TL;DR: Good Korean Fried Chicken, but has lots of other dishes/options I haven't been to Chi Mc for over 10 years, but we tried the newer Centreville location over the summer. Interior is very cute - dark lighting, string lights, etc. They have plenty of tables, but also a bar area with TVs to enjoy a game. Service is always friendly, but at times they can be understaffed, so be patient. Food comes out quickly, except the fried chicken which they preface will take about 20 minutes, since it's made to order. FOOD: ~Fries (5/5): nice and crispy; very well seasoned. Comes with ketchup and spicy mayo ~Fried Chicken (5/5): 2 Flavors: Soy Garlic or Spicy - both flavorful; ~~2 types: wings (typically wings/drumettes) or drums (giant drumstick) ~~We like the wings (the drums are too large and doesn't absorb as much flavor). It is so crispy and has a good amount of meat on it ~Tteokbokki (4.5/5): One of my favorite tteokbokkis in the area. Comes with dumplings and gimmari (but they get soggy fast). I add ramen noodles too. The sauce is usually a good consistency, but at times it is a little watery ~Maneul dakddongjip (2/5): chicken gizzards. It was just okay. Gizzards are meant to be chewy, but these were a little too much/kind of burnt. The flavor was a little lacking, and the dish was overall very greasy ~Chicken katsu with cream udon (5/5): The katsu was surprisingly really good, though non-traditional. Reminded me of country fried steak breading. The cream udon was very good. Udon was cooked nicely with great chew. The sauce had a lot of garlic flavor and wasn't too rich from all the cream. Nicely balanced. ~Beers come in a nice frosted mug which is a nice touch Definitely have enjoyed every visit we have had here.

I've been to Chi Mc twice now both on Friday nights, and the chicken always hits! Sometimes it is really crowded and we have to wait for a table, but this past time, it was fairly empty. The chicken wings are so so good! It is probably one of my top Korean fried chicken spots. It has such a good crunch! Pro tip: if you enjoy extra spice, ask for a side of their spicy sauce it just gives it an extra kick! It's not too spicy but it's addicting that you want to keep dipping chicken in! Pair it with a pitcher of their ale and 10/10 combo! Especially after a nice workout!

The chicken is delicious, very crispy! The wait for food to come out can be a little long, but it is well worth it! The interior is also decorated very nicely.

This was my first time trying Chi Mc even though I've heard about it for the longest time, and I was pleasantly surprised with the food! I was a little surprised to see that they don't carry that many wing flavors. We got the bulgogi quesadilla as appetizer, and got the 20 soy garlic wings. The bulgogi quesadilla was pretty good but the wings were DELICIOUS! They were probably one of the crispiest wings I've ever had. The only downside was that the food took a long time to come out. We were waiting 30+ minutes for our wings.

We ordered pick up and the chicken was still very crunchy. We ordered different types of chicken and they were all very good. They also do military discount if anyone is interested!

Easy parking, great Holiday decor in a spacious & clean dining area. Really loved the effort put into the decorations. Super clean restrooms that smelled amazing- crazy I know, but super fresh Friendly Staff, and food came out hot & delicious. My wife is Korean and she says Five Stars all the way for everything. She loved her food & my chicken - LOL

This is good! If you eat chicken and have not had "KFC" -- Korean Fried Chicken -- you really need to try it. I ordered 20 pieces (half soy garlic, half spicy), for takeout. I used to go to Bonchon for this but stopped awhile ago because of Bonchon's lack of reliability and rising prices. Chi Mc's chicken is like Bonchon when Bonchon is good. Really crispy, really flavorful, and not oversauced. And the price per wing is slightly cheaper. The order came with a side container of pickled radish which offered a sweet and tangy foil to the salt and savory of the chicken. Order ahead of time online because this is cooked to order and will take a good 35 minutes at least.

Half and half 20 piece wings

So good! One of the best Korean fried spots around. We got the 20 piece wings and were able to eat ~10 pieces each for lunch. Their wing size isn't huge and the flavor is delicious making it easy to eat many wings. Would recommend the half and half since you get soy garlic and spicy. Their spicy is not too spicy and very tolerable. The wings are crispy, highly recommend!

OMG!!! Why is their fried chicken so good?! Our order included soy garlic chicken (wings and drums), Korean-style old-fashioned deep-fried whole chicken, and the stir-fried chicken gizzard with sliced garlic in butter and truffle oil (마늘닭똥집). The true star of the show, without a doubt, is their chicken. The soy garlic chicken was a masterpiece. It was flawlessly cooked, maintaining its crispiness on the outside while staying incredibly tender on the inside. I couldn't believe how it remained so crispy even with the sauce, even after sitting for 20 minutes. We've indulged in Chi Mc Chicken four times this month already, and I can confidently say I'm 100% satisfied!

Service was good, they were nice and different people brought our stuff out one by one when the food was ready. The cajun fries were pretty crispy and nice. They gave us popcorn before our food came out too! The rose tteokkbokki wasn't bad at all. The soy garlic / spicy 24 piece combo is what we got, and we ate most of it! We also ordered a pitcher of sapporo which was only $22! It was pretty spacious and comfortable too! Id go here again

Parmesan French fries

FOOD: Parmesan French fries + Medium wings DRINK: Soju This food was delicious!! Wings were WOW. I would give the fries maybe a 4/5 and the wings a 4.8/5 TIP: I would eat Soy garlic THEN the spicy (if getting half and half). If you eat the spicy then soy garlic, the soy garlic ends up having no taste because the spicy is so flavorful. SERVICE: 6/5 great people for sure! No complaints, only compliments. AMBIANCE: Mediumish size place. Enough seating. Lights can change around. Would 100% come back here! Definitely recommend

Chi Mc has finally arrived in Centreville! I didn't have the opportunity to try out their Chantilly location, sadly, so i'm glad that they found a new spot. This location takes over the old TapEx/Heo Tea spot in the Centreville Square II shopping plaza. The fried chicken is SO crunchy and flavorful! It came out piping hot and fresh. I got the medium order of drums and wings with half soy, half spicy. Spicy was my favorite. It was more than enough for two people. I also ordered the mandu which was crispy (pan fried) and served with a delicious sauce. The ambiance of this place is nice -- not too loud, and with a lot of tables. Service was great. I can't really say anything more than, it's great there is another tasty KFC joint in Centreville!

The place is always pleasant but on this night overwhelmed and understaffed. The food, we ordered several appetizers was good. Typical bar fare. The drinks (when you could get one) were well prepared. I love the reason this place is Honor Brewing and the ethos portrayed throughout, hugely patriotic and dedicated to not only military but domestic law enforcement, fire fighters, and all first responders. I will continue to enjoy this location and hopefully they have a better staffing plan for those busy happy hours during the holidays . I might add a great beverage list of craft beers.

The bartenders' skill set seems limited to cracking open a beer or the occasional home event, so adjust expectations accordingly; a cold Coors Light is about as adventurous as it gets. Most of the staff is friendly, though one manager who appears to be well past her customer-service era might want to consider retirement--her attitude does the atmosphere no favors. I hope they let their grandmother retire and rest up for the next life. She clearly has had a rough last couple of years. That said, the place itself is friendly enough and mostly clean, which counts for something.

And, keep an eye out so that you don't get bonked by a ball, running children, jump ropes, bean bags, frisbees, cricket bats. Dogs on leashes allowed outside, so watch your step. Poop station available. Not too impressed by the menu. Unimaginative, quickly assembled bar food. Small portions. High prices. The food being brought out by staff didn't look or smell enticing enough to order anything. I'm guessing people enjoyed the booze. I think food trucks visit occasionally. It's a place good for gathering, and the kids entertain themselves. Not many appealing options for drinkers of beverages not containing alcohol & the few available are expensive. Staff seemed nice, polite, generally helpful. Are there staff enforcing rules so that you don't get bonked by a ball or bat on the patio? Not so much. When it's crowded, the grounds can get awfully squishy, but once you find a good place to sit, it's nice to kick back with friends and family. Worth the drive? For some. I'd definitely not drive out for the food. But if you're in the area and want to take a break, and it's not crowded, then it's a convenient place to pull off and stretch your legs. Enjoy a beverage, if that's your thing. They have an event space for private events, so if that's your need, give 'em a jingle.
