The location is excellent and the ambiance is great. I would say that nothing is quite spectacular about the beer but I would still rate it a 4/5. Most are solidly average and you can enjoy an eclectic mix of different types of brew. I would also say that the multiple seating options are a plus depending on if you want to watch a game or if you're just wanting to enjoy a beer and quieter chat with a friend. Decent tap list. Thought the best was the Friesian Dark Lager - 5.3% ABV. Light lager but with good roasty coffee and chocolate notes. There are too many IPAs on the tap list. Hope they balance things out. They also have some bourbon and wine options. Food is the star here. Check out the chicken wings with jerk sauce. They are grilled. I had the jerk shrimp tacos and the guava cider. Both were so good hubby had the Aroha...said it's one of the best IPAs he's had thus far. Nice spot at the end of a shopping center. Friendly staff. I really really wanted to like this place, so I'm a little bummed out. Ragz and I stopped by to check it out on Saturday afternoon. They had live music and it was def busy. The seating downstairs seems a little odd, especially the outdoor place. It felt like people were piling up in one spot without enough space to truly hang out, while the rest of the area seemed empty almost - don't give the true brewery feel unfortunately. We headed upstairs because we were hungry. I do think their beer selection is decent and the beer itself was good. Our bartender, Savannah was also sweet. The food is where I was sorely disappointed. Their menu looks a lot more fun than the food actually was. I started with the feta and watermelon salad which looks nothing like the photo on their menu. It was fine, a little bland in my opinion. I did appreciate the 2 different colors for my watermelon. Ragz really liked the chips though, thick cut but still crispy. We had to ask for ketchup, I feel like these should have an accompanying sauce. The pork belly was okay acc to Ragz, he didn't finish the whole thing because it felt too fatty, but bland at the sam time. The wings were totally disappointing honestly - the butter chicken sauce was a watered down pansy version of what it could be - I think these had potential to be amazing, but unfortunately felt flat. It almost felt like they were trying to Americanize the sauce and took it too far in my opinion. The bhel was also sad - big pile up of just the mix, not seasoned well and not sauced well either. Overall disappointing meal. I realize this is a brewery, and they focus on beer ( which is decent from what we tried). However, I was just so excited about their menu options! We might swing by again one of these days to try more food and just chill in the evening. I'd definitely like to give them another chance. read more

After our work event we went here for drinks and food, the staff was not prepared. We had open bar there were only three people behind the bar and only two of them knew how to make drinks. And yes they knew we were coming this was reserved. The drinks were watered down super slow service and they food was cold. I had an expresso martini and it was super sweet then I tried a dirty martini because you can't mess that up and it tastes like olive juice only. A great new addition to Leesburg in my opinion. It has a very unique blend of food options that you typically don't get at breweries. As well as conversations with the head of the kitchen was great for inside knowledge that about 90% of the kitchen food is from scratch and made fresh every morning. The overall space is great with the indoor and outdoor seating (For now as the weather is still nice). The staff were friendly and great to converse with! Very personable. read more

Drove from Pennsylvania to visit family. When I arrived they were still working. So to kill some some time I stopped here to have an appetizer and a drink. I arrived and the waiter was very polite. I kindly said, "do you serve food, I haven't eaten all day." He said yes and handed me a menu. I sat down and ordered a drink. The waiter brought me the drink and I said I'd like to order an appetizer. I'm then informed, "I'm sorry but our kitchen is closed." So you waited til after I ordered a drink to tell me this?! Sorry not a good experience for me! If your kitchen is closed?! Communicate this to your customers before they order drinks. Who are expecting they will be served food. Service was amazing! Tyler and Savannah are the bar tenders and had amazing recommendations and great charisma! Allie (waitress) caught us before we event got to the garage doors asking if we wanted to sit outside or inside! We got 2 IPAS a Pilsner and heff to taste before oreeeing our drinks. The first time visiting was the first week they opened and things were a bit frazzled; they forgot a few items in our order, the tables were not clean, we didn't have silverware, they brought the wrong beer order, etc. No one welcomed us in and we had no idea if we were supposed to seat ourselves or if there was table service? We figured they would figure things out. The food was decent: we ordered slider's and the pretzel. Today we visited and the service was just as lacking. The place was not busy, however tables were dirty, and we grabbed the only clean table. It took quite a bit for the server to come over. We ordered the shrimp curry - tasty, the pork buns - messy and delicious and the pork belly- not crispy and completely covered in chili crisp. The beer was pretty good. The waitress never bothered to pickup finished dishes or empty glasses while we placed a dessert order. Overall, they seem to still be figuring things out. The servers either have not been trained properly or they don't care? The menu has also changed since our last visit, so that may be a seasonal thing or they haven't nailed down the menu? Overall, I would recommend visiting with the caveat that it may or may not be a pleasant visit. Try for yourself. read more

4/5, November 2024. We finally made it out here to check out this new brewery. We first heard of it from a Loudon County Brew trail map that listed it as coming soon a few years ago. So we've been passively following project ever since. We had a couple flights and a couple appetizers. The beer was solid if not on par with the best in the area. But that's still an accomplishment for a brewery this new because the competition is pretty stiff. The food was good, we had the pretzel and the cheese curds. The pretzel was good but the curds were excellent. The service was good and we were well taken care of by the team of bar tenders. The place is definitely brand new but they've included some art and other style touches to give it some character. Lastly the value was quite good. Would definitely recommend if you find yourself in the One Loudon area as it's just around the corner. read more

Located in the Texas Roadhouse Shopping Center. This is a much needed venue for this area. We were excited to visit. Plenty of parking and lots of open seating both in and outside. Staff: super friendly and they showed a zest for their products(food and beverages) Beer: a nice selection with very good descriptions. They also offer a flight of 4 if you want to sample. My favorite was the Pilsner. Beers and ciders were $7 Food: we had eaten lunch so just wanted a couple of snacks. The fresh fried pork rinds were spiced perfectly and were very good. It is always nice when a new brewery opens up in the area, so we decided to try this one. Overall, the parking, service and ambiance were good. We ordered two beers (Kolsch & Amber Ale) that were tasty, but the food experience was a major disappointment. The chili dogs contained very little chili, so unsure why they are listed on the menu as chili dogs. We requested one of the chili dogs without onions and our server told us that the chef does not do requests - the customer gets what he makes with no changes! Needless to say, other than being smothered with onions they did not have much taste. The cheese curds looked great, but after trying a couple of them, we both noticed that they consisted mostly of hollow breading with very little cheese inside them. Again, not much taste so we didn't eat the rest of them. We hope that Route 7 Brewing management reads this review and remedies their food quality/flexibility, as we believe the brewery has great potential. read more

First time going to Route 7 Brewing, big let down. Made it inside and was told that seating at tables was an open seating policy and a sever would come to us to take our order. We sat down at an open table and waited greater than 20 min and still no one came to take our order. Nobody came to our table either. Then a manager came by and asked if we had been helped, and said that someone would be over to help us out. We waited another 10 min and still nobody. These people have cracked the nut. Good beer and good food with a great atmosphere. Had a flight of beers and all of them were good. The Kolch and three IPAs. Ended up going for a full pour of Sailing Strong, fantastic. My wife had a mocktail that was great. There is an extensive menu and the food is clearly prepared and devised by a chef. The attention to detail with the food sets it apart from most others. The staff is very friendly, especially Michelle, and are very knowledgeable. The interior is very nice also. I love this place, have gone probably a dozen times or more. I really enjoy the beer, the cocktails, and the food. But I can't get over how bad the service is :/ I thought it was just growing pains as they newly opened and figured things out, but it's been pretty consistently bad. You'll have better luck sitting at the bar, in our experience. If they could just fix the standard and quality of their table service, they'd be golden. Like a simple "Hey, welcome! I'll be with you in just a few minutes" (if they're busy) would be so easy and make all the difference. But even on slower days, just expect that you'll be ignored/ not acknowledged for several minutes until someone slowly makes they're way to you (in a less than friendly manner). I understand this doesn't apply to everyone there, but the normal servers we've encountered could grow a little in this area. That's my critique as someone who has been in the service industry. The great things I can rave about are the atmosphere, the good amount of outdoor seating, the beer (though they do run out of some of the popular ones a bit), and their fantastic food. read more

Good new place for some beer and food. Been here twice now and I have encountered the same issue, which is they do not manage their bar seating. People skip 1-2 seats and people step away from the bar to go smoke. I have sat at 2 different spots that looked open and am told that "I think someone if sitting there. Very frustrating! We went here for a happy hour after we had a dri tri at our gym. The place was very busy, service was very poor. Our table waited a minimum of 30 mins to have their drinks delivered. Would literally go to any of the other breweries before coming here again. Went to give this place a try last night, and it did not go well. We walked in, and everyone just turned around and looked at us (actually stared). Not many folks inside, but the small bar on the first floor was full (half the seats were actually empty, but apparently being held). The lighting seemed way too bright for a bar atmosphere, and it honestly did not seem like there was much activity. A smiling lady with reindeer antlers finally came out and said, "Hi, you can sit where you would like." My boyfriend prefers the bar to a table, so we paused, but then we saw the upstairs bar and asked if we could sit there, and were told yes. We walked upstairs, where a non-smiling bartender told us "Just so you know, I can serve you something now, but then I'll be going downstairs so there will be no one up here." Absolutely no charm, no hospitality, no warmth, so we turned around and left to go to another local place where our business was very much appreciated. Such a shame for a new place five minutes from home. Why even be open to offer such a poor experience to the local clientele? read more

The brewmaster came from House 6. He knows what he is doing. The beers are excellent. Nothing pretentious there - just good pure beer. The food is much finer quality than your typical brewpub. The items are small plate, but there is plenty to choose from and you get full. Try the tacos, wings, sliders and pretzel. The bacon cheese that comes with the pretzel is ridiculously good. read more
