This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. We decided to try this place for dinner on a weekend evening and were surprised by how empty it was. At first we assumed maybe we had just come after a rush, but after seeing the condition of the dining area and the overall service, it became easier to understand why the restaurant was so quiet. Given how slow the restaurant was, we expected attentive service. We placed a fairly simple family order, and the waiter even wrote everything down, which initially gave us confidence the order would be handled correctly. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We were served chips and salsa while waiting for the food. When we asked for more chips, the waiter brought another basket but completely ignored the fact that the salsa was nearly gone as well -- despite placing the chips directly next to the empty container. Small details like that reflect a lack of attentiveness and basic customer awareness. The bigger issue came when the food arrived. Three separate orders were incorrect, and not minor mistakes either. Considering how empty the restaurant was, this was especially frustrating. When we pointed out the mistakes, the dishes were taken back, but they returned suspiciously fast and appeared to have simply been altered rather than remade properly. For example, sauces and toppings that were incorrectly added seemed hastily scraped off instead of the meals being freshly prepared. That is not how order corrections should be handled, especially when food allergies or dietary restrictions could potentially be involved. I understand service standards have declined in many places over the last several years, but this experience was genuinely far below expectations. Between the inattentive service, multiple incorrect orders, and poor handling of corrections, the entire dinner felt rushed and careless. read more

Below average. Besides the ambiance - which was nice - they had poor service especially from the bartenders, who were unaccommodating. Micheladas were diluted, not authentic nor spicy at all - although specified and requested - and they couldn't accommodate my request of adding some lettuce on the side (for my nachos order). I would say 3.5/5, but when businesses say "no" and don't take requests, don't listen and aren't accommodating (especially for simple things like lettuce), then they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. The bill was wrong when presented and we had to have a number of items removed from the bill which we never ordered. The food was pretty bland. The food was really good, the queso was excellent, the salsa was a bit too spicy for me but my friends really enjoyed it. Pretty decent for what it is. Chips were tasty, guac was decent, salsa could've been more flavorful. Their giant margaritas are worth getting- you really only need one with how big it was. I got the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas and I found it solid. It's a lot of food- even as a big eater I took some home. I'm a bit annoyed that they never asked me if I wanted corn or flour tortillas and when I asked for corn after they brought me flour tortillas, they didn't tell me they would be adding a $2 charge for the additional tortillas. Restaurant is quite spacy. Staff was WONDERFUL. It was raining when we came in so they let us stay a bit after closing to enjoy our meal and hide away from the rain. We ordered everything to share so we ordered a steak fajitas , sangrita (mixed of sangria and margarita) in the largest cup. We ordered tacos carnitas and were provided with salsa and chips. - Chips were great, salsa were just okay - Fajitas were fantastic, Hot, and plenty to share and steak is juicy. - Carnitas were delicious an rice and beans were flavorful, I could eat the rice by itself. I just walked in to get some food but before getting any food I need it to use the bathroom so I was there for some long time I guess cause then my stomach hurt. A few times the owner walked in the bathroom and leave the main door open telling me to get off. Very rude and disappointing knowing the owner is very rude. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas (served with Mexican rice, charro beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream and warm flour tortillas). The platter arrived sizzling hot and the serving size was large but taste was lackluster. The steak, in particular was under seasoned and lacked that punch of flavor. The chicken fared better but failed to elevate the rest of the dish. For drinks I tried the "Sangrita" (Half margarita, half sangria) and the (mango) flavored Margarita. The tangy citrus notes of the margarita blended with the fruity richness of the sangria made for a delightful concoction. The mango margarita was also refreshing. Naturally sweet but well balanced, not too sugary, not too tart. Think mango nectar with a grown-up twist. The libations here were the standout feature of my dining experience but I would definitely return to try something else. read more

Got the chorizo tacos, which were ok. They were a bit bland, they were relying on the flavor of the chorizo and felt like nothing else was seasoned. It's overpriced for what you're getting, especially with all the other restaurants in the area (within walking distance) that can give you a better experience at the same price. I really had to think if I wanted to write a review or not but everyone I spoke to said I should. Let me preface this by saying I am from Texas and really wanted some Tex-Mex. This was not it. It started off with their chips and salsa. The salsa was watered down. It was like they took picante and added a water. Granted, I would have rather had watered down picante than what they served me. It was bland. We ordered queso and guess what? That, too, was watered down. It didn't thicken up til 30 mins in. We ordered margaritas and it had a weird after taste, not sure if it was the tequila or the ice. I had their mole chicken enchiladas special and it was not like any mole I've had. It had some lime taste to it. My boyfriend got their Mexican burrito and it was subpar. Their Mexican rice was a weird texture. I'm used to fluffy and flavorful and this was like a hard beady texture. I came here with a friend for dinner on a nice day and loved the outdoor patio seating option. The service was good and friendly but in terms of the food, it was average in my opinion. I ordered the fish tacos and my friend got the Tex-Mex tacos. I'm a huge fan of fish tacos in general, but I would not recommend the ones here. The fish was overly seasoned, super salty, and had a weird texture. Unfortunately the dish definitely looked better than it tasted. My friend enjoyed her Tex-Mex tacos though. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good. The salsa was a bit too watery, but I still enjoyed eating it. After a long day selling clothing at the Dulles Expo Center we were starving. We saw that this place had great reviews via Yelp and so we gave it a try. The staff was friendly, we were seated immediately. It was not too busy, the decor was visually pleasing to the eye. The menu has tons of options. Appetizers, entrees, combo meals, desserts and an array of alcoholic beverages. They give you chips and salad to get you started. We had nachos and steak/chicken fajitas. The nachos were flavorful covered in beans, jalapeños, grilled chicken and cheese. The chicken/steak fajitas were paired with peppers and onions and served with 3 warm tortillas, beans and rice. Passed by Pueblos whenever I was in the shopping center and thought I'd give it a try. I asked for patio seating and they had tables available, but kept saying they couldn't accommodate 5 people at the ones that were open. I couldn't really understand why, but they ended up seating us outside of their patio so we settled on that. The chips and salsa were good, but the salsa was a bit watery. The guacamole was just meh. As for the rest of the food, it was just okay. I'm not sure I'd ever eat here again as there are much better options for Mexican food. read more

Wasn't sure what to expect, they didn't have the best reviews. But I loved my meal. I got the Mexican burrito with steak and I asked for them to add jalapenos. The steak was tender, the vegetables are chopped nice and thin, there was so much good flavor. The sopapillas came with ice cream, I didn't look at the menu so I don't know what flavor ice cream it was, but I would have loved more of the ice cream. I've been here several times, and I always order the Tex mex pollo with shrimp instead of chicken. There is usually a $7 up charge, which I don't mind paying. However, I decided to come in today and I was unable to order this. I then tried to order the camarones al Diablo and requested shrimp that were not shell on (offered to pay more). I was also told I couldn't modify this entree either. They have other shrimp entrees that don't include shell on shrimp so I don't see the issue. Service is good, ambiance is good. I visited here on a weekday for lunch and can say I was impressed. Pueblos is new, so it still has that feel. (Almost like a new car smell, you know?) There's plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. They have a number of lunch specials that are a great deal (anywhere between $10-14 for an entree). Upon being seated, complimentary chips and salsa are served. The chips are nice and thin and the pico had that house made taste. I had the flautas lunch special, which consists of two lightly fried flour tortillas. I had the chicken version but beef is also an option. The flautas are served with yellow rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, and a healthy scoop of house made guacamole. Delicious. Definitely a lot of food for lunch. On top of the food being good, the service was superb and the place was VERY clean, which I certainly appreciate, especially during COVID. I'll certainly be back at some point. read more

We've had the tamales, queso, all the tacos (Tex-mex and shrimp are the favs), carnitas chimichangas, seafood enchiladas, and fajitas! I have an F&B background, so my wife and I are picky and always employ a "3 strikes and you're out" policy. We have eaten here around 50 visits so far, and no strikes exist! This is the most consistently wonderful Tex-Mex restaurant we have ever found. The enchiladas are the finest I have eaten, and the fajitas are excellent, but even the side items demand mention. The rice is always moist and flavorful, with fresh peas and carrot cubes. The refried beans are served in a small tortilla bowl with some shredded cheese, and are so addictive they could be eaten as an appetizer. The staff is friendly, the margaritas are generous and freshly shaken, the decor is clean and inviting, the prices are very reasonable. The chips and salsa are also excellent, what more do you need? I hate to give away a local secret but these fine folks deserve business! TLDR: They rock. Go there and spend money. read more
