    Mustard and sesame crusted tuna
    Angela L.

Came for lunch about a year ago, so some details may have changed but wanted to share my experience. We were seated and received our orders within 10-15 minutes. The interior is clean with tables suitable for a more intimate 2-person meal or for larger parties. Ordered the mustard sesame crusted tuna and cherry blossom cake. Was pretty disappointed in both. The tuna was strangely too sweet which threw off the taste of the rest of the dish. The seasoning completely covered any natural flavor of the fish; the dish was otherwise comprised of plain rice and raw/lightly cooked veg. The presentation of the cake was a bit shocking. A large slab of white sheet cake that looked to be doused in neon pink syrup that tasted of sugar and not much else. I heard they have some good house-made poptarts here. Would maybe try that in the future, but would not recommend for lunch/dinner with the quality of food and price points.

I really try to avoid leaving one-star reviews, but they got five, yes FIVE things wrong, which made for an awful experience. (1) First it wasn't a good sign that my wife ordered sausage and got bacon. (2) Then they asked if I wanted Chohula or Tabasco, I said Tabasco but they brought Chohula. (3) When I took a bite of my biscuits and gravy it was cold! (4) So then they brought me a replacement that still wasn't warm! I lost my appetite at this point. (5) Then they brought my receipt and can you guess what happened - they tried to charge me for both the cold biscuits and gravy AND the replacement plate. I should also mention there is zero seasoning on the food. So bland!

I forgot how good the food is at TBs. The menu has a wide range of comfort-food staples--brunch classics, burgers, and their well-known house-made pop tarts! We got 2 to go! I tried something new on the menu. The Turkish eggs. It blew my mind. The poached Eggs were cooked perfectly, and the eclectic flavors melded perfectly. It also looked amazing. The bar cocktails were excellent. Where things fell short was the reservation process. We made a reservation in advance specifically to avoid a wait, but still ended up standing in the lobby for over 20 minutes past our scheduled time. I also got there 10min early. The host stand seemed overwhelmed, and people walking up appeared to have a shorter wait. It was really annoying. That location has a lot of foot traffic, so people came in waves. Part of the party were running late because it's hard to find parking.

We ventured here to try their breakfast. This was a great choice located right in the mall. Ted's portions are huge, it was a lot of food and of course I ordered more than I could eat. I ordered the cheese grits and big mark breakfast. The food was very tasty, the biscuit was very soft and flaky. We also ordered the make your own mimosa's with a pineapple ginger mixer. That was a great combination. This was a nice choice, the waiter was great, very accommodating.

Everything is always amazing!!! Husband had the meatloaf, I had the braised short ribs over fingerling potatoes sub's from the pasta... my friend had this amazing chicken ceaser wrap and OMG! I'll have that next time!

I arrived at Ted's on a late Monday morning to eat with a large wedding party. I'd accidently gone to the Fairfax Ted's so I was well behind the rest of the party. I settled in at an empty table once it was bussed. I was provided a menu and shortly thereafter the waiter brought over water. I ended up ordering a coffee and the steak and eggs. The coffee came out shortly but no spoon. Had to use my knife to stir. This was not an auspicious start. However, the steak and eggs made up for it. There was quite a bit of food, including home fries as well, and I couldn't eat it all. But I finished all of the steak and eggs with an addition of salsa. Checking out was easy and it was a good visit overall.

Went there on Easter and ordered from the all-day breakfast menu. The food was of good quality. The salad was great with a rich taste and the green freshness in your mouth. The toasts and eggs were decent. The blueberry cheesecake tart was a surprise. The service was very good. No awkward checking-ins and just the right amount of conversation. The environment was great. We were sitting outside and the weather was nice. The restaurant event had an Easter bunny hanging out with kids; it was awesome. Will come back soon.

We were seated quickly and had a nice view of the Mosaic District courtyard, which was nice. The chicken & waffles were great--would be nice if it was served with regular syrup instead of honey, but that's more of a personal preference more than anything.

Ted's breakfast never disappoints, especially at this location. I've had the Huevos Rancheros at another Ted's location before, but here it was prepared perfectly. The Salmon Benedict was also excellent, served on potato tots instead of the usual English muffins. Definitely a great spot for weekend brunch!

Loved the breakfast choices and coffee. Came for early breakfast and had the entire place to myself. Food was good, music was loud but chill. Service was great.

Always saw this place for along time but never tried until now! So glad this place a try. The Loaded Tots were delicious. Unique as it's not your typical round shape, instead it was cubed and the cheese was delicious. The chicken for the Chicken and Waffles were well seasoned. I enjoyed the butter that came with it as well. I was satisfied with the service. Luckily the wait was nice long and our service did a wonderful job to check in occasionally. Made sure we had everything and refilled drinks before we asked. Interior of this spot was creative and well made. Relatively clean and warm lighting. Definitely want to come back and try another item from the menu.

Stopped into Ted's after a nightshift with some coworkers and we were pleasantly surprised to see they had hospital happy hour from 7-8:30am for us night shifters! It was very clean inside with an upscale diner feel. We were sat immediately at a booth and service was great and fast! The bathrooms are located in the back and were clean as well. The restaurant is right in the square by a bunch of other restaurants and shops. Super easy to find in parking and a great spot to people watch as well. I appreciated the full bar being open at 7am as you don't find that everywhere. The food here is all day American, there is something for everyone. My meal was delicious and our food came out hot and ready within 10 minutes of ordering. They have a sizable drink menu with boozy milkshakes too! This is a great spot to get brunch at, modern American cuisine and right in the heart of mosaic.

The Harvest Salad would be nice if it weren't DROWNING in vinegary dressing. If you order it, get the dressing on the side.

Ted's Bulletin deserves its 3-star rating. It's an acceptable chain restaurant with a menu to please everybody, but it's nothing special, and the line cooks here do not prepare the dishes consistently properly. On our most recent visit, what would've been a nice entree salad was drowning in about 5x the proper amount of dressing. I should've sent it back, but we were in a rush. I prefer a salad too be tossed, but lesson learned: next time no dressing (or on the side). The "tuna bowl" similarly comes drowned in a cloying, thick "garlic" sauce that tastes like it came from a jar. Do yourself a favor and leave that off, too. The tuna underneath is cold, but the quality is fine and it warms up after sitting on its bed of white rice.

After looking over the menu - I ordered a Western Omelette with some tweaks: Substituted Chorizo for the bacon and ham, added mushrooms and spinach, also ordered a side of bacon, and a cold brew. I did not see cold brew on the menu - I asked and my waiter stated that they had cold brew. I note that they have iced coffee on the menu - I hope that is not what he ended up giving me. Harder to tell once Half n' Half has been added. As others have noted - there is a beach vibe going on with regards to the color of the place - a big emphasis on a teal/aqua like color. Food came up in about 10 minutes. Presentation-wise - everything looked appetizing. I tasted the omelette - and then I added some black pepper and hot sauce to the omelette as I always do. The omelette was tasty; the breakfast potatoes were hot and the texture was on point; and the bacon was very good. The "cold brew" seemed a bit on the weak side to me - so not sure if it was iced coffee... I was not paying attention to the pricing - when I got my bill - it was $40 dollars for an omelette, side of bacon and cold brew. Seems a bit steep to me. They charged me $3.00 for mushrooms and another $3.00 for spinach. Service was good, and the food was good - but at those prices, I probably won't be back. Paid with Apple Pay. #ChloezCafe
