Even though the restaurant opened more than a year ago, I finally got the chance to try it out. Great service and I love the friendly and caring staff. The mango marg was huge and delicious. I got BBQ ribs, steak, and chicken fajitas. The chicken was a little bit on the dry side, but overall, it was still a great dish. I definitely will be back to try out other dishes.

Los Carnales Bar and Grill is a must-visit for amazing Mexican food and strong, delicious drinks! Tried the passion fruit margarita and strawberry-lime margarita. Both were perfectly balanced and potent. Not sure which I liked more. The chicken, beef, and chorizo fajitas were flavorful and tender, while the chips in the queso dip were light and airy--totally different from the crispy chips and salsa, which were also great. The standout dish? Easily the chilaquiles! It was absolutely amazing! Rich, flavorful, with the perfect mix of crunch and creaminess from the egg. Portions were huge, and the staff was fantastic. Can't wait to return!

We so badly need a solid, good Mexican restaurant in western NOVA. Los Carnales has the potential to be that spot. The service and interior prevent me from giving less than 3 stars and the food prevents me from giving it 5 stars. We all had burritos or chimichangas. The pulled chicken is solid but I think they tried to simmer it in a tinga-like sauce, but it was too salty and wet for a burrito. The flavor of the Mexican rice was diluted by the frozen carrots and peas. I would suggest get rid of the peas and carrots and consider putting the rice in the burrito with better seasoning, onions and peppers. The refried beans were homemade but the flavor was very lacking. The plates were plentiful and the prices are fair, but the flavor has to deliver! I will gladly come back again and again if the chefs can tweak the flavor. I am rooting for you!

Went for a little date night on a Friday evening and it was pretty slow inside. The service was great- but everything was a little overpriced. We ordered the guacamole because the salsa wasn't too great. But little did we know the guacamole was $27!! We paid around $70 just for an appetizer and 1 drink each. Did not expect that!! I will probably return for the drinks because they were pretty good and it is hard to come across a decent margarita in the area.

AMAZING PLACE TO CELEBRATE Your loved ones special occasions. Here we are for my Queens Birthday, they also welcome our furry love ones.

Absolutely everything, no complains what so ever. Family oriented place, with a welcoming environment. Great drinks and food! One of the best parts, our furry friends are welcome as well. Oh yes, and you can also enjoy FOOTBALL ON SUNDAYS

Came here for a team lunch and the place was pretty empty. We were greeted and taken to our table. Waiter brought out chips and salsa and our drinks. So when I placed my order, he asked me how I wanted it cooked. I thought it was very very odd since it was a pork dish. Maybe he was confusing it for a steak dish. It came out COVERED in onions. The queso was a bit salty and gave me velveeta vibes. Overall, the food was decent, but not the best.

My family visited Los Carnales Tex Mex Grill last night and we had a good experience. The service was excellent and our waiter was helpful with making suggestions. I ordered the beef chimichanga, my husband ordered the masita de puerco and our kids ordered a kids chicken burrito and cheese quesadillas. Overall, I thought the food was tasty. The pork was a little salty though. I really enjoyed the chimichanga. The meat was a short rib rather than ground beef, which is what I was expecting. It was very flavorful. I did feel that the chips seemed from a bag rather than homemade, I liked this restaurant and I would come back again.

**TO GO Review** 5/5 - Will Repeat, found my favorite Tex mex in Chantilly area. Call it flavor town. Containers were perfect for takeout and the food held up well. Chips, light and airy Guacamole, fresh/flavorful Tacos Al carbon Steak, must get. Shrimp Fajita, juicy and full of flavor Papusa+mix Chicken Tamale, not dry. I prefer drier ones but still full of flavor

That combo is rare and I refuse to take it for granted. The food is just incredible across the board. And I mean ALL of it. I have yet to order something that didn't completely deliver. The flavors are bold, authentic, and made with what clearly feels like actual care and love going into every dish. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. And the prices? Beyond reasonable. You are getting so much food and flavor for what you pay -- it never feels like a splurge even when you go all out on the order. I find myself coming back any chance I get and honestly the hardest part of the visit is just deciding what to get because everything is that good. It's become one of those non-negotiable spots for me -- the kind of place I'll drive for and never think twice about. If you're in the Manassas area and you haven't been to La Jarochita yet, fix that immediately. You will not regret it, you will not leave hungry, and your wallet will thank you.

We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

I came here during a visit to Fairfax and decided to see what was happening in here while visiting nearby Barnes & Noble. Nice clean spot with a bar and monitors. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the spicy mushroom, taco Bamba (skirt steak), and chicken (Peruvian). My biggest mistake was eating the spicy mushroom first. It was so hot, I could barely eat the other two. For my taste, I didn't enjoy any of the three. They just don't taste like Mexican tacos, and I guess that's the whole point. I guess I should be impressed by the variety of ingredients, but a good taco is a good taco. Sometimes a simple hamburger just beats a steak. Other diners looked happy and content, so I'm sure this place has their following. This is a strip mall with solid parking, retail stores, and other places to eat. I wouldn't call this a destination spot, with exception for the book store, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, and Capital Grille. The main section of the parking lot was quite full and all the stores along the mall appear to track solid business. I was hoping to sit down and eat at the bar, but it was empty with no good games on TV when I visited, so I ordered takeout, which took about 12 minutes to prepare. I wish this place the best.
