Quick good service and consistent quality and the hallmarks of the GAR brand. We ordered the shrimp and crab fritters, but dug into them before the thought of a picture crossed my mind. I had the chicken and havarti sandwich as a main. The chicken is seasoned well & it came out hot. My husband had the burger and that was equally delicious. The GAR group is a no-brainer if you want a great meal and equally great service.

I'll start with the positives... the customer service here was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and courteous and took good care of us throughout the night. The vibes and interior are also great... very warm and cozy. Now let's get to the food... I ordered the crab cake and filet mignon (5 oz). The crab cake was good but very small in portions. Also not much crab meat either. The filet mignon was overcooked for medium rare. It tasted dry and hard to chew. I think this might be the worst filet mignon I've had in a while. The salmon dish was just ok... nothing noteworthy about it. The highlight of the meal was the calamari. The sauce is so delicious! I think I'll stick to the other Great American restaurants.

We frequent Artie's too often! But we just can't help it! The atmosphere is so warm and cozy while the food is to die for! Our kid has baseball practice right next to this place twice a week so we have tried literally everything on the menu! The pecan, goat cheese starter salad is my fav of all times! I can't visit without this starter salad! Best part, it's always always consistent!

Artie's is a great place, either at the bar or in the dining area. Kind of like a Cheer's ambiance at the bar. Lots regulars that know the bartenders. Standard Great American menu expertly prepared. You can't go wrong here.

A lot of good menu options and a gluten free menu as well. The food was all decent, no complaints. Definitely try the Aussie rolls. Service is very friendly. The restaurant is very big with a lot of seating. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

It's fantastic... but the real hit are the Ozzie Rolls & Butter. OMG talk about addiction on my 2nd basket now while enjoying my Old Fashion w/Woodford

Are they still being cheap by charging for bread?

Yes, they charge $1 for community bread basket. It's all supposed to go to their community Kitchen. The bread is freshly baked and worth the $1. I dont think it's about being "cheap".

Is the weekend brunch ever coming back?

Do they have bottomless mimosas during their weekend brunches?

Sadly, they no longer serve brunch.

Do they only serve brunch on the weekends? Not on weekdays?

Sadly, they no longer serve brunch at all.

I love Arties. The thing is now I'm pregnant & don't know what's safest for me to have. Any ideas?

If u r worried about anything cooked - go for something uncooked like a veggie salad or fruit bowl.

    What time is brunch over?

3pm,but they stop passing around the menu at 2:45

Do they have a Lobster Roll?

Hi Kimberly, thanks for reaching out! We do not have a Lobster Roll at Artie's, but our sister restaurant, Coastal Flats, is just down the road in Fairfax Corner and they do!

The atmosphere: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting ambiance. There is plenty of spacious booth seating, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The food: My table started with the Crispy Fried Point Judith Calamari to share. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and didn't initially realize that the dish included pesto. The staff promptly remade the appetizer without the pesto, which I appreciated. However, the interaction left me feeling a bit like an inconvenience based on the tone of the response. For my entrée, I ordered the Patsy's 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of the House Steak Sauce, and it paired wonderfully with the steak. I highly recommend trying it if you're someone who enjoys dipping sauces with your steak! The service: Overall, the service was pleasant. The staff was kind, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. While there were a few minor hiccups, I enjoyed my visit and would return to try more of the menu.

We entered through the distillery, which was hopping, and slid into the secret cubbyhole that led to heirloom. The noisy World Cup crowd immediately silenced as we walked to the bar. It was like being in a completely different atmosphere. You can see from the photos attached that the meal was /cr B/ /ump I/ Teges. We started out with these great appetizers. I make a Barada burst at home, we learned in Italy how to do it. Yours was one of the best I've ever had. Same with the lemon ricotta ravioli. It's like we were in Sicily again. Sitting at the bar, we decided sure why not have their best steak? And we did. And it was. This was a Prime Kansas City strip, 18 ounce bone in. on top, a buttery braised shallot. Cooked to perfection, tasty and buttery. Our sides were these nice parmesan crispy, layered potatoes and a delightful grilled leaf spinach. We were a little disappointed we had no room for dessert. But we will be back! The service was spectacular. Sitting at the bar, it was like we had two personal servers and a third on standby at all times. It was fun watching them make the drinks, there is a lot of attention to detail. If you have not tried heirloom, I cannot recommend it more highly. We look forward to returning!

The salmon, while the best part of the dish, still left more to be desired. It was a bit dry and I didn't think the sauce was all that flavorful. I wanted him to feel special and have a high quality meal versus an AYCE steak option we tend to book yearly for his birthday. I loved the location. Parking was PLENTIFUL, and no annoying garage or complicated entrance! I have to say I don't really understand the point of a valet service here, though. I mean, if you wanted to park and walk a dozen less steps that would probably be the only valid excuse. I've driven by this location so many times and I've always wondered if it's a Tiffany and Co. Something about the colors. But honestly, the colors are classy and perfect so props! Our table was ready 15 minutes early. The entrance to the restaurant was really impressive and large. My husband said that it reminded him of a nice restaurant in New York City. It definitely gives the vibes that I was hoping for a celebration. We had incredible servers throughout our whole experience. The bread basket was actually so delicious and the butter came with flaky salt. Immediately the way to my heart. Soufaine is an absolute gem!!! we were having a hard time picking a good red dry wine to go with our intended entrée, and he really went above and beyond to make sure that my husband loved not liked his option he picked. He liked the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and I liked my Malbec. It was tough to resist the cocktails though, I'll def have to try those next time. I really love the special touches that they do for Events. The confetti on the table, the handwritten note, and the fresh long stem rose are so above and beyond. We were actually very hungry so we just opted to go directly to entrées. I ordered the bone in ribeye because I like a fattier cut, and I decided to try the Oscar style with lump crab. My husband got the bone in Porter house. Steaks here are actually cooked exactly as you order it. Nothing was overcooked. We decided to split the lobster mac & cheese, and the truffle fries. I think the lobster mac & cheese might be the best I've ever tasted. The noodles were not overcooked. The lobster chunks were present, and the cheese sauce was full of flavor and absolutely not lacking. The Oscar style was very interesting. Certainly had a lot of crab meat which I absolutely love, but I don't know what I was expecting necessarily. It came with a heavy hollandaise and I wish I would've asked for a description before committing to it. We devoured our steaks and still had a whole meal left to take home! This was a really nice aspect because it was not the most budget friendly meal, but the fact that we were able to enjoy it for two separate dinners definitely made it feel like a better bang for the buck. Lastly, the server brought out a complementary dessert for the celebration. My husband loved the crème brûlée cheesecake and I really loved all of the fresh berries! All in all, it was a very elevated dining experience. They pulled out all the stops and they really understand customer service because they were always checking in on us and always making sure that we were completely happy. As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

I did not find out until after we left the restaurant that both my daughter and my friend felt like their steaks were bit overcooked, but to the restaurants defense, neither one of them told our waiter what temperature they would like to have it cook to and so I, and they, agreed that they both had enough experience eating in steakhouses to know to ask a steak to be cooked to whatever temperature they preferred. So this is not on anybody except them. I would ask the restaurant in the future to instruct their wait staff to ask anyone ordering steak, regardless of size, what they're preferred temperature is.
