    two cans of honor

Picked up a few 6 packs on our way to a local concert. We love trying different breweries and wish we would have known about this place sooner so we could have stayed! The brewery is located in an industrial park, not hard to find if you have waze though. Inside was clean and staff super friendly and helpful. There was a food truck outside and they were getting ready to have some live music which it sounded like they do frequently. We bought the Dress Blues which was a blueberry lemonade wheat beer. 5/5 great balance not too sweet or overly "wheaty" which these styles typically bloat me to the high heavens. I was grateful! Also picked up the About Face American Pale Ale 4.5/5, crisp and delicious! And my favorite the Classified American IPA 5/5!!! Great session IPA that's low cal and full of flavor. Also just want to thank these guys for supporting the troops, you can tell its a passion when you step into the brewery. My husband and I were heading to Arlington the next day to visit the grave of my great uncle who was finally laid to rest in the states in 2020 after serving in WWII. I couldnt help but think Uncle Mike would have liked this place! Keep up the great work we will be back to visit!

Fantastic brews, super friendly staff. Highly recommended

I was really excited to visit Honor Brewing last week in honor of 9/11. This company is veteran owned and, having 3 brothers in the army, I try to support our troops and veterans as much as possible. Its not a place to come and drink with friends, it is solely a take out type business. The customer service was great. The lager and cherry wheat are good!! Mango Shandy was just too sweet for me unfortunately.

    Always clean!

Honor Brewey is new in my town of Fairfax! This place is always clean (bathrooms, bar, and walkways). The ambiance is nice, the music is not too loud, and the guests are nice The staff is clean, communicative, and efficient. Bartenders are Friendly (See Chase at the bar too).

    Honor beer samples.

We attempted to go to the stout fest the first day and were unable to find parking and saw lines out the door at 1pm. So, we went for the second day when they opened and had no problems at all finding parking. The space is large with high ceilings and lots of tables, which they supplement with outdoor tables during good weather. There are a number of pinball machines (which only take quarters) along the wall to the right of the entrance. They were very well organized for the Stout Festival and servers were helpful with answering questions about the large number of (around 20, didn't actually count) stouts on offer. You can select a flight of 4 brews to try or go straight for a pint. Eugene's sausages are also sold here and they are outstanding. We opted for sample flights of the stouts since it was the Stout Fest, but they offer a wide variety of brew styles. All of the stouts were excellent and varied from a dry style to much sweeter. My personal favorite was the Black Forest which featured distinct notes of cherry and chocolate, as the name suggests. If you love beer you might just find your new favorite here. Highly recommend.

Silent Wings is a Coffee Brown Ale from Honor Brewing out of Sterling, Virginia. As a veteran myself, I have a massive amount of respect for this veteran-owned local outfit. The brew is excellent--smooth and flavorful with a distinct coffee profile. While it was delicious in April, the flavor profile strikes me as a perfect fit for a fall or winter evening. I'll definitely be looking to stock up on this again once the weather cools down. I may never make it out to Sterling but will keep an eye out for the brew!

Our group hung out outside, where they have a large area with campfire pods, which was really nice since it was a little chilly that night. I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I appreciated that they had non-beer options on the menu along with non-alcoholic drinks as well. Emily did an awesome job taking care of our party, especially since we were a pretty large group celebrating a birthday. I'd definitely recommend getting the s'mores basket (it was a big hit with everyone). My mojito was pretty good too. One thing I'd mention is that it's probably better to order directly through your server or at the bar instead of using the QR code ordering system. We tried ordering drinks through the QR code and they never came out, even after waiting around 30 minutes. Thankfully, Emily saved the day and got everything sorted out for us.

Dark woods, colored lights stickers, TV playing, music going and the vats for brewing. Walked up and took a seat at the empty bar, arriving minutes after they opened on a Monday. Looked at the tap menu, as well as can for sale. My sister ordered a lemon lime cider and I decided on a Polvo Pils. After that trip to Prague, I will always search out a good pilsner. Ocelot had a wonderful pilsner, served properly. I followed this up with Little Black Book. Can you ever go wrong with a nitro tap beer? The answer is no. So, after two rounds, I was impressed with the beer, definitely better than what I had tasted the previous days. The beertender was attentive, the decor was somewhat eclectic, lots of colored lights strung from the ceiling. Barrels against the wall, as the main beer hall opened up to the production side of the establishment. The pinball room was awesome, wall to wall pinball machines, light flashing, looked like it would really be a happening place at quitting time. All in all it was the best beer experience I had while visiting. Would recommend a stop if you don't want to battle traffic out of IAD at the wrong time of day.
