    Hummus

We stumbled in here because our initial dinner plan didn't work out and another restaurant had over an hour wait. This was a Monday evening around 7. They sat us right away without an issue. This is int he Mosaic District so there is street parking as well as a couple garages. It's a dim setting and some light music. Service was pretty quick. We all split and chose the 3 dips - Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, and the Mouhamara. All 3 were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the Baba Ghanouj. We also decided to get the Mixed Grill for 2 for the 3 of us. It was plenty of food. I really liked the Kofta and the Koobideh Steak. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

Food was great - we ordered the mixed grill for two and the hazuc spread. Everything was tender, flavorful, and delicious. The plate is a wonderful deal and super worth it - we got to try so many different proteins and every single one of them was cooked amazingly. We were given two extra spreads for free as well! The service was what made the dining experience a bit unpleasant. Our server gave us menus and then did not return. We didn't even see her in the section, she had just disappeared for over an hour. A taller gentleman came by and checked up on us after about 30 minutes of us waiting and very kindly took our orders despite us not being in his section (and checked up on the two tables adjacent to us as well), which we were very grateful for. Additionally, when paying for our check, we noticed that we were charged for the additional two spreads we were gifted earlier - which we had clarified with them that they were complementary, to which they had removed it from the bill. I would say we just got quite unlucky with the section we were sat in because everyone else was wonderfully pleasant (the hostess was very kind, prompt, and helpful!) and there were clearly other servers who would have been wonderful to be seated with.

Delicious Mediterranean food, the crispy Falafel Burger and crispy brussel sprouts are delicious! The crispy Brussel Sprouts with dollops of goat cheese was very tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the Hummus and Pita app. While the hummus was tasty, I wish the pita bread was warm and fluffy. The flat pita bread was cold. The falafel burger hit the spot with a juicy center patty with crispy edges. The flavor was elevated by the hummus, pickles, and tomatoes. The burger was surprisingly not messy to eat. The battered fries were delicious and paired with the burger. The garlic Toum sauce paired well with the fries. The Cheesy Manaeesh Pita tasted like a cheese pizza with mozzarella and feta cheese. It was tasty and a good app to share. The Golden Liquid cocktail with Bourbon and honey and the Red Sands cocktail with Mezcal and blood orange cocktail were both flavorful and well balanced. Sally, the bartender and waitress was very kind and gave me complimentary Dubai Cake for my birthday. The Cake was decadent mousse with crunchy pistachio filling and topping. It was a sweet ending to a great meal Excited to come back for the Falafel Burger and Brussel Sprouts with some cocktails!

I went to Naja for lunch and we picked the perfect time. The service was friendly and the server gave us nice recommendations. My coworkers and I ordered the lunch sandwiches- the grilled chicken wrap, chicken sharwma, and the fried chicken sandwich. We all shared some delicious dips with fresh bread- we need ordered tzatziki dip, hummus, and the havuc. We all love the tzatziki it was super fresh however my fav was the havuc - carrot dip with fried shallots. We all enjoyed our sandwiches - especially with the zatar seasoning on the fries, however the dips and homemade flatbread made our day! Kudos to our server who made sure we never ran out of the flatbread we definitely plan on returning again.

Had dinner here with a big group and their platter was perfect to share family style. They also had vegetable platter for any vegetarians. We also got spreads to dip bread as appetizer with salad. They sadly were out of hummus at the time but the other dips like was good too. Their service was good and overall was a great place to accommodate for big groups!

Cocktails were steakhouse level quality. Both dishes had tons of different flavors. The steak balanced well with the rice and pickled onions. Fries were crispy. Large outdoor space which is nice when the weathers permits.

Good service. Chicken shawarma wrap was tasty, as was the beef kabob. The hummus was kind of heavy and the pita bread was a little dried out. Not bad for a lunch in mosaic.

Came on a Monday night to catch up with friends and left pleasantly surprised in terms of being full and quality of the food immediately upon entering the vibes and aesthetic were so cozy. we were seated and served immediately and the food came out relatively quick. we ordered a bunch of stuff to share family style. the trio dips were amazing but what it even more elevated was everyone got their own bread to dip for the sauce for the mains we did the meat dish and its advertised to feed for 2 but dont be fooled it definitely fed 5 of us and we had so much leftover def would recommend and return

    Labneh, baba ganoush, hummus

First time and it was great. I sat at the bar and had great service. The ambiance is way better than Kirby's and although I didn't try too many menu items, I do believe that the food was better. I ordered a Hefeweizen beer on draft that was excellent. I also ordered three spreads, the labneh, baba ganoush and hummus. They are all good but the labneh really stood out as the best and the baba ganoush wasn't roasted but did have plenty of spices to make it yummy. The flat bread was interesting. It was thicker than I expected but still good and it was served in an interesting dispenser that reminded me of napkins. I also ordered the steak kebab meal and it came with a very interesting dip that I couldn't quite break down. I feel like it had olive oil, mint, sumac and maybe cayenne. Anyways the meal was very satisfying and I would encourage anyone to try their labneh.

Stop by for lunch with a friend on a Saturday morning & was seated fairly quick. There's indoor seating & outdoor with their patio section which is great for warmer weather. Menu looked the same for the most part compared to the old place, Kirby club, that was here which was pleasant to see. I ordered the red pepper dip & the chicken koobideh! - dip was great with a peppery taste with a hint of sweetness & paired with bread! - chicken was flavorful and enjoyed the sauce paired the best. I think the pickled onion could have more flavor and the tomato I think is for aesthetics which was cute lol overall meal was good & the quality doesn't seem to be degraded compare to the old place that was there. Now for service - for the most part it was good! We were waited on fairly fast & food came out in a decent timeframe. They definitely seem to be under staff/ training staff as it did take a while to get the servers attention and there was an initial hiccups to our appetizer order but all good once we got it figured out. However towards the end of the meal, i felt that we were being rushed to leave which wasn't a great feeling but it is what it is I guess lol

    Baklava - loved it.

Tried this restaurant last night for the first time. This used to be a different Mediterranean restaurant and now is under a new management. The ambiance is the same as the last one. Our server was very attentive. Here is all we ordered: - Hummus and a side of Pita Chips: this was delicious. The hummus is very flavorful and we loved it. - Brussel Sprouts: this was ok. Definitely flavorful. But wish it was more crispy. - Falafel Bowl: my friend and I shared this as it's quite a generous portion. It was delicious. Loved the falafels and couscous in this bowl. - Baklava: this was delicious. Loved it. Overall, a great place for Mediterranean food in Merrifield. They didn't have any coffee here and the tea options were just black and green. They said they will get coffee soon. Definitely worth a try.

The baba gahnouj was the best I've ever had and I don't normally gravitate towards eggplant based dishes (same goes for our waiter who said the same thing). The fries were also good and same goes for the halloumi. Great place to drop by during happy hour.

Food was delicious but service was slow. The authentic taste of the food really helped with the overall experience. The falafel was warm and fresh. Labneg, baba ganouj, and the hummus were all tasty. The grape leaves were also good. The kabobs from the mixed grill were nicely cooked and the sauces that came with it were fantastic (especially the garlicky white one and the green chutney type one). The Dubai chocolate cake was made fresh and tasted heavenly. The mango cooler non alcoholic drink was decent.

The chicken portion was a good size and overall really enjoyed the dish. Likewise, I loved the mix between apple cider and a Moscow mule! This was so delicious and I also ended up getting a dirty Shirley Temple which was also really good and my first time having one. Our dinner last night was disappointing, and it was the worst of the many we've had here. The service was slow. The food was tasteless. We had to delay our departure while they corrected our check. The details are below. Maybe the first clue was when a waiter dropped a butter-coated knife on my back right after I sat down. That would have been a good time to cut our losses, but we persevered. , and it was the worst of We sat for a while before anyone came by to take our drink and appetizer orders. 15 minutes after that, our drinks and four slices of bread arrived. My Trio Manhattan tasted pretty good. (Hold that thought.) 15 minutes after that, the manager stopped by and told us that they had sold the last of the appetizers we ordered and asked us to order replacements, on him. (Hold that thought.) The replacement appetizers arrived. Our beef carpaccio had almost no flavor, except for the drizzle of sauce on top. We ordered our main courses, sides, and another round of drinks. The food showed up, but not the drinks. After asking several waiters, several times, my second Manhattan was delivered. It was warm (probably from sitting on the bar, waiting to be picked up for half an hour) and nowhere near as tasty as the first one. (You can let go of the first thought.) Back to the food... My Boneless Ribeye was boneless and also flavorless, except for the salt they had sprinkled on. The whipped potatoes were OK. The Jumbo Asparagus was asparagus and anything but jumbo. When the check finally arrived, we had to send it back (probably should have done that with much of what had been brought to our table during the meal) because they wanted to charge us for the appetizers that the manager said were "on him." (OK, you can let go of the second thought now.) To me, it's never worth paying for bad food. Being expected to pay a premium for it makes it an even worse value. This place, last night, was a complete waste of money.

(I didn't remind him that my experience last time was subpar.) All that to say, we went in with open hearts and minds - and hungry bellies. Took a while to get our drinks, but the coffee was good once it arrived. Did have to ask for cream, which again l, took a little while to receive. Our orders were taken and after a while our food arrived. I found it pretty funny that my Make Your Mark breakfast, in which you get to choose the style of egg and the meat, contained the wrong meat. Clearly you don't really have any say in the matter. The sausage patties that I had ordered were not there. Instead, I noticed after the servers had delivered the food, there was bacon on my plate and no sausages. Not a big deal, but we did have breakfast for dinner one night last week, including bacon, so I had really wanted those sausage patties! However, it really wasn't worth flagging down our server who seemed non-existent once the food was delivered and I tucked in. Everything was fine, though I find it really odd that they don't season their eggs or hash browns at all. Unlike during COVID, thankfully, they do have salt and pepper on the table now. My husband began eating his sausage gravy biscuits and made a disgusted face. His gravy was barely warm. Isn't that odd? Wouldn't you think it came from a bubbling vat of hot gravy, poured over oven hot biscuits? He's rarely one to notice anything worth complaining about, but this put him over. He flagged down our waitress when he saw her next and asked if she could heat it up. She said she would just ask for a new plate to be made. Fine, though we knew that would take a while. He finally received it after our son and I were both finished our meals. No problem, I drank my coffee and we chatted while he ate. The only problem, was that it seemed to be the same temperature as the previous plate. Clearly, they are keeping the gravy barely warm. (Health safety?!) To top it all off, when we finally got the bill, which took asking for, they had put two meals of the sausage gravy biscuits. Now my husband had to complain again to get one of them removed. So, you leave feeling like you are the bad guy or the grumpy patron and it sours the whole experience. I am certain we will not return. Oh well, hopefully you have a better experience - twice is enough for us, though.
