My friends and I enjoyed quite a nice meal at this restaurant. We decided to eat family style and selected both the Whole Roast Chicken and the Mixed Grill for 2. And, of course, sprinkled in a few appetizers. The whole meal was delicious! Starting with the Whole Roast Chicken ... it was so juicy and tender. I think it was my favorite! And the Mixed Grill did not disappoint as well. It was great to taste the various kebobs, which paired wonderfully with the vermicelli rice. read more

I'm not the one to post a 5 star review on a Lebanese restaurant if it didn't 110% earn it, and Naja did just that. The vibes were impeccable at 7 PM on a Wednesday, the bar was perfectly lit, had awesome purse hooks from underneath the counter, European tranquil EDM vibes playing, and service was amazing. Shoutout to Thomas!! I had read that it was best to have a reservation if you wanted to sit inside and that is absolutely true. This spot may be new, but word has definitely spread about the delicious and authentic cuisine with a mildly modern take that in no way distracts from the flavors and traditional options. By the time we arrived around seven, the only option was to sit outside or to sit at the bar. Outside looked really nice. A lot of people were enjoying their spritzes and looking out and watching the kiddos running on the turf, but I didn't really want to run the risk of mosquito bites so the bar it was. Plenty of openings, which was really nice and nobody ever rushed us to open up the spot for anybody else. I popped in with one of my best friends who had already stopped by once to eat with her family and had great things to say! And because her family is also Middle Eastern, I knew that I had to take the suggestion very seriously!! We decided to split a few appetizers or mezze. We were in a little bit of a cheesy mood so we opted for the cheese pita, the cheese rolls, the toum Parmesan wings and the halloumi cheese. Everything was honestly so delicious. We barely had anything left over and when I brought some wings to my husband at the end of the night, he was so upset he didn't have a full order because he loved them so much!!! I also enjoyed their apricot spritz, which is usually a brunch beverage, but it was really refreshing bubbly, and I enjoyed the apricot flavor which is so reminiscent of the Lebanese apricot fruit leather I would find in my cabinet as a kid. Just hit the right amount of nostalgia. My friend got the sunset spritz and really loved hers too. I took the Naja combo home for the hubby and he gladly took it to work with him and left with a smile. I can't wait to come back to this place, what a great addition to mosaic District!! Everything was very tasty that I forgot to take pictures. We got the hummus with their pita and absolutely consumed every bite with joy! There is a kids menu with a few options and my kids tried the chicken with fries. Also got the steak kebabs and lamb chops which were all delicious. Alcoholic beverages were also pretty to look at as well as very tasty - they do not skimp on the alcohol. Staff were extremely attentive (my water was never emptied and constantly refilled throughout our meal) and our servers were very helpful. Plenty of seats inside (they do take reservations ahead of time) and there are seats outside on the patio. Parking is the same options throughout the Mosaic area. Although we really missed the Kirby Club, we were looking forward to trying its replacement, Naja.  Upon entering, much looks exactly the same with the open area and bar in the middle.  There are both tables and booths available.  The booths are really big and offer a lot of room which is great if you order a lot of food and need room on the table for all the platters. Today we started with a trio of dips, the havoc, tzatziki and muhammera. The red pepper one was our favorite although we enjoyed each one.  The offerings are large enough that we didn't finish all of them and brought some home for later.  The flatbread arrives nice and hot and there is plenty.  We also had the halloumi which was fine but we enjoyed the dips a little more.  For entrees we shared three different types of kebab, kofta kebab, steak kebab and the chicken (shish taouk).  Each one came with a generous portion of rice, pickled onions and a sauce for dipping.  Between the three, everyone had more than enough to sample.  The tea service was your choice of regular teas that are available in any supermarket.  I wish there had been a more special type of tea to accompany our meal or at least a pot with hot water as it could be a little hard to get the attention of someone to fill up one's mug with hot water.  The staff was very friendly but also very busy.  When the restaurant isn't full, it isn't too loud which is nice and there is plenty of parking in nearby garages. read more

I had to come on here and leave a review because Naja Mediterranean genuinely exceeded my expectations. I'm a newer vegetarian, and I've tried falafel from quite a few places at this point and if I'm being honest, I had started to get a little turned off by it. But this place completely changed that for me. Their falafel wrap? Absolutely incredible. You can truly taste the difference. They make their falafel fresh daily, and it shows. It was perfectly seasoned, savory, and MOUTH-WATERING. Not dry, not overly heavy, just pure perfection. I'm still thinking about it, and I would go back just for that wrap alone. We also tried a few appetizers, and everything hit. The fries were perfectly crisp (not soggy at all), the Brussels sprouts were packed with flavor, and the hummus was smooth and fresh, exactly what you want. The crudités were also a great touch and paired really well with everything else and whatever homemade sauce they're using? That took everything to another level. My friend ordered a salad, and even that stood out. The beets were incredibly fresh, and you could tell that quality is a priority across the entire menu. Beyond the food, the experience itself was just as good. The ambiance is beautiful, very calming and welcoming, the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal. The service was also top-tier. The servers were patient, attentive, and really detail-oriented. My friend has a gluten allergy, and they took extra care to make sure everything was handled properly, which we really appreciated. What really sets Naja apart is how fresh everything tastes. Nothing felt pre-made or rushed. It all felt intentional and well-prepared. We stumbled in here because our initial dinner plan didn't work out and another restaurant had over an hour wait. This was a Monday evening around 7. They sat us right away without an issue. This is int he Mosaic District so there is street parking as well as a couple garages. It's a dim setting and some light music. Service was pretty quick. We all split and chose the 3 dips - Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, and the Mouhamara. All 3 were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the Baba Ghanouj. We also decided to get the Mixed Grill for 2 for the 3 of us. It was plenty of food. I really liked the Kofta and the Koobideh Steak. Overall it was a good dinner, but there were some shortcomings. For starters were seated indoors and got bit by mosquitoes, though we were seated right away we didn't get a server till we asked hostess about it. Once the server came he apologized and we moved on, drinks and food came out in a timely manner. We were a table of 3 and ordered the mix grill for 2, 3 spreads, side of zaatar fries and halloumi and there was plenty of food and even leftovers. Delicious Mediterranean food, the crispy Falafel Burger and crispy brussel sprouts are delicious! The crispy Brussel Sprouts with dollops of goat cheese was very tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the Hummus and Pita app. While the hummus was tasty, I wish the pita bread was warm and fluffy. The flat pita bread was cold. The falafel burger hit the spot with a juicy center patty with crispy edges. The flavor was elevated by the hummus, pickles, and tomatoes. The burger was surprisingly not messy to eat. The battered fries were delicious and paired with the burger. The garlic Toum sauce paired well with the fries. The Cheesy Manaeesh Pita tasted like a cheese pizza with mozzarella and feta cheese. It was tasty and a good app to share. The Golden Liquid cocktail with Bourbon and honey and the Red Sands cocktail with Mezcal and blood orange cocktail were both flavorful and well balanced. Went here for lunch during the week. The food was a 5! I would even suggest a 6 if it possible. We had the holloumi and I cannot rave enough about this appetizer. It had some sweet chili sauce on top that I wanted to sop up. We did the fries which were also yummy. The grilled chicken wrap was a knockout as well. My wife and I had a couple great experiences at Kirby Club when it existed, but its somewhat limited menu prevented repeat visits. We had not returned to the restaurant since it changed hands and became Naja. A last minute pivot with a party of 5 gave us an opportunity to retry it, and we ultimately found the dining experience more compelling than its predecessor. Upon arrival, I was somewhat surprised to find the interior has only been lightly altered since the Kirby Club days. The restaurant still possesses a sunny, bright ambiance with large booths and a decently sized patio. We sat in one of the banquettes and ordered our food in short order. We started with the dips which taste very similar to prior. The havuc dip is unique to the restaurant and well worth an order for its sweet-savory flavor. The competent, tasty rendition of muhammara strikes the appropriate balance between smoky, roasted flavors and sweetness from pomegranate molasses and bell pepper. The hummus and baba ganoush both had a decently creamy texture, but did not satisfy to the same extent as the other dips. The pita served alongside tasted fresh but some pieces ran a bit dry. My parents enjoyed their falafel and chicken shawarma wraps which come with a side of either crispy fries or well seasoned breakfast potatoes. My wife and I did not love the kabob plate we shared. The kabobs were cooked competently enough, but tasted a little bland on their own and needed significant saucing from admittedly tasty condiments such as garlicky toum, tangy red shatta, and spicy shug. New to Naja is a menu of Lebanese manoushe, and we thoroughly enjoyed the lahm bi ajin rendition with a tender spread of well spiced lamb coating a soft, puffy layer of bread. Naja also possesses other brunch dishes that seem intriguing such as shakshuka and a breakfast wrap with kofta sausage. These dishes appear relegated to weekends, so consider a brunch visit for these appealing menu items. My wife and I also sampled a pair of cocktails which tasted fresh and balanced; the libations are a marked upgrade relative to the predecessor. Service was strictly so-so, as our waiter didn't act super warmly or helpfully. I think our server was more of an anomaly than anything, as the remainder of the staff were quite friendly towards us. Overall, Naja's expanded brunch menu and superior cocktail program render it well worth a visit for prior fans of Kirby Club. It's a great option for non-chain brunch in Mosaic and a worthy option for a Middle Eastern craving. read more

Naja was an multi-generational hit! We stopped by during the Arts Blooms Festival with my kiddos and in-laws and everybody loved the healthy, flavorful options and yummy grilled meats. The atmosphere was lively (especially with the great weather and the windows popped out), the service was friendly, and the interior was gorgeous. First time and it was great. I sat at the bar and had great service. The ambiance is way better than Kirby's and although I didn't try too many menu items, I do believe that the food was better. I ordered a Hefeweizen beer on draft that was excellent. I also ordered three spreads, the labneh, baba ganoush and hummus. They are all good but the labneh really stood out as the best and the baba ganoush wasn't roasted but did have plenty of spices to make it yummy. The flat bread was interesting. It was thicker than I expected but still good and it was served in an interesting dispenser that reminded me of napkins. I also ordered the steak kebab meal and it came with a very interesting dip that I couldn't quite break down. I feel like it had olive oil, mint, sumac and maybe cayenne. Stop by for lunch with a friend on a Saturday morning & was seated fairly quick. There's indoor seating & outdoor with their patio section which is great for warmer weather. Menu looked the same for the most part compared to the old place, Kirby club, that was here which was pleasant to see. I ordered the red pepper dip & the chicken koobideh! - dip was great with a peppery taste with a hint of sweetness & paired with bread! - chicken was flavorful and enjoyed the sauce paired the best. I think the pickled onion could have more flavor and the tomato I think is for aesthetics which was cute lol overall meal was good & the quality doesn't seem to be degraded compare to the old place that was there. Now for service - for the most part it was good! We were waited on fairly fast & food came out in a decent timeframe. They definitely seem to be under staff/ training staff as it did take a while to get the servers attention and there was an initial hiccups to our appetizer order but all good once we got it figured out. Tried this restaurant last night for the first time. This used to be a different Mediterranean restaurant and now is under a new management. The ambiance is the same as the last one. Our server was very attentive. Here is all we ordered: - Hummus and a side of Pita Chips: this was delicious. The hummus is very flavorful and we loved it. - Brussel Sprouts: this was ok. Definitely flavorful. But wish it was more crispy. - Falafel Bowl: my friend and I shared this as it's quite a generous portion. It was delicious. I went to Naja for lunch and we picked the perfect time. The service was friendly and the server gave us nice recommendations. My coworkers and I ordered the lunch sandwiches- the grilled chicken wrap, chicken sharwma, and the fried chicken sandwich. We all shared some delicious dips with fresh bread- we need ordered tzatziki dip, hummus, and the havuc. We all love the tzatziki it was super fresh however my fav was the havuc - carrot dip with fried shallots. We were visiting the area and found Naja on Yelp, but didn't know Saturday nights were "Naja-nights". So no tables were available but we were able to easily get carry out and it was delicious. They accommodated all of our dietary restrictions easily - and the grape leaves were the best ever!! Also the staff was extremely nice. There are a lot of people smoking right outside the patio even though they're not supposed to be so if you want to avoid the cigarette smoke go inside. read more

Food was great - we ordered the mixed grill for two and the hazuc spread. Everything was tender, flavorful, and delicious. The plate is a wonderful deal and super worth it - we got to try so many different proteins and every single one of them was cooked amazingly. We were given two extra spreads for free as well! The service was what made the dining experience a bit unpleasant. Our server gave us menus and then did not return. We didn't even see her in the section, she had just disappeared for over an hour. A taller gentleman came by and checked up on us after about 30 minutes of us waiting and very kindly took our orders despite us not being in his section (and checked up on the two tables adjacent to us as well), which we were very grateful for. Additionally, when paying for our check, we noticed that we were charged for the additional two spreads we were gifted earlier - which we had clarified with them that they were complementary, to which they had removed it from the bill. I would say we just got quite unlucky with the section we were sat in because everyone else was wonderfully pleasant (the hostess was very kind, prompt, and helpful!) and there were clearly other servers who would have been wonderful to be seated with. read more

Naja has become one of our go to places! We get the mixed grill for two every time and it has never disappointed. Fresh, plentiful, and tasty! The service is excellent, and if there was a lapse, they have always made up for it. Most recently, we waited a little longer than usual to be greeted and helped.
