, tasty and meet everyone's dietary requirements. Karina was extremely patient as we crafted a mostly vegan menu, with cheeses, bread and dressings on the side and avoiding all allergy triggers. She provided the ingredients so we could let attendees know what was in every dish. Everything from the fresh salads to the big variety of rich soups to the gone-as-soon-as-we-set-them-out fruit pies were a huge hit. Having catering done by Fresh Connections was a fantastic experience. I recently brought them to cater a corporate All-Hands meeting. Everything about the experience was top-notch. The communication was prompt - Breona gave me a call after my initial request within minutes. They did a good job of presenting my food options as well as catering equipment to make the logistics easier (such as burners for the food and disposable trays). The delivery was very professional. They offer to have the delivery set up for you. There was also an option to take the food up and do setup yourself (which can be helpful for mixed-company buildings that have security). The food was out of this world. We did kabobs, salad, rice, and hummus. They provided vegetarian options, and we stuck within our budget. Many people at the event asked about where the food came from. Everyone agreed that this was one of the best lunches we've had in the office. Can I do a negative #? No? Well lets just say this place is not only a scam, but definitely NOT a business that takes ownership of their mistakes....blatant ones at that. So, I decided to do something different for 'movie night' and instead of ordering out, decided to try out a local catering company that does home delivery. I decided to go with the beef tenderloin WITH (emphasis on 'WITH" as that is what the website AND my invoice stated) Chimichuri sauce AND roasted fingerling potatoes. Plus a side salad and dessert. So, the meal arrives with NO potatoes...okay, no problem, can just call or email right? Oh NO....WHAT the FLUFF? An added on $30.00 (!!!) DELIVERY charge (which is NOT stated on the website at all NOR added on when you check out). Okay....no problem, companies and restaurants usually take EXTREME OWNERSHIP of missed items.....SO I wrote in AND called (seriously had to leave a message because NO ones was THERE?). The NEXT day (???) I get a call from a nice woman Brianna (oh she was pleasant) who tried to DENY that potatoes come with the order. Um WHAT? yeah the pics below pretty specifically state 'WITH'. SO I sent her pictures of the below.....Then she called back and comes up with MORE excuses ("Oh our ordering system is off." "Oh our service is experiencing." "Oh potatoes are a side items that you have to pay extra for.") Sorry FRESH CONNECTIONS, this is NOT how to own up to YOUR mistakes. She then asked me what would make me happy (okay nice start). I think stated that refunding the $30.00 delivery fee (!!!) on a $155 ORDER might be a good start. Nope....all she was willing to do was rebate a paltry $15.00......seriously? 10%? So, for all your catering needs, SKIP Fresh Connections....(I am not even mentioning the wrong salad dressing being delivered)....lesson for you companies, you don't want to take Extreme Ownership of YOUR mistakes, your customers will do it for you...:) read more

We use Fresh Connections every chance we get for our department lunches, etc. During this department lunch we were also celebrating a 20th anniversary with the company so in addition to the delicious sandwiches and house made chips we also ordered a cake. The food was (as always) very well received. And the cake!  AMAZING!  I am a hobby baker and a bit of a cake snob ... Williams and Mina were amazing at communicating with us from the planning stage throughout the event. Our captain, Max, was able to pivot when details were changed. We contacted Fresh Connections for a rather expeditious but small wedding dinner, with an additional breakfast delivery morning of. Our contact, Gina, was fantastic in wrangling the two of us together to get the right look and presentation as well as working with the site owner for set up, lighting, and arrangements. Neither of us have handled this kind of task before and Gina was friendly, enthusiastic, and covered questions/issues we would not have thought of but were important in creating the best atmosphere for the day's event. Very professional and detail oriented. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Fresh Connections - in two words "Top Notch" As everyone knows planning an event can be a very demanding and stressful task, let alone planning ones daughter's wedding. There are many factors that go into planning a successful and enjoyable wedding and one of the most important is the food selection. It is true what they say, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your dream caterer. My task was doubly made difficult by the fact that the food had to be Halal which severely limited the variety of foods available for the event. Luckily, an internet search led me across Fresh Connections. My daughter had her heart set on a plated dinner service, she did not want to offer a buffet service with all the commonly known Halal foods in offering. This meant finding a caterer that had the experience, a wide selection of entrees and at the same time offered Halal. From the on start, I was very impressed by Fresh Connections, They had an extensive menu selection and were very reasonable. My journey with them began through a very friendly sales rep Tugba, While their website did not indicate Halal options, she assured me that they would be more than happy to provide Halal entrees. After many discussions, we settled on a Cesar Salad, four entrees as the main courses (The Surf and Turf, The Mediterranean Grilled Chicken, Potato Crusted Mahi Mahi and Pasta Primavera) along with sides of steamed rice and seasonal roasted vegetables, and for desserts we chose a selection of fruit tarts, Italian Delights (was not too crazy about those) and Belgian Chocolate Cups (Everyone raved about these). As my daughter was busy with her college courses and was unable to come to the food tasting, it became my task to select and approve of the foods. At the food tasting, my uncle and I were very impressed by the quality of the food and the staff. Throughout the whole process the staff at Fresh Connections has been outstanding, friendly and very helpful. They worked to accommodate every request we made and some that we did not expect. We had a guest that was Vegan and when asked that they be served the steamed rice and vegetables only, the FC staff suggested a Vegan entree for her, unfortunately, she could not make it to the wedding at the last minute, but that was a nice touch by Fresh Connections. All the wedding guests had nothing but praise for the food and the desserts. Again, thank you Fresh Connections, for helping in making my daughter's wedding a huge success. Superrrr happy with our order from Fresh Connections! We hosted a happy hour event on 5/17 - but unfortunately we were flying in to DC from Nashville to host the event so we had no clue who to use for catering. The admin at the company we were coming to visit suggested this place and let me tell you.. it was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Food was fresh, innovative and delicious. All the food arrived at the right temperature and had an amazing presentation. We even got compliments from our guest! We had plenty of food to serve our party of 15. I was really surprised at how great everything was because of the price being so good. Also, the staff here are so so nice and polite. I literally called Sera like 5 times asking questions, making order changes and time changes. Each time she was just as helpful and just as nice- never once got irritated. Finally, Sera and the delivery guy went above and beyond for us - we realized about 30 mins before our food was supposed to arrive we had NO ice for the event and forgot to ask them to bring any. I called Sera in a panic and unfortunately the deliver driver had already left to deliver our order. Sera didn't stop there - she actually called her driver and had him stop by the store and pick us up two bags of ice!! Absolutely wonderful.
