Unexpected yummy food inside a grocery food court. Fast service at the kiosk. Open seating for the general food court. Now they have multiple locations besides this one.
Hands down one of the best tacos I've had in NOVA. The lines are long and the staff don't seem like they are in a rush to ring everyone up so it goes slow .... Also, they run out of meat fast on weekends ... beef birria was sold out by around 12:30pm ish ? And chicken was out by 1:30pm ish .. they put up a sign saying they were going to close and re-open at 3pm (I'm assuming for the staff to take a lunch break, as well as refill on meat). The seating was limited as the restaurant is located on the food court inside a grocery store. Beef birria tacos and carne asada tacos were my favorite. We also got the nachos but they weren't as good as the tacos
What an amazing find!!! It's inside the Oh! Grocery mart. I just have to warn you, if you like light vegetable filled tacos like in San Diego... this isn't it! But if you love consume dripping rich deep flavored tacos filled with meat and cheese Birria tacos... this is your new heaven! For me even better than the Birria was the carne asada and my personal favorite... the fried fish tacos!!! And you MUST get the Birria ramen to dip all the tacos in!!! It is absolutely mouth watering amazing! I don't think I had one bad thing at this place. I'm afraid of blowing it up... but as a foodie... I must let other foodies know... come and bring your favorite friends and come ready to walk away overwhelmed!
Taco Chinoz is located inside Oh! Market International Food, as one of the 2 eateries in their food court (the last time we were there, the third business closed). The menu offers fusion tacos, burritos, quesadillas, loaded fries, nachos, and drinks. We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +Beef Birria - mozzarella and chopped onions in a flour tortilla, with a side of guajillo consommé +Carne Asada - cheddar mozzarella blend, pico de gallo, and jalapeno crème in a flour tortilla +Spicy Pork Belly - mozzarella, kimchi slaw, scallions, and garlic aioli in a flour tortilla +Sweet Soy Sliced Ribeye - mozzarella, kimchi slaw, scallions, and spicy aioli in a flour tortilla +Crispy Shrimp - jumbo shrimp, mozzarella, pineapple jalapeno slaw, and wasabi aioli +Crispy Fish - tempura tilapia, cheddar mozzarella blend, pineapple jalapeno slaw, and kewpie mayo +one of their specials of the day, the elote in a cup If you're a melty cheesy lover, Taco Chinoz has tacos for you - imagine quesotacos, but literally overwhelmingly filled with thick melty shredded cheese. I think out of all the tacos, the Crispy Shrimp tasted the best, as there were generously-sized fresh shrimp in there; definitely had a kick from the wasabi aioli, though The elote was not good - it was just super cold, way too much mayo, and there were finely-ground Hot Cheetos on top that were super soggy from the mayonnaise. Staff are super friendly and kind, and there are a few tables in the food court. +super cheesy quesotacos-style +friendly & kind staff +located inside the Oh! Market +plenty of parking in the plaza lot
We were randomly in Manassas and wanted some good food so Yelp came thru in the clutch. Taco Chinoz is located inside the international market. We got 2 beef birria tacos, 1 Carne Asada, 1 Pulled Chicken, 1 Fish Taco & Spicy Pork. The Carne Asada & Fish taco were easily my favorites! The fish was so fresh and the carne was so tender! If you go I would easily recommend those two! I don't eat pork but was told it was good. The birria was okay but not the best I've had. follow for food adventures @melrosemunchies
TL;DR: Inside of the Oh! Market. Not traditional tacos. Tasty and large, but VERY heavy. Finally got to the try this place after hearing good things about the fish tacos. Order at a kiosk and sit at a table in the "food court" inside the market, and they give you a buzzer Overall, the tacos had a little too much cheese for my liking, so might ask for little or no cheese next time. The taco shells are griddled on the pan, so the shells are crispy. FOOD: ~Beef Birria Taco (3/5): Lots of filling, and decent flavor of the beef. Consommé left us wanting. ~Spicy Pork Belly (4/5): marinade on the pork was really good ~Crispy Shrimp Taco (3/5): large shrimp and fried well ~Crispy Fish (3/5): Wish the fish was a little crispier, but flavor was good. Might be better with less cheese. Will try again. ~The Chinoz Loaded Fries (2/5): Fries were not seasoned and not fried well. There was a decent amount of toppings, but the garlic aioli was SO overpowering. I got sick of it pretty quickly, and made me feel sick anytime I tasted/smelled it. Too heavy for me Overall, might give it another try one day.
Finally got to give this place a try, located inside the Oh International grocery store, it's only 1 of 2 "food" stalls there. I got me a birira taco and a birria ramen to go. The taco, like many others mentioned, it's too cheesy, I ordered it to go and by the time I got home it was soggy. I had to throw it on the stove to heat it up. The shell came out crunchy and cheesy so if you're into that, this is the taco for you. The ramen was tasty, a little salty and I feel like it's missing something but over all, it's not bad. Glad I got to give it a try!
This place is a sleeper! You wouldn't know it, but some of the best tacos in the DMV are lying in wait inside this international supermarket. Taco Chinoz Wowed us with their humongous and crispy tacos. Some say it looks like Taco Bell on steroids. Don't worry, it tastes ten times better than Taco Bell. The Carne asada and Shrimp tacos would be our go-to. They also have Birria tacos and Birria ramen for all you Birria addicts out there. Be on the look out for this place because they are about to blow up.
MANASSAS, VA / LATIN-ASIAN FUSION / MON 07-05-21 / LUNCH TAKE-OUT +They gave two types of consommé with our birria tacos. +The pork belly fusion taco was interesting. Lots of flavor! +The portions are huge; lots of meat/protein. They do not skimp on the filling. -They didn't really have a lot of sauces to offer; would love to see various salsas to go with the entrees. -They're located inside of Oh! International Grocery Mart in Manassas. This is going to make it tough to do business because the area has so many Latino cuisine establishments. -The burrito had way too much sour cream. -No loyalty rewards program, mobile app for ordering/payment, or online menu. -Pricing is a little high compared to places like La Jarochita, La China Poblana Taqueria, El Rulas Tacos, etc. If you're doing some grocery shopping and you're in a pinch to grab lunch, check them out!
Wow, this is definitely a well kept secret that will blow up once others try them! I would have never guessed a supermarket would have a Taco spot that's as delicious as Taco Chinoz. They have wonderful fusion asian/mexican tacos that will have your taste buds excited and wanting more. It's inside the Oh! Supermarket food court near Lowe's with plenty of parking, right off 66. When I looked at the menu, I thought the tacos were a little pricey but I was definitely wrong. It's not your normal size tortillas (think Bar Taco or just the regular size tortillas you get at an authentic mexican spot). I ended up getting 3 for myself, thinking they were small and I ended up only finishing 1. Keep that in mind when ordering. Prices definitely reflect the size and the amount of meat you get. -Birria tacos- delicious meat, my only complaint is the consommé was a little watery for me, I like it when it's a little thicker. -Spicy pork belly- this was probably my favorite. The pork belly had so much flavor, paired with the crunchiness from the kimchi slaw and aioli. A must try. -Sweet soy ribeye- close 2nd favorite. This also comes with the kimichi slaw and aioli, the ribeye was flavorful and tasty. -Jefe loaded fries- fries were perfectly crispy with some carne on top, mixed with some jalapeno creme, cheese sauce and guac. So good! -Cheese quesadilla- cheese and tortilla ratio was perfect. I 1000% would recommend this place if you like fusion food! They did a great job with the flavors and the portions are quite large.
Was on my way home from work and decided to go here to pick up food for my and my boyfriend! We ordered 4 things: beef birria burrito, beef birria quesadilla, 2 carne asada tacos, and the Jefe loaded fries. As I was waiting, I was able to shop for snacks and walk around the store for awhile. Packaging: All the food was in one plastic bag. I felt scared to carry it cause I was scared the bag would break! It would have been better to maybe split the food into 2 bags. The drive back to my place was okay since I used the seatbelt to hold it in place. Food: My quesadilla was at the bottom of the bag so it was smushed by all the weight of the other food so I feel like I could have enjoyed it more the burrito was HUGE!!! it felt like 5 pounds. I really really liked the carne asada taco and my bf lovedddd the loaded fries. We could not finish it at all - but that's okay cause yay leftovers for another day!
Excellent shrimp and beef Taco Carne Asada. Each tacos is roughly $5 Definitely try these if you want a good taco!!! Don't even have to shop at the grocery store to try these. Just come in and try the tacos. You will Not regret it

Located inside the grocery store so there's small seating. The worker was very kind to us as we ordered and around 5pm on a Monday they were sold out of a few taco flavors. I thought the one taco per order might be small so we ordered a lot but actually the serving sizes for everything is huge!! Sweet soy sliced rib eye - 4/5 packed with soft yummy meat that's not overwhelmed in the sauce. So many veggies that made this a pretty refreshing taco! Beef birria ramen - 4/5 the consume broth seems to be mixed with the ramen powder since it was much more flavorful and delicious than the regular consume that comes with the birria tacos and quesadilla! Eggs were cooked nicely, fully cooked but bouncy still. Beef pieces were flavorful and slightly dry (most places are much drier in the soups) and was a super yummy combination with the noodles Beef birria quesadilla- 4/5 super packed with nice mozzarella cheese and so much meat! Heavy but so delicious. Consume is kinda watery. Guac seems fresh! Chicken birria - 3.5/5 very very yummy, meaty and cheesy! Consume same as quesadilla read more
Odd location but great food! Can't really go wrong with anything on their menu, if they haven't run out of it. I had a carne asada burrito. The unfortunate downside of burritos is that the fillings aren't distributed evenly, and I don't think I had any carne asada in there for the first 1/3. There was plenty at the bottom though and it was juicy and tender. I had been before and gotten pork belly tacos and chicken birria tacos. These things are messy but worth it. The pork belly is AMAZING. Not dry at all and you can taste the Koren flavor. I wasn't a fan of the birria dip itself but the taco was decent. You can place your order and then go shopping, they will give you a buzzer that works throughout the store. Note that you have to bring your own drink or purchase a bottle/can from them. Perfect spot to go to when shopping at Oh Market and I will certainly be back! read more

My brother and I haven't been in the Manassas area quite some time so we visit this place and it's in a small strip mall, just three blocks away from Hmart and Home Depot. As you walked in, it has a beautiful mural on the left, a simple menu which you order at the cashier desk and every items is made to order. They have a variety of selections from tacos, burritos, quesadillas, extra sides, beverages, nachos and loaded fries. My brother order 2 items: 1) soy sauce ribeye taco and 2) birria ramen. I order 4 items: 1) crispy jumbo shrimp taco 2) chicken birria 3) soy sauce ribeye taco 4) Spanish rice. All tacos are made with flour tortillas and filled with generous portions. The crispy shrimp stuffed with mozzarella, pineapple jalapeños slaw and wasabi aioli was so flavorful, I couldn't just take one or two bites. The chicken birria, the taco was so delicious I didn't even need to dunk it. But when I did, the consommé fell short. It was bland and all I taste was water and oil. My brother and I both agree that the soy sauce ribeye taco was perfectly season and taste exactly like bulgogi. It was stuffed with mozzarella, kimchi slaw, scallions and spicy cream sauce. But we wish the mixture was throughout the taco instead of serving as the topping. The birria ramen served with beef (your choice in meats), diced onions, cilantro, sweet corn, lime and consommé. This bowl was filled with much aromatic and your palate will thank you. The Spanish rice was fluffy but not much flavor. The restaurant is small but very clean, cozy and all staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely make a return visit. read more
I was in the Area and was looking for something to eat and found Taco Chinoz on maps. when I pulled up i was a bit confused, till i realized it was inside the world supermarket. I was actually more impressed with the supermarkets wide variety of snacks and food than the food from Chinoz. I got the pork belly quesadilla a bulgogi taco and white rice with a side of beans. I love the concept, but the quesadilla was sloppy. Although it did have a generous amount of pork belly although it was sweet. I'm all for sweet and savory but it just did mix well with the other ingredients. It gave it an unusual taste and pork belly kept falling out. The bulgolgi taco was actually really good and saved this review. It was a perfect blend of flavoring with salsa melted cheese kimchi and so on. I definitely want to give it another try and see if a bulgogi quesadilla would change my opinion. The rice was very bland I could Make better rice at home in a rice cooker. The beans tasted straight from a can. But I'm sure most places use their beans from cans but I don't usually notice. Service was good, it took about 15 minutes but i didn't mind I walked around the store and picked out snacks for later which I enjoyed. Very minimal seating and the supermarket gave off a warehouse like feeling. But Ii didn't mind that as well. I'll definitely be back to give it another try read more

I will admit, i was influenced by instagram...and was disappointed. The food wasn't disgusting but it was certainly nothing to rave over. The nachos were cold - looked like they slapped a bunch of stuff on it from the fridge and stuck it under a heat lamp for 2 seconds. The processed cheese was a no from me. The pork belly taco was ok, definitely something different, very greasy. Hubs didnt really like his carne asada quesadilla either. He said the meat was overcooked and the aioli dripping out of it was quite messy. Personally, i wouldnt bother returning. Their wall mural is cool though. read more

Taco chinos was delicious!!! Really the Birria Ramen did it for me... it's probably the BEST I've had so far. The consumé was soooo sooo tasty and flavorful. They also boiled the noodles in the consumé, and omg that made even just eating the noodles alone so good. i love how they delivered the consomé separately from the noodles. Which prevents/prevented the noodles from getting soggy during delivery. The birria taco was amazing, i noticed the broth for the tacos is different from the ramen broth. As it's much lighter in flavor... but Still delicious. The birria Fries & Burrito we're delicious too!! Delivery was pretty fast, about 35 minutes. The prices are worth it because the portions are great & they do not skimp on toppings/fillings. The tacos are bigger than average too. Cons (for me): I didn't take a big liking to the Sweet soy sliced ribeye taco as it was too sweet & the sweetness didn't quite mix well with the other flavors... for me. Still good though. I also didn't t quite enjoy the Pork belly taco because i think they added too much sauce so the sauce/marinade was very strong & over powering & i couldn't quite taste the other ingredients, & the pork belly used is thin sliced chopped semi crispy pieces. With less sauce this may be a hit. - All in all I love the concept of their tacos... it's different because they are sizzled crispy & cheesy. I believe maybe including the sauces/marinades on the side instead of ontop to give an option per taste may do them more justice. The birria Ramen is what made this a 4star otherwise I would say 3.5 ish Can't wait for more Birriaaa!!! read more

Taco Chinoz is found within Oh! Market and Oh! It is good! The tacos are expensive but worth it for their portion sizes. I have been here a couple of times. I have tried their: -Birria Ramen - Not my favorite. I was never a big fan of consomme to begin with though. -Carne Asada Taco - Fantastic! -Crispy Shrimp Taco- The shrimp is HUGE and has been my favorite taco so far. -Crispy Fish Taco - Also very good! -The Coreano Fries - The portion size is massive and could feed four people by itself. I really enjoyed these fries but I did not have a stomach large enough for all of them haha. read more
Birria quesadilla and tacos are good. They are the best in the area and are worth trying them. The place is inside an Asian supermarket and there are 3 tables. As stated by the other reviews, this is right in the Oh Market in Manassas off of 66. There are a few chairs & tables inside the mini food court area. I have been eyeing their menu for a while and never had the chance to try it out. I finally got to and wow I was not disappointed! The food came out in a good amount of time & tasted amazing. I wanted to try a bit of everything so I ordered the birria taco, ribeye taco, & the Jefe (carne asada) fries. The birria taco was delicious & I enjoyed the consomme that came with it. I got the beef option, but they also have the chicken option which I hadn't seen before! My taco was cheesy & full of beef. The sweet soy ribeye taco was a Korean style ribeye, which included some kimchi slaw - very tasty! The Jefe was everything I wanted - loaded with carne asada, fries, Jalapeno creme, cheese, and more! The flavors blended so well together & they did not hold back on any of the toppings. It is a bit pricey, but it became two meals for me - so worth it! I tried my friend's the Chinoz - which is the spicy pork belly fries as well. This was also very very delicious. It was loaded with toppings and had the Korean kick that you'd want when having the spicy pork belly. You can't go wrong with ordering anything from this place! The food is fresh & did not disappoint. I'm already planning my next trip back. read more

This place is located inside the supermarket in case you can't find it! And it is delicious! Agree with other reviews that it isn't easily known due to its location. Definitely worth a try. The tacos are all delicious and tons of amazing cheese and grilled to perfection. They also have the infamous birria tacos that everyone wants nowadays. A few different taco options to choose from and they also have birria ramen which I can't really find in this area! Haven't had the ramen yet but will try it out eventually. Very very fulfilling and well worth it for the price. read more
When you're in the mood for a meal, here is the place to go for a quick fix of taco bliss. This place seemed to have the greatest Mexican/Latin food in Manassas. The carne asada tacos are outstanding. Keep in mind, however, that the business is located in Oh! Market, an international food market conveniently located near Home Depot. The prices are somewhat reasonable; however, I'd prefer more taco with less meat than just one taco for almost $6. For a store inside a grocery store, process seems to be on the higher end. read more

I first learned of this amazing little place when it came up in my Yelp feed of recommended new places to try. I have been to this place at least a dozen times since I first learned of it and I can't say enough good things about the food and their service. You wouldn't think much walking in because it's kind of small with a few tables and a counter to place your order but this small little place is packed with the power of flavor! I literally struggle every time I eat here because I can never make up my mind as to which tacos I wanna order because I like too many to eat at one time. I usually always get at least one crispy shrimp and carne asada (beef) taco...that's a given. But then, I always order one more taco that has to be different so I can eventually try everything. So far I have tried the following: all of the tacos (the only one I was not crazy about was the spicy pork belly...all of the others are just incredibly flavorful and amazing!), chicken and beef birria ramen (both are delicious and are served piping hot with plenty of ramen noodles, and I love that the consume has a little spicy kick to it), carne asada (beef) quesadilla, carne asada (beef) nachos, french fries, and a few of their flavored jarritos bottled drinks. Also, I absolutely love their guacamole; it's perfectly seasoned and goes great with their chips! If you haven't been there and you love tacos...it's worth it, I promise! This is definitely my top taco place in Manassas. Thank you to all the ladies that work back in the kitchen that make all this food...making tacos is an art and you do it so damn well! read more
