Odd location but great food! Can't really go wrong with anything on their menu, if they haven't run out of it. I had a carne asada burrito. The unfortunate downside of burritos is that the fillings aren't distributed evenly, and I don't think I had any carne asada in there for the first 1/3. There was plenty at the bottom though and it was juicy and tender. I had been before and gotten pork belly tacos and chicken birria tacos. These things are messy but worth it. The pork belly is AMAZING. Not dry at all and you can taste the Koren flavor. I wasn't a fan of the birria dip itself but the taco was decent. You can place your order and then go shopping, they will give you a buzzer that works throughout the store. Note that you have to bring your own drink or purchase a bottle/can from them. My brother and I haven't been in the Manassas area quite some time so we visit this place and it's in a small strip mall, just three blocks away from Hmart and Home Depot. As you walked in, it has a beautiful mural on the left, a simple menu which you order at the cashier desk and every items is made to order. I order 4 items: 1) crispy jumbo shrimp taco 2) chicken birria 3) soy sauce ribeye taco 4) Spanish rice. All tacos are made with flour tortillas and filled with generous portions. The crispy shrimp stuffed with mozzarella, pineapple jalapeños slaw and wasabi aioli was so flavorful, I couldn't just take one or two bites. The chicken birria, the taco was so delicious I didn't even need to dunk it. But when I did, the consommé fell short. It was bland and all I taste was water and oil. My brother and I both agree that the soy sauce ribeye taco was perfectly season and taste exactly like bulgogi. It was stuffed with mozzarella, kimchi slaw, scallions and spicy cream sauce. But we wish the mixture was throughout the taco instead of serving as the topping. The birria ramen served with beef (your choice in meats), diced onions, cilantro, sweet corn, lime and consommé. I was actually more impressed with the supermarkets wide variety of snacks and food than the food from Chinoz. I got the pork belly quesadilla a bulgogi taco and white rice with a side of beans. I love the concept, but the quesadilla was sloppy. Although it did have a generous amount of pork belly although it was sweet. I'm all for sweet and savory but it just did mix well with the other ingredients. It gave it an unusual taste and pork belly kept falling out. The bulgolgi taco was actually really good and saved this review. It was a perfect blend of flavoring with salsa melted cheese kimchi and so on. I definitely want to give it another try and see if a bulgogi quesadilla would change my opinion. The rice was very bland I could Make better rice at home in a rice cooker. The beans tasted straight from a can. But I'm sure most places use their beans from cans but I don't usually notice. I also didn't t quite enjoy the Pork belly taco because i think they added too much sauce so the sauce/marinade was very strong & over powering & i couldn't quite taste the other ingredients, & the pork belly used is thin sliced chopped semi crispy pieces. With less sauce this may be a hit. - All in all I love the concept of their tacos... it's different because they are sizzled crispy & cheesy. I believe maybe including the sauces/marinades on the side instead of ontop to give an option per taste may do them more justice. I think the chicken was little better than the beef birria. I do like that they press the tacos on the grill so everything melts together like a quesadilla... I believe the burritos are the same way. I first learned of this amazing little place when it came up in my Yelp feed of recommended new places to try. I have been to this place at least a dozen times since I first learned of it and I can't say enough good things about the food and their service. You wouldn't think much walking in because it's kind of small with a few tables and a counter to place your order but this small little place is packed with the power of flavor! I literally struggle every time I eat here because I can never make up my mind as to which tacos I wanna order because I like too many to eat at one time. I usually always get at least one crispy shrimp and carne asada (beef) taco...that's a given. But then, I always order one more taco that has to be different so I can eventually try everything. So far I have tried the following: all of the tacos (the only one I was not crazy about was the spicy pork belly...all of the others are just incredibly flavorful and amazing!), chicken and beef birria ramen (both are delicious and are served piping hot with plenty of ramen noodles, and I love that the consume has a little spicy kick to it), carne asada (beef) quesadilla, carne asada (beef) nachos, french fries, and a few of their flavored jarritos bottled drinks.
