I don't even have a huge appetite, and the amount of food I received was still surprisingly small. The service was also disappointing from the moment I arrived. The restaurant was completely empty, yet no one greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked in. I eventually had to walk over to the bar area myself to ask about my pickup order. The woman working there looked confused that I was even asking and mumbled a response I could barely understand. I figured maybe she was busy, so I waited, but the entire experience became increasingly uncomfortable. I stood there awkwardly for about 10 minutes while the employees talked amongst themselves and kept looking over at me, yet no one updated me on my order or even spoke to me. The worst part was the food itself. The potatoes in the Papa a la Huancaína were cold and partially raw. I literally had to finish cooking them in the microwave at work. The empanada was decent, and the alfajor would have gotten better marks if it weren't for the small hair I found on it, but overall the experience was not worth the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever come back. Revash has better portions, better prices, and overall much better food.

It came with a spicy cheese possibly Monterrey jack, onions, and jalapeño peppers. The portion was just right and enough to fill me up for dinner really. My boyfriend ordered some type of pastry that appeared to be very rich in calories. We both ordered regular Cafe Americanos with leche even though it was late afternoon. Therr was one Server helping everyone in the cafe and I thought she did an awesome job. The cafe is clean and bright and comfortable enough for short stays. In other words, it's not the type of cafe where one would just han out for an extended period of time. Everyone here was very cordial and we had a relaxed time.

It may sound unusual, but it is surprisingly tender and flavorful. It comes in a delicious stew served over stewed potatoes and rice. The steak is tasty, although the cut of meat could be better. It is served with a salad and topped with an egg. The Queperi is essentially beef brisket served with cheesy rice, fried plantains, and yuca. It is a delicious and satisfying plate. If you like hot dogs or sausage, try the Pique Macho. It is a huge plate of sautéed beef and sliced sausage cooked with onions, finished with slightly cooked tomato wedges and topped with jalapeños. The beef and sausage sit over a bed of steak fries, and all of the flavorful juices soak into the fries, giving them an incredible flavor. The downside is that some of the meat is a bit tendonous, but the overall flavor is very good and the dish is definitely worth trying. The Lomo Saltado is another good choice. The flavor is quite good, and the portion is generous. They also have a bakery section with Napoleons and a variety of Bolivian baked goods, including cheese bread. Everything we tried tasted fresh and was pretty good. Overall, there are lots of interesting Bolivian dishes to try here, and the generous portions make it a good place to explore different flavors.

The quarter chicken is a lot bigger than expected- and the yuca is fried perfectly with a golden crisp. My go-to order is the Paella Veracruzana with horchata to drink and it's TO DIE FORRR. I can't find another spot in this area that sells paella for under 55$ so I consider it a steal. Super flavorful and they don't skimp on the seafood. 10/10 recommend Also want to add that the rice isn't dry, theres a nice creamy broth that gathers at the bottom. There are a lot of toppings involved in this like chicken, sausage, calamari, shrimp, peas, scallops, mussels, a big block of creamy cheese, a grilled lime. A little bit of EVERYTHING and its so fire. Truly an underrated gem that I feel more people need to know about and I could eat this every single day. My chosen death row meal

Almost 100% of the customers are Latino; I felt a bit of a misfit being there. Additionally, service was very poor, where the lady who placed our order took forever to take our order, bring the food and give us the check; she also never really checked on us, nor refilled her water. She was on her phone and sitting at the tables. The place def has a vibe - it has hookah, and drink deals for those that want it - but it's extremely loud (where you can't even talk); I literally was texting to communicate with my party. This place has potential but needs work (if they want to reach a bigger audience).

Let me start by saying, I really love this resturant! This is my second time going there, as I went…read morethere last week with friends, and wanted to go again as their menu was extensive! I wanted to wait and give a review after the first time as I hoped it wasn't one of those, ("the first time it was great! The second time...not so much.), let me reassure you that was not the case with Autentico! On my first visit, I had a seafood selection, and it was so fresh and so good! I was also checking out my buddy's chunks of beef that were part of his meal, and wanted that too! He gave me a chunk and it was so tender, juicy and good, I knew on my next visit, I would have to order some form of their steak! The service was spot on, and food order time to table, was exceptional! My next visit came yesterday, and yes I ordered a steak! It was a late Friday afternoon, and even though they were busy with a few large tables of people, service was still outstanding and the food was even better than the first time! If you have read some of my reviews, by the time I think to take pictures, there's not much left to take a picture of! Also, I know some people just take pictures and not much else, and while something can look really good in a photo, you have to dig into it to unearth what's really good about the dish, and everything I have tried at Autentico, was superb! I ordered the NY Strip with fries and instead of the rice that comes with it, I asked if I could substitute veggies for the rice? They said no problem! While the first time I had a couple bottles of their Corona, which was very cold and was also provided with a frosted glass, this time I asked for a Modelo Especial. I was told they had it on tap! Major points, as I love all of Modelo's products especially the stouts! It was just my buddy from work this time and me, and we had such a great meal and the ambiance was awesome! I had joked my first time visiting there while driving in, that there was an Irish resturant right next to it! I mentioned that we should go there after for a couple pints. We never got around to it, as we were too full both times to make it in. But that resturant is in the back of my mind for a future visit! So if you do go to Autentico, you won't be disappointed. It's a great location that's worth the drive, and an exceptional resturant!
