Guys! The food tasted so authentic. This is a hidden gym! They also have a food truck that visits different sites throughout NOVA. I really liked their hibiscus margarita don't need to twist my arm. I had 3 tacos (Birria, chorizo, and beef). It comes with rice and refried beans. Need I say more?! I also tried the burrito and it is a big serving! You pick the sauce you want over it. The service was attentive and very kind. I loved the colors, it reminded me Mexico 100%. I also had the queso dip and it was delicious!! it's located next to the best western.

We visited 7 Moltin for dinner recently as we saw that this place is new. I wasn't even aware what this restaurant serves until I saw the flag outside the restaurant. The place is spacious that it almost looks empty. However, the space is really clean. For food, we ordered Chips and Salsa for appetizer. For entrees, we had Fish Tacos and Fish Filet ala Veracruzana. Both dishes are delicious and the fish tasted fresh. For desserts, we had Churros and Tres Leches Cake. We really enjoyed the food and service was great. It feels like the menu wasn't anything new in the area and somehow needs to find its identity. I wouldn't mind returning again.

Enchiladas Chicken with Poblana, Suiza, and Jarocha Sauce

This location is attached to the Best Western Hotel. Did a to-go order here. Placed the order on Toast App so that was very easy and efficient. Staff member greeted me when I came in and was very friendly. I even asked her to include hot sauce for me, in which she did and had my order out within a few minutes. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, you get to choose three sauces to go on top of it. I got it with Poblana, Jarocha, and Suiza. All three of the sauces were good, however, nothing that stood out to me. The hot sauce helped kick it up a notch. Chicken was shredded and plain, with no seasoning so you definitely need to have it soaked in with the sauce for flavoring. Rice and Beans came with it, in which the rice was very fluffy and the beans was perfectly seasoned. Overall, I enjoyed it for a quick meal but was not overly impressed.

    Burrito Chicken

We had a wonderful experience on our first visit tonight! We had the enchiladas and got to try 3 different sauces for each. My husband got the burrito and two sauces on top. We also ordered the flan de olla. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The owner also came out to ask how the food was, and we had an enjoyable conversation We will come back! Definitely one of the better Mexican spots around imho and their 7 sauce concept is fun/creative

It's not authentic Mexican and expensive for what you get. The ambiance is okay and service was nice but super slow. I am not going back.

We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

That combo is rare and I refuse to take it for granted. The food is just incredible across the board. And I mean ALL of it. I have yet to order something that didn't completely deliver. The flavors are bold, authentic, and made with what clearly feels like actual care and love going into every dish. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. And the prices? Beyond reasonable. You are getting so much food and flavor for what you pay -- it never feels like a splurge even when you go all out on the order. I find myself coming back any chance I get and honestly the hardest part of the visit is just deciding what to get because everything is that good. It's become one of those non-negotiable spots for me -- the kind of place I'll drive for and never think twice about. If you're in the Manassas area and you haven't been to La Jarochita yet, fix that immediately. You will not regret it, you will not leave hungry, and your wallet will thank you.

I had no idea that they offered a small bowl of complementary ceviche, which is actually really good. Like, so good, that I'm going to have to go back just to get that. The queso was also good. It was the standard white queso that I commonly associate with the Midwest because for the longest I couldn't get it on the East Coast, but it's not queso fundido. They offer Coke from a fountain, which is a huge plus. And the salsa was really good. The chips and salsa were free, so they absolutely get bonus points for that. It was a random Saturday evening when I came in, and they were setting up for what looked like live music and a fun night. The service was really good and parking was easy since it's in a plaza. I would highly recommend this place. They were fast and super sweet.

We could say that the seafood was fresh - no funny smells and the food was prepared well. The prices were reasonable. We would love to go back for when we are craving for seafood.

WHAT I ATE - Virginia @ El Garage Restaurant…read moreManassas, VA We stumbled on El Garage Restaurant while shopping around Manassas and are happy with our find! There are tons of Mexican and latino eateries in the Manasas area. Some good, and some great! We think this a great one for great tasting food, affordable prices and authenticity. They have a pretty extensive menu of items. We were curious about the food kept hot in the steam tables, and we were introduced to BARBACOA! We also wanted to try something different and had not had goat or lamb done Mexican style. What a treat! Warm, tender lamb and goat, seasoned perfectly and accompanied with Mexican rice, black beans and fresh, hot tortillas. We'd say the portions of meat were generous, and so good we ate everything! The green chile sauce was spicy, but not terribly so. Watch out for the red sauce, as it may be spicier than most people can tolerate. I'm not normally a fan of Mexican rice, but this rice was very flavorful, with perfectly cooked tender grains that had the rice amount of "stickiness" to keep it on the fork or in the taco. For drinks, the cooling, sweet/tart house made Tamarindo was so good and kind of lemony in flavor. They also have Jarritos brand tamarindo in bottles, but trust me. Fresh made tamarindo is better! El Garage Restaurant is on our list of place to stop for lunch or dinner when we are in this part of Manassas. VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/GfoSv3cZ2pE
