Nachos, Pretzel with Queso, and French fries
Chloe P.

I pass this brewery daily on my commute to work. I finally got to visit yesterday with some friends and our experience did not disappoint! We ordered pizza, apps, and a variety of drinks. My personal favorite was the strawberry seltzer. When I first entered, there was tons of families and limited seating, or so I thought. Then I realized they have even more seating towards the back, like you are headed to the restrooms. Just follow "The Greenhouse" signage. In the Greenhouse they had live music! I can't wait to go back when the weather warms up!

I'm not typically a brewery person (since I'm not really into beer), but Harvest Gap won me over with their amazing cider -- definitely worth trying even if beer isn't your thing. The venue honestly stole the show. With both indoor and outdoor spaces, it strikes the perfect balance between a cozy date night spot and a laid-back place to bring the family. We caught a great sunset and a solid live band, which really added to the vibe. I ordered the chicken panini -- it was just okay. A bit bland and didn't quite match the energy of the rest of the experience. Overall, go for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere. It's a beautiful spot to unwind.

Great pumpkin beer and an IPA

This place is fun!!! Lots of beer choices and really good too!!! We brought our pup Autumn and she languished in the delicious grass. There is a playground for the kids. They have a pumpkin and gourd picking patch and a corn maze. This place rocks!!! Get the Nachos!!! They are delicious! Next time we visit we will get the pizza and wings!! We'll be back!!!

Massive parking lot so no shortage of parking. You order inside at the front. They have wine, beer and seltzer. They have decent food (large pizza is $16 small is $10). They also have food trucks. Lots of tables outside some with umbrellas and a small play area for kids. They sometimes have bands and play mostly country music which is a bit bizarre. But lots of space.

Had such a great afternoon here yesterday! The craft beers were delicious, and there were so many options! Tons of seating and lots of things to do! We played corn hole, explored the corn maze, and played some Uno. We also got some wings, chicken quesadillas, potato wedges, and pizza. Typical bar food, but it hit the spot! Nice staff too! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Food was pretty mid here. My husband got a burger and barely finished it. For the price he expected more than a frozen patty. I got the Apple Brie and chicken sandwich. It was ok but the chicken was luke warm and tough so assuming also frozen. Overall disappointing food but the beer was ok.

What a cool spot! We just happened to be driving by and thought it looked cool so we pulled in, and we were so happy that we did! We got a flight of beer for $12 and we got to pick any that we wanted. They have a range of beers and ciders. The bartender in the greenhouse was really nice and recommended her favorite beers. Their food menu looked amazing, prices weren't crazy. They have a nice indoor area to sit, but we sat outside and they had a live band. The band was really good and people were dancing. They also had a number of picnic tables out as well. Ample seating and ample parking! We will be back.

4 + 1 beer flight and the Heavy D sour ale

This place continues to get better. Their outside patio/lawn area is great. The food is really good and the menu is surprisingly extensive for a brewery. The beer selection is diverse and delicious. Some breweries are a cool hangout spot but their beer is just ok. This place is fun AND they have great beer (and wine too). They also have live music all weekend. 5-star!

Flight and view from the outdoor seating

This brewery has got to have one of the best views around! Once you pay a visit, it's clear why it's called "Harvest Gap". The outdoor seating in the back of the brewery looks out to beautiful mountains and farmland. There is plenty of outdoor seating for you to safely stretch out. There's a covered section to get out of the sun and picnic tables that also have individual umbrellas. They also have a fire pit which I'm sure is great for chillier nights. The bartender was very kind and recommended a flight since I was having trouble deciding. It was a good chance to get a taste of everything. They had a lot of unique flavors including some ciders and some sours with interesting fruit combinations. They even have hard seltzer which was a nice surprise! I enjoyed all but one of the choices I picked for my flight. The one I did not enjoy was a Pilsner mainly because I found it to be a little too hoppy for my taste. That one was a wild card choice for me so I'm not surprised I liked the sweeter choices more. Overall, I really enjoyed the service, the atmosphere, and the prices weren't bad either! I definitely would come back the next time I am in the area!

My sister treated me to lunch one day at this brewery. The location is perfect, with seating inside and ample outside seating as well. There's ton of parking. The place is perfect for group parties and the food is pretty good. I decided to get nachos which hit the spot. I'll definitely will be coming back in the fall.

Wheat field!

Close to the road so easy to spot, this place has decent parking and lots of tables inside and out. When we visited there were about 16 beers with almost every kind represented. Brown ale and Hefeweizen were decent. Panini Reuben and boneless wings did the job and I sit here in the warm April sun listening to country music and looking out over the young wheat field. Life is good here. Staff but overly knowledgeable on beers but with this selection you can't go wrong.

View from the shade

A beautiful venue with a gorgeous view, sounds perfect for a brewery! Stopped here with two friends and my two dogs, sat outside under the shaded covering which was a necessity on a sunny summer day when the dogs couldn't sit inside. I know it is summer, but I'd been hoping for a darker beer... no luck, I tried the red ale and it was pretty good. I think I ended up getting two. The consistency/color of each pour was very different, which didn't really bother me but was interesting to note. I even clarified with the bartenders that I got the right beer, and they confirmed that this happens sometimes. Still yummy! The bartenders were great and fun to talk to. There was a food truck outside, but also food you could order inside. We all contemplated sharing something, but each of us really ended up wanting a panini (and a different panini at that). We each ordered our panini, I got the turkey panini and it was delicious! Had too much sauce (mustard and mayo), so next time I would definitely ask for light sauce, but I'd order it again! Everyone was very satisfied with their sandwiches. Next time I'm out that way, I'd definitely visit again.

They have some seating indoors and a small deck area, plus picnic benches overlooking the vineyard. Our sommelier was excellent- knew all the different offering for both wine and beer and had some great suggestions based on our preferences. We did both a beer and a wine flight- seven out of the eight were excellent, which was very impressive. They have a good selection of light food as well to go with the drinks. Honestly my only complaint about this place is that they mostly do bags instead of bottles, which is a real shame. We will definitely be going back!

The brewery opens at 12 and they ask that you don't start the trail until about an hour before open. We got there right at 11am and were the only ones on the trail! It took us just over an hour, was well marked, about 500 feet of net elevation, and had a nice overlook towards the end. Starts and ends right at the brewery. Afterwards I got a beer flight which was delicious and I had many beers to choose from. My favorite was the seasonal pumpkin beer! I didn't get food but saw they have pizza on weekdays and additional food trucks on weekends. My pup had a great time. There were lots of water available and dog bowls if you need them. The views for drinking were immaculate. This is a special brewery and we'll be back for sure!!

The views are better than Bluemont Vineyards next door and the atmosphere is a bit more laid-back and casual. There's plenty of seating with umbrella tables and chairs (albeit not covered seating) as well as in the back of the tasting room. There are about 20 beers, seltzers, and some non-alcoholic beers on draught. I enjoyed the Apple Cider Seltzer on tap with 1/2 pour. It's honestly worth paying the extra $2.50 for a full 16 oz pour. Sadly, I made another $8 for a 2nd round of the 1/2 hour. Lesson learned - next time! There's standard bar finger food and pizza - decent, filling, not quite a culinary experience. The Garlic Fingers were okay. The Dirty Crisps were tasty with kettle chips topped with ricotta cheese, prosciutto, pesto, and hot honey. There's also a food truck on site selling Mexican food as well and my friend enjoyed her 3 tacos for $10. Excited to come back for some cider, accompanying bar food, and breathtaking views! While Bluemont gets all of the hype, don't overlook Dirt Farm Brewery!
