Still very new. Currently, It's a kind of soft opening. Think they fully open ... May (don't quote me). That being said the beers were quite good. We were very impressed. I enjoyed the Nutty Nomad and the Midnight Roast. The others were pretty good. The inside area is small, there's an outside covered area. Had a Bear Chase Brewery landscape, which will be very nice for bands etc. They have a decent size food menu. Tried the Mozzarella sticks and the Jalapeño poppers. Both were your average fried type bar food. Nothing outstanding. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

This place is great and is now on my list of regular rotating breweries I visit. What really makes this place special is the service, great folks with a lot of beer knowledge. I found a favorite after a flight. Food was above average brew food, we had wings and a few other apps, really good. Nice view of the river. Only ding was the app to use to order, but they were great with working around it. I'll be back soon.

Home Run on the first at bat! First the breath taking scenery will bring you back. Then the greeting at the door to explain how to order was awesome. The service was quick and friendly. Now for the food. The chicken mushroom pizza is AMAZING! Great crust and hearty toppings and perfect for two hungry people or three for sharing. The Belgian Dubbel was solid. Lighter beers need to add body but that comes with time. This is the start or something special!

When here with my girlfriend on a Friday night and we will be back. We love the location, right off the Potomac, has mini golf and axe throwing (kid friendly) the beer flight was amazing and my girlfriend loved the pineapple seltzer. The food was the best part of our trip, everything was so good, our favs were the mango vindaloo wings, the peperoni pizza and those amazing indian egg rolls. will be back with the family soon, loved our visit

    The bar area.

The fish and chips are stellar. The location is very quaint, sitting on the Potomac river. Just saw 13 deer run across the parking lot. Great place to hang out and have a beer.

View of the brewery from where you park (no cars up the hill)

Unfortunately, found they were closed after walking up the hill (even tho during days/hours posted on the website). Would recommend calling ahead before coming out, but no phone# on the website. Be ready for walking up a hill/driveway to get to the building when you go! Will update the rating next time when I can taste the beer.

Great food and service. Good place to watch a football game! My girlfriend had a good seltzer and I had the Oktoberfest.

Very family friendly, plenty of place to run around and the food comes out quick (no specific kids menu but the grilled cheese was a huge hit). The Director of Operations, Kat, was lovely, came by our table to chat and shared a little more about the makers market they were hosting and some of the special events (Monday bingo night!!) they have going on. The food was not only quick but also delicious -- I will be dreaming about the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls tonight. My uncle was in the mood for a burger which wasn't on the brewery menu but they did have at a food truck outside!! Not a beer girl but I tried one and it was great (I think called the one sip wonder). TVs and lively atmosphere, could've spent the whole day here!!

Limited menu that seems more like the strategy is to see how many transformations of basic pub grub one can do. Not necessarily elevations but more like combinations of limited ingredients & heated quickly. Lots of seating but not really enough if you have kids. Come early on a busy day, if so. And, keep an eye out so that you don't get bonked by a ball, running children, jump ropes, bean bags, frisbees, cricket bats. Dogs on leashes allowed outside, so watch your step. Poop station available. Not too impressed by the menu. Unimaginative, quickly assembled bar food. Small portions. High prices. The food being brought out by staff didn't look or smell enticing enough to order anything. I'm guessing people enjoyed the booze. I think food trucks visit occasionally. It's a place good for gathering, and the kids entertain themselves. Not many appealing options for drinkers of beverages not containing alcohol & the few available are expensive. Staff seemed nice, polite, generally helpful. Are there staff enforcing rules so that you don't get bonked by a ball or bat on the patio? Not so much. When it's crowded, the grounds can get awfully squishy, but once you find a good place to sit, it's nice to kick back with friends and family. Worth the drive? For some. I'd definitely not drive out for the food. But if you're in the area and want to take a break, and it's not crowded, then it's a convenient place to pull off and stretch your legs. Enjoy a beverage, if that's your thing. They have an event space for private events, so if that's your need, give 'em a jingle.
