    Al pastor taco

We came in on a Wednesday night and it was pretty quiet. Walking in, you can see the adorable street truck decor/set up! I ordered the pupusas with the pork and cheese; it had just the right amount of pork and cheese, with a good amount of "breading". My favorite was the steak taco; the tortilla was crispier than it looked, and the meat was cooked well! We got our order in about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a nice hole-in-the-wall restaurant to grab a quick bite on a weekday!

This is for the desserts and drinks. I really wanted some good dessert after dinner so I was looking online at some places closeby that had mangonada without going to Manassas. I was excited to try this place as its closeby. Pretty disappointed with my experience. Not sure why they do their mangonadas this way or if it was a new person doing it but it was bad. 99% of the mangonadas I've had is a mango smoothie on the bottom and mangos on top OR mango smoothie with some chunks of mangos in it and tajin and chamoy mixed on top. Well here they mixed the mango, ice, tajin and chamoy all together. It wasn't even blended well, there was some chunks of ice throughout the whole drink and I couldn't swallow it so I had to sit there and sift through the drink. They kinda just threw all the tajin and chamoy in without looking and it was overbearing. Just not a good drink. My husband and I had to throw it away. The tres leches was ok, it came in a cup with layers which was different. The platanos empanada was just ok as well, not as crispy as it should have been. Overall, I'd try again to get the tacos and other food but not for the desserts.

The order counter is design as their lunch truck, pretty cool

The menu variety was good but the customer service was not that friendly. I love the look of the place (food truck vibe indoors) and I like how there were many country's represented on the menu. The yuca was not as good as I have had at other restaurants and the chicken milanesa was just ok. I would recommend trying a taco. They have a few options to try.

This pollo abraso was perfection. Got a half chick with the two sides. Both sides were a salad and the salads they gave were perfect! The language barrier was a bit of a disappointment but they adjusted and we got an amazing meal!!! Es muy importante to speak Spanish! Gracias por todo! Best chicken in the Sterling area!

The Indoor decor is awesome! Great atmosphere.

Food sucked so bad and was cold. The chicken was dry and had no flavor. It seemed like I was eating a rubber dog toy.

For many of my friends, when we visit this area, Crooked Run is now a destination because of the tacos (as well as the beer). I do find them delicious and nicely spiced. For me, their price is slightly below average among places I visit, so I find them to be a good deal, especially since they come in slightly larger tortillas - and double layered at that. Their lamb tacos - now 2 styles - are incredibly popular among my group, but I've never had a bad taco there. But the tacos are very messy. Perhaps they have a little too much - even double layered, some of the tacos fall apart as I eat them. Also their method of delivery is a little inconsistent. Two of us ordered two tacos each at the same time. One got his on a tray, I got mine in a little cardboard holder. Maybe they have a limited number of trays? No matter, it's not how they're presented, it's how they taste. And for that, I say "Si Senor!"

They were made in about 7 minutes and were all very good tacos with the super Ramon being my favorite. I loved the cheese flour tortilla and the carne asada/chorizo combo. It was very savory and all meshed quite well together. The other tacos were also quite good. For $6 ea they were on the more expensive side but did fill me up. Overall a solid spot to get tacos that I would gladly come back to. Food(50%): 8.3 Staff/service(25%): 6.5 Value(25%): 6.0 Overall: 7.3/10

I HAD TO GO TRY IT! Upon entering I was immediately greeted and given a moment to review the menu on the wall. The cashier was super friendly and helpful and answered all the questions I had. I decided to go with a small order of chips and queso and the shrimp fajita avocado salad. I was given my chips and salsa and given a buzzer which would identify me when my salad was ready. In the meantime I visited the salsa and accompaniment bar where there were tons of fresh salsa and veggie options. The chips and queso were BOMB! My salad was ready in about 10 minutes and the cashier brought it to my table which was super nice. That salad seriously looked and tasted like something that should and would be in a fine dining Mexican restaurant ... the shrimp were plentiful and plump and tasted as though they were truly seared on a fajita flat top along with the peppers and onions. It came along w a side of ranch and for this ranch lover to not have even used the ranch tells you just how flavorful this salad was! Everyone dining in the restaurant was so so so into their meals that I had to giggle because I was too and we all had not one care in the world. Although the restaurant itself is smaller and casual it truly gives off big dog legit Mexican fine dining! I will absolutely be back and / or ordering from Door Dash!

I waited in line to place my order and it took a bit for one family to order but after a few minutes I was in front. Their menu didn't explicitly seem to have the birria tacos listed but I had seen that they were available every Tuesday on their website and they had an article printed about the birria tacos so I asked. The cashier let me know they serve birria tacos everyday! So I placed my order for two tacos and a tres leches. I grabbed water and sat down, expecting that they'd call out my name, but they actually serve your meals directly to you which was very nice! Someone also came around to bring the hot sauce rack to my table which was very nice, as I was interested in trying these. Everything was delicious. I loved the birria tacos, and the spicy hot sauce added a nice touch without being overwhelmingly spicy. The tres leches cake was brought to me at the end of my meal, and it was sweet and moist! Definitely a place to stop by if you're in the area!

There was an 85 cent uncharge for shrimp and shrimp tacos are one of my favorites (al pastor being another in my top 100). It looked delicious but as I was eating, I realized there were only TWO shrimp in it... and they weren't big either. The Chorizo may have been the blandest (most bland) chorizo I ever had. It had zero redness and tasted like ground beef dusted chorizo spice (I think the Spice Girls kicked her out early, BTW). The chicken taco was decent and what you'd expect. For &17 for 3 tacos and can of Coke Zero, I was disappointed. I should have just gone to Sheetz for their 6 tacos for $6 instead. IYKYK! ;)
