We had Taco Zocalo cater a small gathering for us, and they were great! The tacos were delicious, and the guac was devoured! Everything was easy and well organized, and everyone loved the food. We will definitely use them again! read more

I thought it was just ok. The sizing was quite small, but it did taste good, but I would not call it the best taco I have had. It's a unique mix of street taco and their house made tacos. Not sure if I would get again because its size was incredibly small but the quality was not too bad. I will say the service was great and quick! read more

Taco Zocalo - House made tacos - Mexican Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

This is my lunch go to. Each visit is better than the last. I love the chimichangas with the tinga shredded chicken. The food is so good I even eat the rice and beans (which I normally never do). It's always the same staff and they are so patient and helpful as I read over the menu each time asking random questions and still end up with the chimmis and the chips and salsa are fabulous, the chips are thin and warm while the salsa has flavor with the chopped up veggies. Love it!!! read more

Heard about this place quite a few times and frequently pass by it on the way to Costco. Finally decided to grab some to go. Ordered ahead of time for a designated pick-up time. Birra tacos and burrito surpassed mmy expectation--they were damn delicious! Bye bye District Taco. I had a long run with you, but Taco Zocalo has bested you not only on flavor, but customer service. These people were so friendly, professional (order was fresh, hot, and ready when I arrived on-time), and all around great dispositions (plus, they liked my german shepherd waiting in the car and no, he didn't get even a crumb ) Needless to say I will be back again and again. Great food. Great service. Never disappoints. Quality is excellent. It was quiet when we went for a late work lunch during the week. Food is consistent with their Reston location which I'm more familiar with. Highly recommend! read more

Taco Zocalo - Ordered 3 Tacos! Great portions. Super fresh!! - Mexican Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

Stopped here on a whim while in Chantilly and I'm so glad we did! After reviewing the menu and deciding on what to order, we were able to place the order quickly and easily. The employee was attentive and made sure everything was ordered correctly before finalizing. The downstairs seating area is cozy and the decor really adds to the ambiance. Our food came out quickly and everything looked great! The guacamole was perfect - Just the right amount of everything! The shrimp tacos and chicken quesadilla were delicious, too. Everything tasted so fresh! The sauces provided at the table complemented the food really well, I just wish they were labeled so we knew what they were. We had to taste each one because only the extra spicy was labeled. With that being said, I'll still be back to try more things because we enjoyed every single item this time. This place has officially been added to my go-to list when I'm in Chantilly again. read more

Great food every time. Delicious tacos and enchiladas. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!

I was visiting King Spa and upon leaving wanted to find a place to grab some Mexican food, and this location came up on Yelp. I will say that this location was in the business area of the shopping center, and was a little hard to locate. Upon walking in, the decor was very bright and inviting, even though the restaurant was on the small size. There was a small section to allow you to eat outside, which was nice. You order and pay from a kiosk, which was convenient but not as user friendly as it could have been. I really enjoyed the tacos and the various sauces they offered at the table. I came for the Birria tacos but found out that they are only offered 2 days a week :( I hope that will change soon. Also, they have not obtained their liquor license to offer margaritas, so I would like to go back and visit once they do. read more

Taco Zocalo - Beef tacos - Mexican Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

Lmao! It's so ridiculous how you think the place is authentic! Only thing authentic is the Mexican drinks. I am Mexican and it's a disgrace to my culture. The birria and consome not even real . Mexicans don't work there. Aranian is the owner. Do your self a favor and go next for real food read more

The birria tacos are subpar despite the ratings here and are ONLY SERVED on Tuesdays and Sundays. Not sure why since they aren't that great at all. Very lacking in flavor so I would go somewhere else for these! Seriously, Mex Mart & Deli at the Shell Gas Station serves MUCH BETTER BIRRIA TACOS!!! Strange, I know, but it's the TRUTH!! The BEST THING we ordered from here was the chicken quesadilla, hence the three star rating. If it weren't for that, this place would not have received it. May or may not return since there are MANY more restaurants that serve MUCH better quality Mexican food!! And at a gas station no less!!!! read more

So delicious! My friends and I were hungry after going to the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum near Dulles, and this came up on Yelp. We were a bit concerned when we pulled into what seemed like an industrial park, but once we got inside Taco Zocalo, it was awesome! Cute decor, clean, and with helpful staff. The highlights: Chips and salsa - the chips were perfect. Substantial and salty, and held up to the most delicious salsa. Get the salsa!!! Tacos - I got brisket and barbacoa. The brisket was good, the barbacoa was amazing. Get that one! These are a good size with a pile of toppings (that you can customize). The pico was super fresh, and everything tasted so good! Of the salsas that came alongside, the pineapple salsa was so good! I almost bought more chips just to eat the pineapple salsa. I also liked the red and green salsas - both excellent. Again, just wish I got more chips! I also got a side of refried beans, a hearty portion for the price. These were good but weren't my favorite - a tiny bit too crunchy. I wish I lived closer, because this was a truly delicious spot for lunch. read more

I am soooooo glad that one of my foodie friends recommended this place! I was sad that they offered Birria only in certain days of the week... But I got super lucky and Sunday is one of those days... am I glad that I got to eat the Birria tacos. It can out quick and everything was fresh and hot! The consume was filled with onions, cilantro and pieces of Birria. I love dipping the taco into it but I also drench the taco first... it's messy but glorious! And don't get me started on the sauces! 3 to choose from and each unique in heat and flavors! I absolutely love the combination of the mango and green sauce! Perfect acidity and sweetness with subtle heat! Don't hesitate... they have other locations but glad they opened one near my place! read more

The food and service was great I'm from Woodbridge va i own DJs towing stopped by for some tacos got birria slamming

Great food, fast, good service, always a top 3 for my lunch break. I always get a chicken bowl

Warning: *If you are a vegetarian I DO NOT recommend this place I found this place through tik tok and being a Mexican restaurant, I didn't have a lot of expectations. Reason being is that even though I love Mexican food I haven't found a place that stands out well. I am happy to say that this place is fire. I had the 3-taco platter and got 2 meat options and one veggie. The veggie was not good (It was just too bland even with the sauces) but the other 2 meat tacos were amazing and for the price we paid, I am not mad at all because unlike other place like Taco Bamba and Bar Taco the food portions match's the price. Then we had the dessert and omg was it tasty. I am not a huge fan or Tres Leches in general, but this cake was built different. Not too sweet, very fluffy and I craved it more with every bit. Please try this place out because they know what they are doing. read more

Pro: - inside was spacious and clean. - friendly staff. - hot sauces were good and had the right amount of spice - menu options for different types of taco meat Cons: - wished the elote was grilled. I think the corn was boiled because it lacked the grilled/charred flavor. Overall: This place was good but it's not the place I'd go to over and over again. Yes, if I'm craving a taco and am nearby I'll stop in. read more

Coming from California, I missed this kind of food that Taco Zocalo has to offer. Taste and everything was there. Especially the friendliness! read more

I walked in, and there was only one other customer there who had already ordered their food. I was not graded when I came in the employee who took my order act like he did not wanna be there. They did not ask me whether I wanted my order for there or to go because I didn't wanna eat there because I was having a moment to just relax before I got to traffic, they packed my order up, brought it to me. It says on the table and to go box even though I wanted to eat it there I had picked a spot and set up my stuff so clearly I'm eating there. I had to wait for the young man to notice me so that I could ask him to open my bottle. They started cleaning up the establishment like they were closing while I was there. They only customer left and they still had a good four hours before closing when I ask for the bathroom once again bad service the food was mid and the service was horrible. The employees were sitting at the bathroom entrance at the stairs on their phones not providing any service. I would try out another location, but not this one. This place was pretty good, I'm from California so I didn't have super high expectations for Mexican food on the east coast, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their hottest sauce us very tasty with a nice kick at the end. I tried 6 different meats, the beef was definitely better to me and I would stay away from the BBQ chicken, just had a weird flavor for a taco. Brisket was my favorite. The service was polite and helpful. The Biria was fantastic. Most places are very salty. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful

This is a really small place but there tacos are some of the best I've had. I got the chicken tinga, chorizo, and grilled chicken tacos. They were really good and the portion sizes are generous. I believe it was ~$12 for 3 tacos which is definitely filling for dinner. One suggestion if you like spicy food is to ask for the extra hot sauce. They give you 2 hot sauces when you pay and since I like spicy food, I found those 2 sauces flavorful and tangy but not spicy. Their extra-hot sauce though was definitely spicy and went really well with the tacos. read more

This used to be really good place but I noticed the last few times the food was off. Today I ordered a steak burrito, and the steak itself tasted so salty I couldn't even taste the meat. Two out of the four sauces on the table tasted fermented or spoiled, as if they left the sauces out too long. Their Ashburn location is usually good though read more

Food is very good. We had tacos and elotes. We tried 3 of the 4 sauces, all of which were very good. Service is friendly, helpful, patient, and attentive. Tacos are regular size and generously filled. Elotes was so good, I ate the whole thing even though I was getting full. Drinks are cans or bottles. Order at the counter, and they bring your food to you. Make sure to say "yes" to the "hot sauce" so that you get the caddy of sauces to try. We walked from the Hampton Inn Dulles South, which is less than 1 mile in a paved path separate from the road. We will return when we're in the area again. read more

This is a hidden germ. The portion and size comparing the price in the area. It is a drop dead tasty good and affordable place for anyone. The sauces and taco (barbacoa, brisket, chicken and steak) was good. If you are burritos lover, then you definitely want one from there. Parking is easy. However, if you come in during the lunch hours, and you are expecting to wait for a while. The store have few tables but max out around 10 people. They do have outdoor sittings, too. If you don't pay tip, then the meal is less than $15. It is worth to visit : ) read more

I was in this sort of industrial park to pick something up from a store. It was lunch time so I spotted Taco Zocalo and decided what the heck--even if it did look like an industrial park, pick-up-something and get out of there sort of restaurant. Great decision I made. I ordered 2 tacos (grilled chicken and beef barbacoa). Both were fantastic...such a cut above usual taco fare. Miles beyond Taco Bell but also much better than Anitas and other Southwestern/Mexican dining spots in the area. Highly recommended and I will be returning... read more

We came after our long spa day, and found this cute colorful little taco spot. Service was nice and super fast. We got 6 taco to share: chicken, 2 barbecue brisket, beef Barbacoa, fish and shrimp. The shrimp taco has an extra $ sign next to it, but they didn't charge me extra (not sure why, is my lucky day:D) They gave us a tray of 4 sauces to eat with. All of them are fresh and hot! My favorite is the fish, meaty and flaky. Super flavorful! My husband and I enjoy every single bite of them. 100% will return again to try their other items!! read more
